*Caution: Spoilers ahead!!*

Maksim Chmerkovskiy returned to Dancing With the Stars on Monday and proved to the world why he's one of the show's greatest performers.

After being sidelined by a calf injury for the last four weeks, Chmerkovskiy rejoined partner Heather Morris for a jaw-dropping rumba set to TLC's "Waterfalls," and the super sensual performance blew the entire audience away and ended up earning them the season's first perfect score of 40 out of 40!

And then, in a twist literally no one could have expected, the pair were eliminated, leaving the audience booing and hosts Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron -- as well as every other contestant -- totally stunned.

At the end of the night, the two stars who found themselves in jeopardy -- despite consistently high scores and impressive dances -- were Morris and Olympic figure skater [link=nm »

Simon Brew Apr 28, 2017

The actors whose role in a film was shot, but chopped out of the final cut...

Yep, I know. I’ve read lists like this too, and I know that Eric Stoltz was cut out of Back To The Future. If it’s all well and good, I’ll leave that example out.

See related  The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 21 review: The Separation Agitation The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 20 review: The Recollection Dissipation The Big Bang Theory season 10 episode 19 review: The Collaboration Fluctuation

What I’ve tried to find here is a mix of reasonably known and less known instances of an actor being cut out of a film after they’ve filmed sequences for it. I’ve also tried to get to the reason they were left out as well.

Whilst all this may still sound like an exercise in clickbait, being cut out »

Fifty Shades Darker movie review: where is the fantasy?

14 February 2017 3:13 AM, PST | www.flickfilosopher.com | See recent FlickFilosopher news »

MaryAnn’s quick take… Thank god this insult of a movie doesn’t try to fool us into believing that the controlling Christian Grey is appealing. That would be even more horrific… I’m “biast” (pro): nothing

I’m “biast” (con): appalled by the popularity of this series

I have read the source material (and I loathe it)

(what is this about? see my critic’s minifesto)

Happy Valentine’s Day! Feels more like Groundhog Day, though, what with demure idiot Ana Steele jumping right back onto the horrific merry-go-round of her “relationship” with Seattle billionaire Christian Grey. It’s more of the same in Fifty Shades Darker that we saw in the first movie, Fifty Shades of Grey: He does something utterly inappropriate to violate her boundaries as a person, she bites her lip and unconvincingly murmurs “Go away,” he gets even more unpleasantly aggressive, and she gives in to him. »

Lego Batman Movie Beats Fifty Shades, John Wick at the Box Office

12 February 2017 11:56 AM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Before The Hunger Games set box office records in March 2012, that month wasn't normally considered one to launch a franchise. Lately, February has been a go-to month to launch some unconventional blockbusters, following the success of Warner Bros.' The Lego Movie ($69 million opening, $469.1 million worldwide). Fifty Shades of Grey ($85.1 million opening weekend, $571 million worldwide), Kingsman: The Secret Service ($36.2 million opening weekend, $414.3 million worldwide) and the R-rated Deadpool ($132.4 million debut, $783.1 million worldwide). This year, three highly-anticipated movies square off, with The Lego Movie spin-off The Lego Batman movie facing a pair of R-rated sequels, Universal's sexually-charged erotic drama Fifty Shades Darker and Lionsgate's action-packed John Wick: Chapter 2. As expected, all three newcomers fared quite well, but The Lego Batman Movie came out on top with $55.6 million.

Box Office Mojo reports that The Lego Batman Movie debuted in 4,088 theaters, with this animated spin-off earning an impressive $13,609. Fifty Shades Darker opened in second place with $46.7 million, »

Fifty Shades Darker review: Dir. James Foley (2017)

Fifty Shades Darker review: The sequel to Fifty Shades Of Grey enters cinemas courtesy of series newcomer James Foley, but does it make the grade?

Fifty Shades Darker review by Awais Irfan, February 2017.

Fifty Shades Darker review

2015’s film adaptation of the smash-hit novel Fifty Shades of Grey was clearly a masterpiece of its time, and a box-office hit, so naturally the follow-up we all wanted is now here: Fifty Shades Darker. Unfortunately for us, this film is perhaps just as bad – if not worse – than its predecessor (you better believe it). Not that this news come as much surprise to anyone, but, to those of you holding onto that shred of hope, this film is not good at all.

As devoid of a plot as this film is, the basic story picks up where the first film left off. Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) has a new job – as an editor »

Film Review: ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ is More Silly Than Sexy

10 February 2017 7:24 AM, PST | HollywoodChicago.com | See recent HollywoodChicago.com news »

Chicago – While offering a veritable sex scene smorgasboard, “Fifty Shades Darker” fails to offer much in the way of anything that is actually sexy. As the mousy Anastasia Steele and the billionaire Mr. Grey, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are slightly more comfortable in their roles than they were the first time around.

..but they continue to have all the sexual chemistry of a couple on a first date that isn’t going particularly well. And that’s a problem, since sexual chemistry and S&M is what this housewife fantasy series is all about.

Rating: 2.0/5.0

As we begin the second installment of the Fifty Shades trilogy, Anastasia has left her dominating lover and is starting a new life in that favorite industry of screenwriters everywhere, publishing. But Mr. Grey has not gone quietly into the good night. He follows her, has private detectives create a dossier on her, gets her bank account information, »

Fifty Shades Darker Review

9 February 2017 7:02 PM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

Author: Emily Breen

This Valentine’s weekend our favourite brooding, hard-bodied billionaire returns to the big screen with a brand new adventure. You may read our 4 star Batman review here. Unfortunately we need to speak of Fifty Shades Darker.

The last time we saw Anastasia Steele she was walking away from her abuser. Escaping with tear stains on her cheeks but a new resolve in her heart to never let that mercurial Christian Grey close enough to hurt her again. HeyUGuys had the same reaction when we read the Fifty Shades novels. Never again would we endure such pain. Yet here we are.

Sam Taylor-Johnson did an impressive job of helming Fifty Shades of Grey. Taking E L James’ preposterous and childish source material and (together with screenwriter Kelly Marcel) crafting something pleasing on the eye and inoffensive to the soul. When her Anastasia said goodbye there was a triumphant »

Premiere Interviews: Fifty Shades Darker with Dakota Johnson, E. L. James & more

9 February 2017 1:57 PM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

Author: Jon Lyus

This evening a chilly capital was warmed by the tangible excitement for the London premiere of Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey. E. L. James’ Fifty Shades trilogy were an outsized hit for the author, who has also completed another book in the series, Grey, which retold the story from the viewpoint of Christian Grey. The series is an unstoppable one, and the second film in the trilogy is due in cinemas tomorrow.

James Foley takes over from Sam Taylor-Johnson in the director’s chair for this sequel and the next – Fifty Shades Freed, which is due for release this time next year. Though reaction to the films may follow the books’ critical appraisal there is a huge fanbase eager to enjoy this new rendition of the relationship. We’ll have our review of the film up as soon as possible.

'Fifty Shades Darker' Review: Sequel to Kinky-Romance Hit Is 50 Percent Dumber

9 February 2017 1:36 PM, PST | Rollingstone.com | See recent Rolling Stone news »

Fifty Shades Dumber is more like it. In our shockingly generous one-star review of Fifty Shades of Grey in 2015, we dismissed the film version of E.L. James' bestseller as Cinderella porn – an S&M fantasy so sanitized it couldn't shock Aunt Tillie. Now here's the followup, again with Dakota Johnson, again vainly trying to have fun as Anastasia Steele. She's is no longer a virginal English major, but a magazine intern with a head for literature and a bod for sin. As you remember, Ana has parted ways with »

'Fifty Shades Darker' Review: Better Chemistry, Kinkier Sex Scenes and Creepier Shades of Grey

9 February 2017 1:00 PM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

If director Sam Taylor-Johnson and screenwriter Kelly Marcel elevated Fifty Shades of Grey above E.L. James' original material, the sequel makes a strong argument for why we shouldn't have nice things.

Fifty Shades Darker begins shortly after the elevator doors closed at the end of Fifty Shades of Grey, abruptly ending both the film and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) relationship. ("Relationship.") But after a few weeks of heartbroken pining, Ana is easily wooed back to Seattle's wealthiest sadist, this time, supposedly, for an actual relationship with "no rules, no punishments and no more secrets."

Darker is funnier than Grey, and mostly intentionally so. The movie gets good mileage out of Christian Grey performing boyfriend duties, like grocery shopping and cooking and not flogging his girlfriend. Contrary to the title's promise of darkness, it starts »
