Well, everyone knows Robert Patrick played the T-1000 in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.” What this new Hollywood Reporter interview presupposes…maybe he almost didn’t? The actor reveals that he wasn’t exactly the first choice to play the menacing, nigh-unstoppable cyborg in the 1991 sci-fi/action masterpiece, and in fact a rather different performer was: “Billy Idol was set to do the role of the T-1000, as I understand,” Patrick says.
“I can tell you that I saw Billy’s image when I went to Stan Winston after I got the role. Unfortunately, he got into a motorcycle accident and busted up his leg, so he wasn’t able to physically do what the role demanded.” That’s quite the “what if?” scenario, but few would complain about how things »

Producer James Cameron, creator of the "Terminator" franchise has taken control of his property and will produce "Terminator 6" with "Deadpool" director Tim Miller at the helm, reinvigorating characters by returning to their 'roots', with the origin of the killer robot and how it came to look like Arnold Shwarzenegger:
"...rather than playing the indestructible killing machine of the title, Arnold will play the human character, the 'Terminators' are modeled after..."
Cameron will also re-release his classic 1991 feature "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", August 25, 2017 in a fresh, re-mastered 3D conversion, incorporating 'StereoD', a visual technology used in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens":
"...young 'John Connor' (Edward Furlong), the key to civilization's victory over a future robot uprising, is the target of the shape-shifting 'T-1000' (Robert Patrick), a 'Terminator' sent from the future to kill him.

Arnold Schwarzenegger continued his anti-hate campaign, but this time he didn't say a word. The Terminator sported his "Terminate the Hate" shirt that's being sold around the country. Proceeds go to the Simon Wiesenthal Center -- a major human rights org. Arnold took son Patrick to lunch as he strolled around, clearly for everyone to catch the message. Schwarzenegger posted a message to the neo-nazis Thursday night, explaining that those before them went directly to hell for their hateful messages. »

Sonny Landham -- who played Billy the self-knifing military badass in "Predator" -- has passed away in a Kentucky hospital at the age of 76 from congestive heart failure. Landham was part of Arnold Schwarzenegger's band of special forces soldiers in the 1987 flick -- and starred in the famous scene where he tried to go one-on-one with the alien armed only with a knife. He lost ... but he went down in a frickin' blaze of glory. »

The actor, who was part Seminole and part Cherokee, was best known for portraying Native American tracker Billy Sole in Arnold Schwarzenegger-starrer “Predator” in 1987. However, he did not appear in the film’s sequels.
Landham’s early work in the 1970s included several X-rated films, but after appearing in Walter Hill’s 1979 street-gang thriller “The Warriors,” Landham often portrayed the tough guy in 1980s films including roles in “Action Jackson” and “Lock Up.” With over 50 acting credits to his name, Landham continued to appear in films through the 1990s.
In 2003, Landham embarked on a brief campaign for the governor of Kentucky, but was unable to secure the Republican Party’s nomination. Landham also ran for the Kentucky State Senate in 2004, and was nominated by Kentucky’s Libertarian party for candidacy in 2008 for one of Kentucky’s »

Carl Icahn, the billionaire activist investor who surged to prominence with a hostile takeover of Trans World Airlines in the 1980s, has stepped down as a special adviser to President Donald Trump on regulatory issues, he said in a statement posted on his website. Scores of Republican politicians and business leaders have distanced themselves from the president after his comments following the terrorist attack in Charlottesville, with the president’s business advisory councils choosing to disband, and former Republican elected officials Mitt Romney and Arnold Schwarzenegger blasting Trump’s excuse-making for participants in a march that attracted neo-Nazi and white supremacist elements. »

Former Governator of California Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of many who aren’t happy with how President Trump addressed the violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, that left a counter-protestor dead. In a video posted to Attn Thursday, Schwarzenegger gave a stern message to the president. “There are not two sides to bigotry, and there are no two sides to hatred,” Schwarzenegger began, referencing Trump’s announcement that there were “many sides” at fault over the violence. “And if you choose to march with a flag that symbolizes the slaughter of millions of people, there are not two sides to that, »

I need your boots, your motorcycle and... your board shorts?
It is common knowledge among Terminator fans that when a human or machine travels back in time, they come through naked — and that nude body most often belongs to franchise star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which is getting a 3D re-release next week, features Schwarzenegger's T-800 arriving in the buff, which is shown in profile (a whole lot more was shown in the first film).
But it turns out there is more to it than Schwarzenegger strutting his stuff. The actor surprised everyone on set for a portion »
