"Take as many of them out as you can." Arrow Films from the UK has debuted the first official trailer for an action thriller titled Security, which seems like a movie straight out of the 90s. Antonio Banderas stars as a special services veteran who is hired to work as a security guard at a shopping mall. Ben Kingsley also co-stars as a "psychopathic hijacker" who goes after a young girl who was going to testify as a witness in a trial. This sounds like another one of those formulaic action movies where they plug in all the usual tropes, including a young girl being chased by criminals, a former military man forced to do regular security work, and a crazy evil guy after all of them. Also starring Liam McIntyre, Chad Lindberg, Gabriella Wright, and Cung Le. This kind of looks like Die Hard in a shopping mall, but nowhere near as good. »

There are a few notable bad guys floating around in Wonder Woman - the German army, Ludendorff (Danny Huston), etc. - but the most mysterious supervillain is evil Wwi chemist Dr. Maru. Fans of the comics will know her as Doctor Poison (which some of the soldiers off-handedly dub her in the movie), and this version of the character makes it her mission to create a chemical weapon so strong that it would quite literally melt the faces off their opposition. Her experiments leave her with a deformity on the lower half of her face, leaving her hidden behind a facial prosthetic for most of the film. Even still, I couldn't help feeling that I'd seen her somewhere before. Although Dr. Maru is in league with the Germans, she's actually played by Spanish actress Elena Anaya. Her first feature debut was as a young girl in the 1996 Spanish drama África, »

Good genes definitely run in the family.
Dakota Johnson attended the Gucci Cruise 2018 fashion show on Monday in Florence, Italy, where she stunned alongside her younger sisters, 20-year-old Stella Banderas and 17-year-old Grace Johnson. Dakota and Stella have the same mother, actress Melanie Griffith, while Dakota and Grace have the same father, actor Don Johnson.
The stylish trio definitely turned heads at the event, wearing eye-catching Gucci styles.
Dakota, Stella and Grace also posed alongside Salma Hayek, who starred in 1995's Desperado alongside Stella's dad, Antonio Banderas. The 27-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey actress wore the most daring dress of the group, showing some serious side boob in a plunging, backless floral maxi dress.
In October, Grace Instagrammed a pic of the three close siblings together.

Plot: A reclusive writer (Antonio Banderas) suffering from writers block, takes in a mysterious drifter (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) who saved him from a local bully. Review: Black Butterfly is highly reminiscent of William Monahan’s recent Mojave, which shared the same essential premise: a reclusive artist finds himself in a violent collision course with a drifter who possesses frustrated delusions of... El Cigarral is a mysterious, hidden estate that lurks on the outskirts of Toledo, Spain. Its gates are perpetually locked and its secrets are not easily pried loose. Its owner, Robert Ledgard (Antonio Banderas), keeps the outside world at a distance.
That said, more people manage to break in than he might like. It’s inevitable, at least in movies like these. Almodovar’s The Skin I Live In is part of a long tradition that winds its way from The Island of Lost Souls through Eyes Without a Face. And this house, which seems to be accessible only under cover of night or in disguise, is among the most dramatically conceived in the entire genre...

Two women talking: a recipe for witchcraft, an unnatural feedback loop, a cursed redundancy. Ingmar Bergman’s 1966 masterpiece Persona is a landmark for many reasons, but its legacy, which has show no signs of age in the 50 years since it was released in the U.S. and the U.K., is how it stared that anxiety in the face and opened up a loopy, meandering conversation that’s still going on to this day...

Depending on your willingness to go with the menacing flow, Black Butterfly either takes one twist too many or serves up a satisfying meta punch. Director Brian Goodman’s neat two-hander, largely restricted to a remote mountain cabin, gets location-expanding mileage from the deft performances of Antonio Banderas and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as off-center characters — respectively, a blocked writer at the end of his financial rope and the presumptuous drifter who offers his assistance. As no doubt intended, their dark symbiosis unfolds as the stuff of movie contrivance, and is no less involving for it.
