Director: Anders Morgenthaler
Writer: Anders Morgenthaler
Producers: Marie Gade Denessen, Julie Lind-Holm
U.S. Distributor: Rights Available
While his 2006 film, Princess, starring Thure Lindhardt, received a great deal of attention after premiering in the Director’s Fortnight sidebar at Cannes, Anders Morgenthaler’s 2007 sophomore feature, Echo (with Kim Bodnia) never received theatrical release outside of Denmark. After working in television since then, he’s completed his third film feature, dealing with infant prostitution in Eastern Europe. And starring Kim Basinger. Come now, that sounds absolutely delectable. While the original title, Petit was preferable to the generic sounding I’m Here, this sounds like an excellent offbeat showcase for the beautiful Basinger, and we see Peter Stormare is once again part of Morgenthaler’s cast. This could go either way, but it’s definitely a project high on our radar.

Say it ain't so! Ireland Baldwin, famous for flaunting her good looks passed on to her by celeb parents Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger on Instagram, has tweeted, "I'm never taking another selfie again." But why?! The blond beauty didn't go into detail as to what sparked the tweet, but we're guessing there may have been some haterade on some of her latest posts and she just had enough. Don't let them get to you, Ireland. You're on that #NoShameSelfie game! Regardless, if the model is done with her selfie pics, at least she left her followers with a very memorable image. Along with posting a photo of her and her "ride or die" expressing themselves by »
Thomas Jane will star in The Veil, the latest microbudget horror film from Jason Blum's Blumhouse, which has Phil Joanou on board to direct. Universal will distribute per its first-look deal with Blumhouse. Joanou is a video director who helmed the Kim Basinger-Richard Gere erotic thriller Final Analysis but most recently teamed up with Jane to make the wildly popular short The Punisher: Dirty Laundry, an unauthorized take on the Marvel vigilante character. Related: Hollywood's 20 Masters of Horror Veil is written by Robert Ben Garant, a co-creator of the comedy show Reno 911, who with his

It’s hard to believe, but there was once a time when superhero movies weren’t a staple genre in Hollywood. Back in 1989, Warner Bros. gave Tim Burton a bunch of money to make Batman – and when the movie became a hit, the superhero film was finally seen as a viable product. This paved the way to where we are today. All of that makes this nearly 30-minute British documentary on the original Batman really interesting from a historical standpoint. It’s funny to watch people like Michael Keaton and Kim Basinger talk about Batman and superhero movies like they’re this amazing new concept that's going to wow the world since we now spend countless hours a day talking about upwards of 15 different comic book movies. They were right, though – Batman...

Ireland Baldwin definitely got her mom's runway-worthy good looks. The 18-year-old model -- Kim Basinger's daughter with ex-husband Alec Baldwin -- was a red-hot highlight at the annual Heart Truth Red Dress Collection show on Feb. 6, where she strutted her stuff alongside stars including AnnaSophia Robb, Lindsey Vonn, and NeNe Leakes. Taking center stage at New York City's Lincoln Center, Baldwin sashayed down the catwalk in an asymmetrical scarlet Donna Karan gown. She wore her blonde hair slicked back and teased, and accessorized with gold jewelry [...] »

Leave this stuff for the Kardashians. You've got way more class than that." On Monday, Baldwin shared another photo on her Instagram page that seemed to show off a brand new tattoo. While we've seen the lotus flower before on her forearm, the lacy bra is one we've never seen before. We have a feeling it's »

Grudge Match, 2013.
Directed by Peter Segal.
A pair of aging boxing rivals are coaxed out of retirement to fight one final bout -- 30 years after their last match.
There are plenty of must see movies coming out this year. To pick one out as the must see movie of this year would be tough. Of course Grudge Match would surely rank up high on the must see list… surely… no? Okay, maybe not but for those who were fans of either Rocky or Raging Bull, or both, this will be viewed (somewhat out of pure curiosity) as a film that needs to be watched. In this age of sequels, remakes and gimmicky films, Grudge Match in many regards manages to tick all three boxes. It’s almost an unofficial »

Stallone and De Niro creak through an ageing boxing romp that should have been stopped in the first round

As dumb movie pitches go, "Rocky meets Raging Bull in a retirement home" has a certain saleable charm. What a shame they actually had to go and make the movie, leaving us all to suffer through umpteen rounds of flabby, lacklustre "dramedy" that was probably much more fun on paper.
Money is the major incentive as two former big hitters agree to get back in the ring, and what's true onscreen surely applies offscreen too. De Niro drifts on autopilot through the creaky post-Last Vegas stodge, while Stallone (who looks better with his shirt off) exhibits zero romantic-comic timing, turning the central love triangle (of which Kim Basinger is a thankless third leg) into a circle solidly unsquared. Time to throw in the towel. »

Bob Dylan hadn't written Like A Rolling Stone when this is set (New York, 1961), but Isaac's eponymous hero could almost be the inspiration. He's the archetypal drifter: a complete unknown with no direction home and little prospect of realising his folk-star dream, despite, or perhaps because of, his artistic integrity. The Coens let us know exactly how it feels. This is their most mature drama to date: subdued, sincere, bleakly funny, and as finely crafted as we've come to expect.

Director: Peter Segal; Screenwriters: Tim Kelleher, Rodney Rothman; Starring: Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, Kevin Hart, Kim Basinger, Alan Arkin, Jon Bernthal; Running time: 113 mins; Certificate: 12A
Forget the Batman vs Superman movie everyone's talking about. What would happen if you threw Rocky Balboa and Raging Bull's Jake Lamotta into the boxing ring to duke it out? That's the tantalising idea at the heart of Peter Segal's comedy Grudge Match, which sees Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro play veteran fighters who strap on their gloves to settle a 30-year rivalry once and for all.
Stallone plays Henry "Razor" Sharp, a shipyard worker who retired from the sport before a proposed rematch with De Niro's Billy "The Kid" McDonnen. Director Segal relays this in the opening moments with a mixture of archive footage and CGI recreations of the two acting icons in their prime. What should be an »

Stallone and De Niro come face to face (again) in Grudge Match. Here's our review...
When Rocky Balboa hit cinema screens back in 2006, there was an incredible amount of cynicism attached to Sylvester Stallone’s return to the cinematic franchise that catapulted his career to super stardom. For many there was easy mileage in making jokes about Stallone’s advancing age, or in accusing him of cashing in on an old brand in a desperate attempt to have one final box office hit, yet his love of the character and the sheer determination to write and direct a glorious last hurrah for the beloved Balboa (well, apart from the upcoming TV series Creed) worked and worked well.
Frighteningly, it’s now been eight years since Sly’s last big screen boxing opus, but he’s proved that punching the living daylights out of things »
Director Peter Segal returns to the big screen with the new comedy Grudge Match starring Sylvester Stallone and Robert DeNiro as two aging boxers with a score to settle. Along for the ride are Kevin Hart, Alan Arkin and Kim Basinger.
Segal is no stranger to comedy and directing legends. His past credits include Anger Management with Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson, Get Smart with Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway, and the now-iconic cult classic Tommy Boy with the late Chris Farley and David Spade.
We got to sit down with Segal to talk about the new film and, among other things, making New Orleans look like Pittsburgh, working with familiar faces and the status of the long-awaited Johnny Quest movie which he is developing. Check out the interview below.
Be sure to check out Grudge Match when it hits UK cinemas January 24.

In the canon of great boxing movies, there are two which stand alone. One is Rocky, the seminal uplifting story of a Philadelphia boxer who beats the odds to become a champion. The other is Raging Bull, Martin Scorsese’s examination of Jake Lamotta, the boxing wunderkind whose hubris and public indiscretions ultimately became his undoing. The stars of each film – Sylvester Stallone and Robert DeNiro, respectively – face off for Grudge Match, the new boxing comedy from director Peter Segal. Does it live up to the promise of greatness? Sadly, it doesn’t even scratch the surface.
Grudge Match tells the story of Henry “Razor” Sharp (Stallone) and Billy “The Kid” McDonnen (DeNiro), two ageing former Pittsburgh boxers who harbour a deep resentment for each other. After years of not speaking, they are lured back to the ring by the obnoxious son of a former promoter (Kevin Hart) for a »

In Grudge Match, the legendary screen star plays Sally, the heart of the film who is the catalyst for a three decades-old feud between Sylvester Stallone’s “Razor” Sharp and Robert DeNiro’s Billy “The Kid” McDonnen. She sees the good in both men, even if they, and everyone else around them, can not.
Basinger is an Academy Award-winning actress for her work in director Curtis Hanson’s L.A. Confidential, but fans know her for many cult favorite hits of the 80′s through the 90′s including Tim Burton’s Batman, Cool World, Blind Date and Wayne’s World 2. At 60 years old, she also just signed a brand new modeling contract — not bad.
We sat down with the ageless star to talk about Grudge Match, working with heavyweights like Robert DeNiro and Sylvester Stallone, and also her favorite co-star of the bunch. As expected, she’s as lovely as you’d expect her to be. »
