The Tremors worms are coming for a new set of actors: Megan Ketch — who fronted CBS’ American Gothic and recurred on Jane the Virgin as Susanna Barnett — will star opposite Kevin Bacon in Syfy’s sequel pilot.

The Directors Guild of America has leveled a six-figure fine against Amazon Studios and Jill Soloway over allegations of misconduct from directors on the “I Love Dick” series, sources have told Variety.
Representatives for the DGA, Amazon, and Soloway had no comment. A source told Variety that the directors complained that DGA rules had been violating as they did not receive credit for scenes they shot that subsequently appeared in other episodes. They also alleged that Soloway’s activities on the set had interfered with their jobs.
Soloway has extensive television credits as a producer, director, and writer dating back to “Six Feet Under,” “United States of Tara,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” Soloway won the best director award at the Sundance Film Festival for the 2013 film “Afternoon Delight,” then won a DGA Award and two Emmys for episodes of “Transparent.”

After decades in the industry, Kyra Sedgwick knows that Hollywood can be tough. So naturally, she has fears about her and husband Kevin Bacon‘s daughter, Sosie Bacon, following her parents’ career path.
“As an actor, there is so much rejection,” Sedwick tells Good Housekeeping in the magazine’s October issue. “Kevin and I have had some painful experiences, and you don’t want your kid to go through that.”
“But I want to follow her passion, and acting has become her passion,” she adds.
Sosie was Miss Golden Globe back in 2014 and recently starred in the hit Netflix drama series 13 Reasons Why. »

13 Reasons Why is one of Netflix's biggest hits, and if you've read the book or watched the show, you know that the relationships between the students at Liberty High School are, well, complicated. While the cast does an amazing job portraying that heartbreak on screen, they're actually all incredibly close in real life. The show's stars, including Dylan Minnette (Clay Jensen), Katherine Langford (Hannah Baker), Brandon Flynn (Justin), and Alisha Boe (Jessica), regularly hung out during filming and are now our new favorite Hollywood friend group. And with season two returning in 2018, we're sure they're only getting started. Keep reading for proof that nothing can tear them apart (not even cassette tapes). Just like this group of medical students in this upcoming thriller, the Flatliners franchise has been brought back from the dead with a new movie hitting theaters later this month. To get fans ready for this "revival" that continues the story from the original 1990 movie, Sony Pictures has dropped a new trailer, that shows how these medical students' lives change drastically after an experiment where they're brought back from the dead. The trailer also reveals the sequel's new tagline, "You haven't lived until you've died."
In Flatliners, five medical students, obsessed by the mystery of what lies beyond the confines of life, embark on a daring and dangerous experiment: by stopping their hearts for short periods of time, each triggers a near-death experience giving them a firsthand account of the afterlife. But as their experiments become increasingly dangerous, they are each haunted by the sins of their pasts, brought on »

With just under one month left until Sony Pictures' Flatliners remake hits theaters, the studio has released four new character posters that shows completely different sides to the main characters. The posters feature Ellen Page's Courtney, Diego Luna's Ray, Nina Dobrev's Marlo and Kiersey Clemons' Sophia. While each of these characters has a seemingly normal expression, these one-sheets literally show another side of them, and it's clear they're truly terrified.
The posters surfaced on the Flatliners Twitter earlier today, although it remains uncertain if we'll get any more footage between now and the September 29 release date. The first Flatliners trailer didn't debut until mid-June, and with the release just a few weeks away, hopefully there will be more footage for fans to explore, before this reboot hits theaters. For fans of the original movie, there will be a familiar face involved, although he isn't seen on any of these posters. »
Did Bake Off burn its bottom with the move to Channel 4, or did it rise like a phoenix?
So what do we think? It’s long, and adverts are...wearing. But Sandi and Noel could work well if they relax, and the bakers themselves impressed. There are a few artists in there. I’d say that last round alone warranted another week’s watching.
I also imagine GeneralMittens is bang on the money with what happens next, but I can’t print that up here. Shame on you. Er, General.
Is it dark because they make them stay in the grounds until they cry on camera?
Next week is biscuits. I do want to see if Sandi and Noel relax, plus I’m contractually obliged. But I’d love to see you all again!
A worthy win for Steven. And Peter is sent home. »

Hollywood is a small town, but it just got even smaller. The A-list isn't a new concept in Tinseltown and it's no secret that there's a select group of people who can considered to be stars of the highest caliber. But what people might not realize is that the A-list is basically one exclusive club of interconnected actors and actresses—it's like that old game, Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, only Kevin Bacon isn't actually invited this time because it's just that exclusive. After some very exhaustive research it's easy to come to the conclusion that, in fact, the group of actors at the top of their craft is so insular that they basically make up one big movie cast. It's no wonder that »
The pilot is written by Andrew Miller (The Secret Circle) and will take place 25 years after the original movie, as Perfection, Nv once again comes under threat from the killer Graboid worms. To defeat them, the town turns to Valentine McKee (the returning Kevin Bacon), who beat them once – but to do it again he’ll have to overcome age, alcohol and a delusional hero complex.
