Stallone axe fights Momoa in first Bullet to the Head shot

16 December 2011 5:40 AM, PST | JoBlo.com | See recent JoBlo news »

We may be getting a decent amount of press from Expendables 2 this week, but now we have a look at Stallone's other upcoming action feature, Bullet To The Head. Director Wayne Kramer and co-star Tom Jane were replaced by Walter Hill and Christian Slater respectively, but now the film seems to be locked in place. In this first image above, we see Stallone in a fire axe fight with what I can presume is bad guy Jason Momoa. I'm mostly going by the hair. For all the buildings I've ever been in, »

FunnyOrDie's '80s super agent Warren Klein leaves a new voicemail for Christian Slater -- Listen

14 December 2011 9:10 AM, PST | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

Hollywood super-agent Warren Klein is back… and he’s got some distressing news for Christian Slater. A new 1980s voicemail from the awesome, albeit fake, Benihana-loving, straight-shooting Klein — who has previously called up clients like Jami Gertz, C. Thomas Howell, Kirk Cameron — has been unearthed, warning the Gleaming the Cube star about the release of rival skateboarding flick, Thrashin’. (“The trades are gonna eat this up! Two action-packed romantic skateboarding epics in the same quarter!”) Of course, we all know now that Thrashin’ was released in 1986, while Gleaming the Cube was released in 1989, but that’s not even Klein’s best dead-wrong but well-meaning prediction. »

Must Listen: Hollywood Agent Warren Klein’s Hilarious Voicemail to Christian Slater

13 December 2011 4:00 PM, PST | GeekTyrant | See recent GeekTyrant news »

Here is another hilarious voicemails video from Funny or Die. This one comes from “powerful 1980s Hollywood agent” Warren Klein. We have shared two other voicemail messages from Klein. This one is four and a half minutes long and was left for Christian Slater and deals with Josh Brolin’s skateboarding film Thrashin’ having it’s release date pushed out two weeks before Slater’s film, Gleaming the Cube. The newest release from the Warren Klein Voicemail Archive proves that there's always two of everything in Hollywood, especially action-packed, romantic skateboard epics. In the 1980's, Warren Klein was the most powerful agent in Hollywood. He represented the biggest stars of the era. Presumed lost, the Warren Klein Voicemail Archive was discovered last year in a foreclosed storage unit in Brentwood, CA. Warren Klein was ranked #53 on Time Magazine's "100 Most Influential People Of 1984. This video is pure humor take a listen »

Paulina Gretzky, Wayne's daughter, deletes racy Twitter on Dad's suggestion

29 November 2011 12:47 PM, PST | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

22-year-old Paulina Gretzky, daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, had quite a social media following when she unexpectedly deleted her Twitter account. Paulina, known as a bit of a party girl, frequently posted photos of herself drinking and baring cleavage, two things most 22-year-old girls never Tweet about, ever, ever, ever.

In one of her final tweets, Paulina wrote, "Having a nice sit down dinner with my dad about social media..haha #Sikeee. [sic]"

We're guessing that was meant to imply that the dinner was not exactly "nice," as her Twitter wasn't entirely dad-friendly, even when your dad is a super cool pro athlete. After all, Paulina's twitter pics have been re-published on sites like Coed Magazine. Dads don't go there.

She then tweeted, "Taking a break from Twitter for a bit. Happy Holidays!!! xoxo" before deleting the account.

Paulina has enjoyed moderate success as a singer and actress. Her song »

Scott Adkins is … El Gringo

15 November 2011 8:52 AM, PST | Beyond Hollywood | See recent Beyond Hollywood news »

In “El Gringo”, Scott Adkins plays an injured American (who is also fashionably unnamed, according to IMDb.com) who crosses the border into Mexico with a couple million dollars in cash and a plan to retire in Acapulco. Needless to say, things do not go as planned, and our nameless hero is forced to use his skills to kill a bunch of people and sleep with some beautiful senoritas. Or at least, that’s what I assume happens, given the action-packed nature of this poster and first image from the movie. “El Gringo” is directed by Eduardo Rodriguez, and co-stars Yvette Yates, Christian Slater, Erando González, Israel Islas, and Sofía Sisniega. Yes, Christian Slater is in this one, too, playing the bad guy. He does, after all, have a gun to the back of our hero’s head in the poster, so I’m assuming that makes him a bad guy. »

Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Top Ten Sexiest Vampires

10.Gary Oldman, Dracula (1992), Francis Ford Coppola

Based on Bram Stoker’s classic novel, this is the tale of Dracula, a sexual predator/blood drinker who is unleashed into Victorian Society after an encounter with Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves) at his gothic castle in Transylvania. In this film his antics are inspired by a photo of Harker’s fiancé Mina Murray (Winona Ryder). While this adaptation is a little farcical and over acted (see Mina being sexually assaulted by a large bat), the costumes are fabulous and Oldman cuts a fine figure of a man in his Victorian garb. We love his transformation from old grey creature who looks like he has breasts on »

Robot Chicken Season Five

5 November 2011 10:48 AM, PDT | Comicmix.com | See recent Comicmix news »

As is the new habit in basic cable, the Cartoon Network split the current season of its hilarious Robot Chicken into two halves, airing the first part of the fifth season late last year and then, a few weeks ago kicking off the second season. Where they didn’t follow the script was releasing Robot Chicken Season 5 on DVD just days after the second half debuted October 23.

All 20 episodes are included and I am late in bringing this to your attention because I have been savoring the installments, catching up on what has aired, and working ahead. The show, from co-creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, available on Blu-ray and standard DVD in separate packages. And as has become their wont, there are hours of bonus features, some exclusive to the Blu-ray edition, which was not sent for review.

Megan Mullally joins 'Breaking In' as new series regular

4 November 2011 1:59 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Fox's comedy "Breaking In" is coming back from the dead with an addition to the cast.

The sitcom, which the network canceled before striking a last-minute deal to bring back at midseason, has nabbed Megan Mullally as a new regular cast member.

Deadline reports that Mullally's character will take over Contra Security, replacing Christian Slater's Oz as the boss. Don't worry, Slater's sticking around; he'll just have his own boss to contend with.

The addition is part of sweeping creative changes taking place on the show, which also include focusing more on the office politics rather than the missions the Contra staff complete each week.

No premiere date has been set, though Deadline says the show will go back into production in January and is expected to join Fox's Tuesday comedy block.

If you worry this will mean Mullally won't be able to reprise her role on "Parks and Recreation »
