17 hours ago | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

A photo posted by @justintheroux on Oct 20, 2016 at 10:01am Pdt When you think of Justin Theroux, you probably think about his extreme sexiness, his cute moments with wife Jennifer Aniston, and his incredible acting ability. What you probably don't think of, however, is a man who went through a serious awkward phase in the '80s (well, sort of). The Girl on the Train star posted one of the best Throwback Thursday photos we've ever seen on Instagram this week. In the pic, Justin and pal Elizabeth Banks pose for the camera while dressed up in hilarious costumes on the set of their 2005 film The Baxter. "Fake #tbt to fake high school sweetheart, for fake set photo with the very real @elizabethbanks," Justin wrote. In the movie, the two play former high school sweethearts who run into each other years later, just two weeks before her wedding to another guy. »

Others … well, others don’t quite get that chance. For every Michael Myers, there’s a dozen wannabes stalking the shadows of lesser-known horror films, just trying their hardest to scare people. They fail miserably, of course, but where would we be as a civilization without the likes of …

First Clips For Office Christmas Party Tee Up Festive Shenanigans

Not a year goes by without the release of a festive-themed ensemble comedy to cram up theaters. It’s a Hollywood tradition that stretches all the way back to National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and beyond, and one that will continue with the release of Office Christmas Party come December.

Acting as a welcome tonic to the R-rated shenanigans of Bad Santa 2, Josh Gordon and Will Speck’s star-studded romp is considered the more light-hearted of the two, centering on Jennifer Aniston’s CEO Carol Vanstone as she preps to shut down the company in the build up to the festive season. In a last-ditch effort to reverse their fortunes, Clay (T. J. Miller) and his Chief Technical Officer “must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs.”

Brad Pitt’s Plan B Team Explains How They Discover Bold Films Like ‘Moonlight’ and ‘Lost City of Z’

Brad Pitt has a famous face, but these days, his name is even more ubiquitous on projects that he doesn’t star in. Plan B, the production company Pitt co-founded with Brad Grey and Jennifer Aniston in 2001, has gained traction in recent years as one of the most significant entities supporting auteur-driven work in the United States. In 2013, the company helped bring Steve McQueen’s Oscar-dominating “12 Years a Slave” to fruition. Over the next two years, the company’s highlights included Ava DuVernay’s “Selma” and Adam McKay’s “The Big Short,” both of which struck a marked contrast to more traditional studio offerings. Earlier this fall, the company unveiled “The Voyage of Time,” Terrence Malick’s cosmic documentary about the origins of the universe. But there may be no better demonstration of Plan B’s current focus than the two films it produced that screened this month at the »

National Boss Day: These Are the Gifts to Get Every Type Manager

Suck up to your manager the right way. As Hollywood likes to remind us, there are all different kinds of bosses: Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly in Devil Wears Prada was the ultimate fashion boss, Viola Davis as Annalise Keating in How to Get Away with Murder was the ultimate educational boss and Jennifer Aniston as Julia in Horrible Bosses was the ultimate, well, horrible boss. Now, of course your supervisors don't have the exact personality traits those fictional characters do, but they must have some similarities. So when it comes time for gift-giving (birthdays, holidays, etc.), we know the following guide will definitely come in handy. Click here for unexpected »

Movie Review – Storks (2016)

14 October 2016 3:45 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Storks, 2016.

Directed by Nicholas Stoller, Doug Sweetland

Featuring the voice talents of Andy Samberg, Katie Crown, Kelsey Grammer, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Jennifer Aniston, Ty Burrell, Danny Trejo and Stephen Kramer Glickman.

Storks have moved on from delivering babies to packages. But when an order for a baby appears, the best delivery stork must scramble to fix the error by delivering the baby.

There’s a reason the late Chuck Jones-the mastermind behind Looney Tunes – is remembered as maybe the great of animation; Jones had a fundamental understanding of what one could do with medium, the world building, animation as a facility to play with physics. Not to go so far as to compare Storks, the latest from Warner Bros. Animation – whose only film prior was 2014’s delightful The Lego Movie – to that of Jones’ output, but it certainly takes notes. It seems infatuated with the brazen, brash »

Storks review – baby carriers deliver a bundle of wacky fun

13 October 2016 2:45 PM, PDT | The Guardian - Film News | See recent The Guardian - Film News news »

Jennifer Aniston is among the voice cast of this family-friendly animation about the other place that babies come from

This is a really weird animation – weirder, perhaps, than it entirely intended to be – co-directed and written by Nicholas Stoller of Forgetting Sarah Marshall fame, and featuring the voices of Jennifer Aniston and Andy Samberg. It occasionally felt like a very hyperactive pitch: a wacky idea presented to studio executives by overcaffeinated writers, who’d thought it up in the corridor just before the meeting. The finished product brazens everything out with surreal chutzpah.
