(1948-49) Radio: Starred (as "Dan Holiday" on Mutual Radio's "Box 13".

Radio: Guest-starred in many radio programs in the 1940s and 1950s, including "The Lux Radio Theater," "Suspense" and "The Screen Guild Theater."

(1948) Radio: His company, Mayfair Syndication, produced the series "The Damon Runyon Theatre."

(1959) Unsold pilot: Executive producer of a pilot titled "Box 13," based on his 1948-49 radio series. The pilot was written by 'Aaron Spelling' and directed by Jerry Hopper. It starred Bill Leslie (in Ladd's old role as Dan Holiday), Carolyn Jones and Paul Richards.

(2/22/55) Radio: Appeared (as "Shane") in a "Lux Radio Theater" production of his 1953 film Shane (1953). Van Heflin also repeated his role in the film.
