Recently, the Daily Beast got to chat up "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" Aquaman star, Jason Momoa (left), and he talked about how much it means to him to be in the new flick, along with the new Justice League : Part 1 movie. It turns out the either the Batman vs Superman or Justice League movies could possibly be in IMAX or maybe both according to Jason's comments, which read like this: "It’s awesome as an actor to know what your future is going to be because I have children and I’ve busted my ass to put food on the table. It’s awesome knowing that I’m going to be in Justice League because my son is the biggest Batman fan and my daughter loves Wonder Woman. It’ll be cool for them to see me in something because they’re not going to be watching »

Jason Momoa was announced last year as playing Aquaman in the DC Cinematic Universe, and while his first appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is still over a year a way, fans are keen to get any little bit of information they can about the film.

During a panel at the Sundance Film Festival, Momoa has offered up some new details, responding to a question from a fan about what we can expected by stating: “Well, things are going to be a little different. When I first went in I met with Zack [Snyder] and his idea is pretty amazing. When I went in, he told me … my jaw kind of dropped. My jaw doesn’t normally drop. What he has planned for the DC world and for … definitely for Aquaman is something that, you know… I think I was brought on for a certain reason and they got »

Is this the line-up for Guillermo Del Toro’s Justice League Dark?

26 January 2015 11:24 AM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

The last we heard about Guillermo Del Toro’s Justice League Dark was that the script was finished and it would be part of the DC Cinematic Universe. Although, we still have no release date.

In an previous interview, Del Toro stated that the line-up for his Justice League Dark movie would include Swamp Thing, Demon, Deadman and Zatana. Well according to Latino-Review, there could be a slight change to that line-up.

El Mayimbe (who has blocked us on Twitter so thanks to Cbm for the heads up) claims that the line-up will be John Constantine, Zatana, Deadman and Jason Blood.

Del Toro is also working on Pacific Rim 2 with Zak Penn, so there is every chance that Justice League Dark could be on the development table for some time yet.

Before we get to Justice League Dark, we need to kick things off with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice »

New Batman V Superman Reportedly Bringing Back General Zod As Doomsday,New Details

24 January 2015 1:49 PM, PST | OnTheFlix | See recent OnTheFlix news »

According to a new report from Movieweb and their sources, there's some new rumors flying around that claims the new "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" super hero/action movie is bringing back the dead corpse of Michael Shannon's General Zod (left) to be the dreaded Doomsday villain! If the rumor turns out to be true, the film would supposedly have Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) experiment on Zod's dead body, since it is, "the key to his master plan to defeat Superman." The experiment would then "trigger the Doomsday genome" which re-animates the dead body and turns it into the villainous Doomsday. They did reiterate that this is an unconfirmed rumor as it has not been confirmed by Warner Bros. Pictures. With that being said, something like this could possibly take place. Of course, if it does, we more than likely wouldn't know until we actually see it in »

Is Michael Shannon in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?

24 January 2015 4:47 AM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Rumours have resurfaced again about Michael Shannon having a role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Shannon played General Zod in Man of Steel but due to his character’s fate in that film, it was thought unlikely that he would return for the latest instalment in the series. However, Shannon was spotted alongside Henry Cavill in Chicago a few months back, and now a new report from Comic Book is claiming that General Zod will appear in the new movie, with his body serving as the basis for Doomsday.

“His corpse is stolen (or perhaps just acquired, given his military contacts in most versions of the modern mythology) by Lex Luthor and experimented on, presumably in the hopes of finding a weakness to exploit against Superman. In the course of his experimenting, we’ve been told that he “triggers the Doomsday genome,” causing the corpse to reanimate as »

'Batman v Superman' to Bring Back 'Man of Steel' Villain?

23 January 2015 5:44 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Warning! There may be Spoilers ahead! Back in August, a report surfaced from the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which revealed that the corpse of General Zod, played by Michael Shannon in 2013's Man of Steel, plays an important part in the events that unfold in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The earlier report, which was never confirmed, stated that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) was experimenting on Zod's dead body, since it is, "the key to his master plan to defeat Superman." While the report didn't divulge what exactly Luthor was using Zod's corpse for, today we have a new report from ComicBook.com that fills in the blanks.

Over the course of Luthor's experiments with Zod's corpse, he reportedly, "triggers the Doomsday genome" which re-animates the dead body and turns it into the villainous Doomsday. Granted, we've heard a number of Doomsday rumors over the past year, »

With his latest film, The End of the Tour, premiering at this month’s Sundance Film Festival, Variety caught up with Jesse Eisenberg about the film, but also dropped in a few questions about another small indie film he has coming out next year, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

While Eisenberg didn’t divulge too much, particularly about his hairstyle for the film, the actor did suggest that he would be more than happy to reprise the role in any future DC film, let alone a Batman v Superman sequel.

“I would love to,” says Eisenberg. “It’s a great group and director, and the most ideal character to play.”

Rumours are abound that Luthor is set to appear in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, whether in a cameo or as the film’s big bad. But while he has obvious excitement about the role and the forthcoming film, »

Recently, USA Today chatted up Scoot McNairy (left) who's playing a new, mystery character in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" super hero/action flick, and he spilled a little bit of new details about his character. However, they were still vague as hell as he's not allowed to say much because the studio wants to keep everyone tight-lipped. It turns out that it will be a character he's never played before, and he had to get into something that he was very unaccustomed to, to play the role. Scoot stated: 'It’s definitely 100% a character I’ve never played and I can’t speak too freely on it, but yeah, getting into that thing was definitely something I had to wrap my head around emotionally in order to play that character.
