Changes are coming to TNT's Franklin & Bash.
When the fourth season kicks off Wednesday (10/9c), the legal comedy will feature new characters, a few major exits and a new look. Rachel (Heather Locklear) has left the firm, in addition to original cast members Pindar (Kumail Nanjami) and Carmen (Dana Davis), while Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) too have taken on new, more senior level positions within Infeld-Daniels. But don't expect our favorite slackers to button up. The duo says that, if anything, Season 4 feels like a return to form with Franklin and Bash as the renegade underdogs you're rooting for.

The Boston Herald writes that Shatner will cameo in "Ted 2" as himself, where he'll be "a speaker at some kind of superhero fan convention to answer questions about his role in 'T.J. Hooker,'" the 1980s police series in which he starred alongside Heather Locklear. Why he'd be at a fan convention to talk about that show, and not his iconic "Star Trek" role of Captain Kirk, is beyond us, though perhaps that's where the comedy comes in, as the Herald notes that in the scene, Shatner "gets annoyed when fans keep asking him about 'Star Trek.'"
"Ted 2" is shooting in Boston, so it makes sense that the Herald would get the scoop on Shatner's casting, though there hasn't been any official word »

It takes a lot of people to make a movie. Mostly, we pay attention to the film's stars, or their above-the-line crew like directors and screenwriters. However, it is often a small army that is employed to scout locations, construct sets and costumes, set up lighting, operate cameras, feed the cast and crew, and accomplish all the less sexy but absolutely crucial tasks absolutely required. When an actor gets hurt on set, it's big news. But it's the death of a crewmember that moviemaking's lesser-known contributors are entreating us all to acknowledge. THR says the group Slates For Sarah has organized the above PSA, which asks that we all remember what happened to Sarah Jones, in hopes that it will never happen again. The video features stunt people, caterers, gaffers and grips, make-up artists, a wardrobe department, assistant directors, camera operators, producers and stars like Sam Underwood, Heather Locklear, Paul »

The Feb. 20 on-set fatality that claimed the life of Sarah Jones, a 27-year-old camera assistant, has continued to inspire the Hollywood community to seek increased awareness of safety issues.
The latest effort is a two-minute “We Are, Sarah Jones” public service video with a wide variety of actors and below-the-line crew members. None of the participants speak — instead, they simply hold placards with slogans such as “We are Sarah,” “Safety for Sarah,” “Slates for Sarah” and “Never forget, Never Again.”
Participants include Nina Dobrev, Paul Dano and sister Sara Dano (a set costumer), Wendi McLendon-Covey, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Heather Locklear, director Jake Scott, producer Jennifer Brooks, Sam Underwood, makeup artist Micah Laine and second A.D. Casey Madigan.

In fall 1993, a coming-of-age comedy called “Boy Meets World” premiered on ABC’s “Tgif” Friday night lineup; 21 years later, its sequel series, “Girl Meets World,” is debuting on the Disney Channel with many of the original cast members reprising their roles for a new generation.
Few could have anticipated the enduring popularity of the family sitcom — which starred Ben Savage as Cornelius “Cory” Matthews and Danielle Fishel as his first love and eventual wife, Topanga Lawrence — but ABC’s Tgif block was responsible for a number of iconic comedies during its initial run between 1989 and 2000, many of which still live on in syndication today. And, as with all networks, the roster was also responsible for some spectacular trainwrecks, with concepts so surreal, you’d think a kid pitched them while on a sugar high.
Before we meet Cory and Topanga’s precocious daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), take a trip down »

Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora are divorced, right? Well, you certainly wouldn't know it seeing how the exes were all smiles as they happily strolled on the beach while vacationing together in Kona, Hawaii last Sunday. And as always, 52-year-old Locklear, decked out in a white sundress, proved that age is nothing but a number as she kicked up the sand with the rock star. The former couple called it quits from their 13-year marriage back in 2007. They have a daughter together, 16-year-old Ava. Speaking of Ava, her parents also showed off their amicable side last October when they co-hosted her birthday party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Locklear was »
Television shows are evolving organisms, which is one of the most exciting things about them, but also one of the scariest. Mediocre pilots can one day lead to great series, and vice versa. Brilliant shows can abruptly fall off a cliff, and mediocrities can stun you with leaps forward. Characters can die, settings can be abandoned, and even genres aren't sacrosanct. You just never know. One day an earnest, boring show about twentysomethings trying to make it in the big city can import Heather Locklear and turn into a gleefully trashy soap opera about the apartment complex of the damned. Or a black comic farce about the Korean War can take a more serious tone as it ages and various actors and producers come and go. Or a riveting thriller about a terrorist sleeper agent and the bipolar CIA agent chasing him can fall apart by keeping the sleeper agent alive much too long. »

Friendliest exes ever? Heather Locklear and ex-husband Richie Sambora certainly didn't look like a divorced couple when they vacationed together in Hawaii with daughter Ava Sambora this month. In fact, the former spouses -- who split in 2007 after 13 years of marriage -- looked pretty chummy. The Melrose Place actress, 52, stunning as ever in a breezy white sundress, was all smiles as she walked alongside the ex-Bon Jovi guitarist, 54, on a beach in Kona, Hawaii, on Sunday, March 30. Sambora was in good spirits, [...] »
