We finally got our first look at Kingsman 2 recently and, for a first teaser trailer, it was a pretty good first look. But since Kingsman: The Secret Service was an R-rated movie, it is a bit hard to capture the spirit of it while making it appropriate for all audiences. Luckily, Fox has now released a red band version of the new Kingsman: The Golden Circle trailer that packs a punch.
20th Century Fox decided to debut the first trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle on The Late Late Show the other night, so it had to be totally clean in order to play it on TV. As anyone who saw the first Kingsman knows, this is is not a squeaky clean franchise. While the new red band trailer is largely the same, the very end of the trailer features Eggsy dropping a pitch perfect F-bomb, which really helps »
A really nice surprise a few years ago was just how much of a blast the comic book spy flick Kingsman: The Secret Service was. Now, we have a sequel on our hands in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, with a First Trailer dropping this week to tease out what’s in store for us. It’s a fun looking Trailer that you’ll be able to see at the end of this piece. As always, however, there’s some discussion to be had before we get there. Good things to those who wait, right? Exactly. As such, let’s talk a bit about this blockbuster sequel and what it might have to offer this fall. The film is a follow up to Kingsman: The Secret Service. Taking place a period of time after that outing, the Kingsman have to save the day again, this time led by Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin »

In descending order of awesomeness.
Last week came the ten second trailer trailer, and then Monday brought us the bonafide trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the somewhat anticipated (hey, let’s be honest here) follow-up to 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, adapted from the The Secret Service limited comic book series, which answers a burning question you hadn’t thought to ask: “What if James Bond was a millennial?” The answer itself is not one that can be adequately summarized — it truly needs to be experienced — but suffice it to say it’s bloody good fun. Emphasis on the bloody. And the sass. A lot of sass too.
Anyway, the newly released trailer (trailers? Your mileage may vary as to whether or not the first one counts) lays out the plot of the upcoming film pretty clearly: the Kingsmen HQ gets »

The official red band trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle plays exactly the same as the original, albeit with one minor, cheeky alteration.
After showcasing the destruction of Kingsman HQ and Gary “Eggsy” Unwin’s (Taron Egerton) subsequent journey to the States, the promo above wraps up with Egerton’s dapper lead slipping in an F-bomb for good measure. There’s a reason for his unbridled disbelief, of course, as we get a glimpse of Colin Firth’s eyepatch-wearing Harry Hart live and in the flesh, proving that those reports of his death have been greatly exaggerated. Turns out a gunshot from point-blank range isn’t enough to topple the seasoned Kingsman after all.
And though it’s a moment of fan service for anyone that’s seen the breakout original, we’re wary that The Golden Circle has revealed too much, too soon. That being said, Matthew Vaughn’s »

The Flickering Myth team react…
Villordsutch: Bond. Classic Bond. Everything about this trailer is screaming to all classic Bond fans to come and watch it from submersible taxis, secret volcano lairs and cheeky-winks to ladies. Yet at the same time there’s a foot carefully being left on the floor of the original Kingsman, here the case in point is a bad bastard wielding their disability with devastating power.
Not much is given away from this trailer except of course the removal of the Kingsmans home, the introduction of the Statesman, the main players (though who they’re playing for we do not know) and the return of Colin Firth; for this lack of major plot spoiling I’m grateful. It looks exciting, »

Back in 2015, nobody saw Kingsman: The Secret Service coming. Although a solid ensamble on paper, Colin Firth was not known for starring in action movies, it was leading man Taron Egerton’s first movie role and Samuel L. Jackson sounded utterly unbearable as the lisping, Steve Jobs-inspired villain. Still, it seemed like a ton of fun and the one-two combo of director Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman (best known for previous team-ups on Stardust, Kickass and X-Men: First Class) ensured that it would be at least passingly enjoyable. Hind sight is, of course, 20-20, and we now know that Colin

Kingsman: The Secret Service was a surprise in many ways, but possibly the biggest surprise was how goofy the film could be without losing its audience. It’s a solid movie that’s thoroughly entertaining, but it’s just wacko.
We’ve finally got a trailer for the sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and we’re apparently taking things up a few notches. Director Matthew Vaughn co-writes with Jane Goldman, and if nothing else, we’re expanding the world quite a bit. As you’ll see in the trailer, The Kingsman fall victim to someone, or some group of ones, who destroys all their favorite buildings. As Eggsy tries to cope, we have to imagine, he runs into America’s version of the organization, The Statesmen. If that weren’t enough, coupled with a lot of wild action scenes and general craziness, we get a shot of someone who is shockingly returning. »

After a couple of teasers that tried to cram a lot of sequel action, Channing Tatum, and Halle Berry into less than half a minute, 20th Century Fox has released a full trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle. And oh dear, but things are looking rather grim for Eggsy (Taron Egerton)—the Kingsman headquarters and haberdashery/weapons depot have been destroyed, leaving his future somewhat uncertain. Beyond that setup and a not-so-surprising appearance from Colin Firth’s original Galahad, it’s hard to make out the rest of the events unfolding to Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” But we do see that several Statesman members are present and accounted for, including Tatum, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry, and Pedro Pascal. And, most important, Julianne Moore presides over the chaos as the head of The Golden Circle.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle will be signing up new recruits in theaters beginning September 22.

In case you were expecting Matthew Vaughn’s follow-up to his spy action-comedy “Kingsman: The Secret Service” to be typical sequel fare, you might want to think again. If the new trailer for “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” is anything to go by, things seem to be bigger, brassier, and bolder.
The sequel catches us up with Eggsy (Taron Edgerton), Merlin (Mark Strong), and Harry (Colin Firth), who seems to be alive and well despite definitely being shot in the head the last time we saw him. The Kingsman are jetting off to the United States to join forces with their American counterparts, the aptly named Statesman. Together, the two organizations set out to take down a criminal mastermind and member of The Golden Circle, a secret new world order group.

"I hope you're ready for what comes next..." 20th Century Fox has finally released the first trailer for the sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle, once again directed by Matthew Vaughn, bringing back Taron Egerton as the British superspy known as "Eggsy". We've been waiting for this, and it's finally here and it actually looks fun. Colin Firth also returns, with Mark Strong as Merlin, and a cast featuring Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Vinnie Jones, as well as Hanna Alström, and Sophie Cookson. This seems to be a riff on America, as the Kingsman guys end up working with an American agency. I'm digging all the action so far, and I'm wondering if this could be a surprise hit. Here's the first trailer (+ poster) for Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Golden Circle, from YouTube: When an attack on the Kingsman headquarters takes place and a new villain rises, »

Nearly two years ago, Matthew Vaughn said he would only make a sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service if the screenplay was good enough. That was not a disingenuous statement. The original movie was inspired by a six-issue comic book series by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. Vaughn and Jane Goldman collaborated on the script, which used the premise and then invented new characters and scenarios. In the past, Vaughn has declined to make sequels to movies he has directed, so the fact that he and Goldman wrote a script that he wanted to direct suggests that he must have impressed himself. Kingsman: The Golden Circle features the return of stars Taron Egerton and Mark Strong. Colin Firth is also returning, which is a surprise for anyone who saw the first installment, though we...

Taron Egerton returns as Eggsy, the council estate kid who is improbably chosen as a recruit for a mysterious, elite spy agency, and finds himself entangled in a dangerous mission to save the world. The sequel appears to have all the same building blocks in place, with the major addition, as the plot synopsis reveals, of a Us version of the agency.

Matthew Vaughn’s over the top James bond send-up, Kingsman: The Secret Service, had many people champing at the bit for a sequel once the end credits rolled, and we now have our first glimpse at the highly anticipated follow-up, The Golden Circle, and this teaser trailer does a great job of setting up the upcoming sequel. Set to Frank Sinatra’s My Way, it gets some very light set-up out of the way with the destruction of the Kingsman, and then it’s on to some really impressive action shots (Pedro Pascal spinning a revolver upside down on his palm being the standout) to give us a taste of what is in store. Oh yeah, and they play their hand incredibly early and give us a brief look at Colin Firth as Harry Hart, back from the grave. I’m totally in for whatever Kingsman: The Golden Circle throws at us. »

Americans have infiltrated the next Kingsman movie, and the new teaser trailer for Kingsman: The Secret Service reveals Channing Tatum’s cowboy character may be one of the villains. Joining Colin Firth, Taron Egerton and Mark Strong are Julianne Moore, Halle Berry with Sir Elton John, and Channing Tatum, and Jeff Bridges. The new trailer is what James Bond movies used to be - smooth.
