Jude Law and Sadie Frost are close to getting back together, The Mirror reports. The couple ended their six-year marriage in 2003 after Law was accused of having an affair, but are allegedly buying a new house together and taking their children on holiday to Brazil. A source said: "Jude and Sadie have been getting on fantastically in the past six months. When her business FrostFrench went bust, Jude offered his support in any way. "He decided to help her buy somewhere in Hampshire, in the countryside, a (more) »

Tales of sexual harassment and drug use at downtown "dinner theater" venue The Box are so rampant that former regular Moby has publicly declared he won't go there anymore.
But according to the new issue of New York magazine, that hasn't stopped the club's owner, Simon Hammerstein, from "dialing up the sexuality" in the venue's dozen or more acts per night.
The Box has come under heavy fire since it opened in February 2007. Stories of drunken women being abducted outside its doors and a long-winded account of sexual harassment from two former performers who call themselves the Porcelain Twinz tarnished the Chrystie Street spot's image. »
The RocknRolla director's seven-and-a-half year marriage to the pop superstar was brought to an end on Friday, when a London judge granted the former couple a quick divorce.
But the move is sure to infuriate Madonna, who reportedly refused to let her daughter Lourdes, from a previous relationship, take on a part in the Harry Potter movie franchise last year.
Ritchie and Madonna agreed to share custody of Rocco and adopted son David, three, with the boys splitting their time between the singer's U.S. home and the moviemaker's U.K. house.
Lourdes, 12, will live full-time with her mother. »

Guy Ritchie brought Rocco and David to the set of Sherlock Holmes in Liverpool earlier today. Madonna and Guy's divorce will be made official tomorrow after a month of ugly accusations from both sides, and it seems like everything is working out for their kids. Apparently the two will share custody of Rocco and David as the boys split their time between New York and London. Supposedly Guy didn't ask for any of Madonna's money because his priorities were on his sons. The settlement will not be disclosed to the public so we won't know the details, but it looks like the couple is moving on without drawing out the ugliness. A selection of former Big Brother contestants partied with Lindsay Lohan at Faces nightclub on Sunday. Lohan and current lover Samantha Ronson were hired by the Essex club to DJ and attract celebrities. The guest list included Brian Belo, Nikki Graham, Charley Uchea and Danielle Lloyd, reports The Mirror. "The club had hoped the girls would pull in a few big showbiz names - Kimberly Stewart and Jude Law have been there (more) »

I'm inside the oldest church in London, tucked into a cold, creepy corner with three other online journalists, and we're sitting on wooden benches older than our grandfather's grandfather while mega-producer Joel Silver speaks right through the loud gun shots going off in the background as if they didn't even exist. Surreal? Yes. Exhilarating? Definitely. Over in the main section of the church, Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and Dr. Watson (Jude Law) are filming a crucial scene on three cameras (before they switch to hand-held), while Guy Ritchie -- who, might I add, directs wearing a nice, sharp grey suit -- strums an acoustic guitar between shots. Even though there are roughly 40-or-so crew members lingering about, this is probably one of the more intimate sets I've ever been on. It's dusty, spooky and kinda dangerous; above me hangs a memorial stone engraved in Latin, and all I understand »

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has featured in a poll of naughty celebrities desired by gay men. The singer finished fourth in the list, which was organised by gay-parship. Gallagher was a surprise entrant because of previous derogatory comments about the England football team being "gay boys". Actor Jude Law topped the list, while Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr. came in second. After Oasis's recent Electric Proms show at the Camden Roundhouse, Gallagher claimed that he was mocked (more) »

Universal has renewed its pact with Scott Stuber, keeping the producer in the fold through 2013. The move comes just as the studio is releasing Stuber's latest movie, the Paul Rudd/Seann William Scott comedy "Role Models."
Stuber has been a key producer for the studio ever since he and Mary Parent segued from their position as Universal's co-president of productions and formed Stuber/Parent. Parent earlier this year joined MGM as chairman.
"Scott's transformation from one of our studio's leading executives into one of our most consistent suppliers has been immensely rewarding for all of us, and we are gratified to continue our partnership," Universal's president of production Donna Langley said.
In 2009, Universal will release at least three, if not four, Stuber-produced movies: "The Wolfman, »

I've just received the following email about two proposed sequels to the superb Road To Perdition, a film that boasted the directing talents of Sam Mendes and the acting talents of one Tom Hanks, Daniel Craig, Jude Law and the late, great Paul Newman.
"Road to Perdition," the Oscar-winning 2002 film directed by Sam Mendes that starred Tom Hanks, Jude Law, Daniel Craig and the late Paul Newman, is becoming a trilogy. The follow-up films are "Road to Purgatory" and "Road to Paradise."
"Road to Purgatory" will follow the character of Michael Sullivan, Jr., the son of Tom Hanks' character in the original film, who returns from World War II with a new determination to avenge his murdered father. His quest ultimately leads him to Frank Nitti, whom he is urged to kill on the orders of Al Capone. The second sequel will follow Sullivan's continued plight.
Pic will be helmed by Max Allan Collins, »
Finally! This film is done moving around and about to come out (I hope).
Yesterday, Coming Soon was given some exclusive images from United Artists for the upcoming WWII movie Valkyrie starring Tom Cruise. In addition to that, the final trailer for the film was released today and it looks great!
This project has been rife with controversy and an ever-changing release schedule so I’ll provide a brief background: The first trailer was released an entire year ago for a planned theatrical opening this summer. Then the film was shuffled around the summer followed by being pushed back twice; first into October, then again to next February.
This raised suspicions and doubts about the quality of the film.
Following those date changes, there was a glimmer of hope after hearing that some trusty insiders had seen a very early cut of the film and basically said it was terrific. »

Just what you needed at the end of a long day: more stuff (and things) to look at:
-- Is anyone else getting sick of these celeb-stacked Vote videos? Election day is when? Really? I haven't heard a peep about it. (See below)
-- So remember that totally awesome Ghostbusters video game that was supposed to come and then didn't? (Watch the trailer over here) Well the good news is Atari has bought the right to publish not only the Ghostbusters game, but also The Chronicles of Riddick ... so you can spend hours pretending to be a bald Vin Diesel wearing blacked-out swim goggles. [Variety]
-- And speaking of Vin Diesel (who's currently trying to revive his acting career by going back and starring in sequels to all his older movies), Collider tells us that the new xXx film will be called xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, and Rob Marshall »

Guy Ritchie has taken time out from divorce negotiations to get back to what he does best (or most frequently at least) - making movies. You can see the result by going to the gallery to your right. New Sherlock Holmes set shots have hit the 'net and Ritchie looks like he's having a right old laugh. Perhaps it's Jude Law's moustache that's entertaining him so much. Either that or Robert Downey Jr's apparent commitment to character. You can work out the reasons for Ritchie's good mood by heading for the gallery to your right. And there... .

Joe, Saw kill, Snake Eyes' bike, McCain as Jigsaw, Dark Knight UK DVD, Drag Me To Hell pic, Fraser in Mummy 3 Mark Millar (Wanted) is working with an unnamed director on what he is calling the Magnum Opus of Superman stories, an 8-hour saga, split into 3 films to be released a year apart, in Lord of the Rings fashion. He tells Empire Online, "I want to start on Krypton, a thousand years ago, and end with Superman alone on Planet Earth, the last being left on the planet, as the yellow sun turns red and starts to supernova, and he loses his powers." IGN has up a list of the Top 10 Kills from the Saw movies. Strangely enough, they have age gated it. Atari is making videogame sequels to Ghostbusters and The Chronicles of Riddick. »

I love looking at the photos from the set of Sherlock Holmes, not because they give any insight into the plot, but because looking at Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. in period costumes is satisfying no matter how many times I see the pictures. The latest shots show both Law and Downey Jr. on the set with director Guy Ritchie, who might take some advice from both his stars about surviving amid a tabloid frenzy. The Bad and Ugly has the eight shots, and you can see four of them below. Check out the shot where Holmes is looking at a mysterious-looking pocket watch-- a clue to the plot, or just a crazy looking prop? All we can do now is guess, and ogle the ridiculously attractive stars. »
Ah yes, there is the Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson we've been waiting to see! Finally we get a good glimpse at Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law in Guy Ritchie's upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. I wouldn't normally keep on posting on set photos like this, but the first reveals of Holmes and Watson weren't exactly that flattering. I knew they were just bad pictures and expected this to look much better through Ritchie's lens. Alas we've got a few new photos today, courtesy of TheBadandUgly.com, that finally give us an actual glimpse of what Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson will look like on the big screen. Click either of the photos below for even more full on set photos, if you may be interested. Guy Ritchie of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and RocknRolla beforehand is both writing and directing the film. In addition to »

Robert Downey Jr. was dressed to face the British weather as he left his Manchester hotel earlier today. He made his way over to the set of Sherlock Holmes, joining Guy Ritchie and Jude Law to film a scene that involved him jumping out of a window. Robert should get used to all the action — he's just signed on to do two more Iron Man movies as well as the superhero flick The Avengers. Sounds like a lot of work for one man, but Rdj seems up to the challenge. To see more of the boys on the set just read more. Flynet and Splash News Online »
Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty were reunited in Manhattan over the weekend after spending a few days apart following their latest bikini-filled Italian vacation. Balthazar was busy attending the Night of Stars party in NYC while Sienna narrowly avoided her ex, Jude Law, in London. Once they were back together, Sienna and Balthazar were up to the usual with lots of very public kisses in the rain during an afternoon stroll. They've managed to stay together for four months now despite all the criticism, which makes us wonder if their relationship will prove to be something more than just a Summer fling. And Ritchie appeared to be enjoying his newfound freedom as they attended a private viewing of an exhibition by artist Sam Taylor-Wood at the White Cube Gallery.
Guy Richie hit the town with his boys as a world famous trio took London! The director and his pals Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law made a surprise visit to the White Cube Gallery in London, People reports. The three fellows are working on the new 'Sherlock Holmes' movie. Despite his very public divorce battle with Madonna, "Guy was in great form, hanging out with friends having a good time," a source told the mag. "He seemed quite merry and had his arms around lots of people and smiling." "Guy seemed quite happy being out and about with his friends," the source added. "I think the distraction is just what he needed, especially the way he was smiling."
