Lent his name to "Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine", a popular anthology that continued to publish after his death.
Also lent his name and character to a series of adolescent books called "Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators" (circa 1950s-1960s). The premise was that main character Jupiter Jones won the use of Mr. Hitchcock's limousine. Hitch also often wrote forewards to this series of books.

for a crime/adventure series called "Clue" as a professor of criminology who liked to put his theories into action..
(1945) Radio: "Once Upon a Midnight". This was either a proposed 2 part radio play, or a "radio pilot" for a series. Neither a part 2 nor further episodes are known to exist. It was available in record album format in 1987 under the title "Bela Lugosi Meets Alfred Hitchcock" (Radiola, MR-1162), with the Hitchcock episode on side B. Hitchcock served as host of the episode.
(19th October 1959) Was the castaway on BBC Radio's "Desert Island Discs" show. His luxury item was a continental railway timetable, his chosen book was Mrs Beeton's "Household Management" and his selected record was Richard Wagner's "Siegfried's Horn-call" (from the opera "The Ring of the Nibelung").
(1990) His play, "Vanilla," was performed at the Lyric Theatre in London, England with Sian Phillips, Joanna Lumley, Ron Cook, Greg Hicks, and Charlotte Cornwell in the cast. Harold Pinter was director.
