The list was created based on IMDb ratings of 7 and over. I wanted to get an idea of what viewers thought were some of the best flicks out there.
Some I expected, for others I was surprised that they were rated so high, but I also found many gems I had not heard of before. And equally surprising were those flicks that didn't make the cut... but that's another story for another time.
Will definitely be re-watching many of the films that did show up on this list.
Movies are initially ordered randomly, but of course you can rearrange its viewing to your liking by date, alphabetically, genre...
Will be updating as info becomes available. Enjoy.
A kissingbudha original list.

Here are the movies being released in August, as the summer movie season winds down.
List begins with the movies we are most excited about of all types then goes into the animated section followed by super-hero and action movies then comedies then war and western movies and finally documentaries. The rest of the movies are organized by releases year and excitment level.
After every movie I will have seen, I'll write a short review on it.
1-3: The next movies to be reviewed
4-31: Reviewed movies
32-51: Movies I'll review
Sorry if there are some grammar mistakes or misspelled words, English isn't my first nor second language, but I'm working on it.

It's not easy figuring out which films to see at Sundance. You don't really know anything about them and often have to rely on the past performance of key players. That's why the upcoming movies by directors Drake Doremus, Michael Winterbottom and Lynn Shelton, just for starters, look so appealing. You also look for strong ensembles made up of quality actors who often gravitate to quality roles, like Peter Sarsgaard's participation in Lovelace or Ben Foster in Kill Your Darlings. Here's a short of list of some of the big names and possible finds at the Fest. - Keith Simanton
This is a list of movies I want to see or have seen, which were or will be in theaters from 2011 to 2015. Some movies have the date 2010 0r 2009, but they were in theaters later.
I constantly add some movies, when I'm sure I want to see them and I delete some, when I have seen them and don't want to recommend them (vote less than 7 stars).
Also check my list with upcomming movies that I hope to be good but am not sure yet, that I want to see them:

The last 'Golden Age' of cinema...(maybe) - and these are the essentials... (perhaps).
It was hard choosing only fifteen from what looks to be a great year in film. I will be adding my thoughts on each of these films as I see them throughout the year.
HONORABLE MENTIONS: Blue Jasmine, The Immigrant, Pacific Rim, This Is the End, The Wolf of Wall Street.

Sometimes movie titles just make no sense. I don't really know anything about any of these films, so apologies if I miss the point, I'm just confused by the titles.
An up-to-date list of a number of notable movies in development. That said, I have to point out that these entries picked by my personal opinion.
A handful of movies you might wanna see. Because I think they're good. Maybe you don't... doesn't hurt to find out though.
Including recently released and previous to 2013.

A comprehensive film guide into the twenty-something life
and their journey to self discovery
so often beaten off the track
moving but without direction
and dealing with the many problems of the quarter life crisis
a blissful age which feels so eternal
tomorrow never matters
- For Lost in Translation: Forever In Your Teens, refer to HiLiteHead: Your Complete Guide to Coming of Age Films since 1929-present
Gone are the sweet stories of innocent teenagers.
No, in your 20s you’re part of a bigger scheme, beyond John Huges, and those microcosmic tales of the doe-eyed ugly duckling story no longer seem as relatable. You may still be the young prodigy destined for greatness or maybe its is a pipe dream you’ve outgrown. As you change, so do the films about you. This list best reflects the emotional, financial, and bodily changes of the 20’s forever lost in translation.
