Question:“What is the point of large lists?” Lists like this have a "Refine list" feature (located in the right hand side of the page), which is a powerful filtering tool. With this tool one can exclude all of the films that one has already "rated"(seen), or that are in the >>>>> "watchlist", or exclude films that have been rated below lets say 6/10 stars, etc. With this list you get the ability to filter the list any way you like... to drill down on the exact content that you are looking for. All filters can be used at the same time, in any combination.

List incorporates movies of interest that are yet to be officially released; includes projects in various stages of production: announced, rumored, in development, pre-production, filming, and post-production. However, those listed as either announced, rumored, or in development may not appear due to perceived unlikelihood of project's eventual release (incl. films in "development hell").
Ranking is influenced by proximity of release date; career prestige of director and/or cast and/or writer(s); strength of most previous project(s) by director/cast/writer(s); strength of film's premise; intensity of ad campaign (TV spots, print advertisements, etc.); popularity of genre*, debut and quality of (i) teaser/full-length trailer(s) and (ii) promotional material(s).
MOVIES ARE REMOVED FROM THE LIST UPON RELEASE
* - If few horror films are slated for the year, any horror film of suspected quality may be ranked high(er) due to the rarity of movies of its kind.

2012 was a good year in Hollywood for sequels but 2013 promises to be even better. Here is a list of this years most anticipated sequels, prequels & remakes.
This is a list of my 25 favorite films of 2013. Note: This list won't be fully complete until December, when I finally get to see a lot of the movies. I rarely see movies with unanimously poor reviews and artsy fartsy indy films. I usually go the the movies once a week. This list is subject to change at anytime.
A list of films that have caught my eye and got me excited! Included the sequels I'm looking forward too.
I've been trying to dig up more and more movie releases for the future years. I more dates and titles will be released as the months passed, but here's a major update for the rest of 2012 through 2015.
P.S. I'm kinda curious which films are most anticipated. If you want, rate top 10 most anticipated films with 1 being most. There's a lot on here so choose wisely.

This is actually my watchlist
Movies that I haven't seen yet, and movies that I'm most looking forward to watch.
The list is in order, starting with the movies that I have very high expectations, and movies that I want to watch first.
I'm always updating this list, when I watch a movie of this list, then I remove the movie from this list, and when I find a movie that I want to watch, so I add to the list

Moviegoers, don't get your hopes up for many exciting new cinematic adventures in 2013 - from the looks of things, one out of every three or four movies will be a sequel, prequel, remake, reboot, or based on a book. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited, just as any movie-buff would be about new movies. But still, there are so many of them...
This is my ranking of the top animated movies from 1950-2013. These are all G and PG movies (except Princess Mononoke). If I were buying animated movies, I'd buy them in this order. Movies at the bottom aren't bad (e.g., the Tale of Despereaux is a fine movie way down the list). All of these movies are worth watching. (If I missed something, let me know in the comments.) Enjoy!
A prequel is a work that supplements a previously completed one, and has an earlier time setting in the sequel feature films, TV movies, TV series and straight-to-DVDs. The prequel forms part of the “back-story”.
Actingout177 here again. I'm a 23 yr. old male who has recently begun to try to advise movie go-ers to see in theaters. I might not be any Ebert or anything, but I have some background in theater, film-making, cinematography, and SFX-make-up from a few years in college. I will try to update as much as possible. Here Ya Go!
This will be a rather short list but one that will be for the best Pixar films. And since there is only about 13 or 14 Pixar films I will include them all. I decided to do a twist I am going to list them from worst to best. So the movie a the bottom of the list is actually the best. Just the shake things a little bit. This is also a celebration for Pixar's newest film Monster's University. Enjoy!
Una lista personal en discurso subjetivo de las películas Pixar en el orden que más me han gustado.

These are the top 10 movies that will be released between 2013 - 2015 that should definitely come out sooner than that!
Movies that I'm both dying to see & some that could be potentially interesting.
While tracking a movie's box office is fascinating, The Measured Circle is also interested in how profitable a movie is.
This list (of movies making a domestic gross ("dogro") of at least $40 million in the USA in 2013 ranks them in order, based on their dogro against their rumored production budgets. Certainly there are other costs (including the not inconsiderable marketing budget) and other income (including foreign box office and merchandising), but this can give us an interesting picture.
Expect studios to look at these types of results, and sometimes greenlight projects based on them (although it's hard to resist spending a $100 million on a possible blockbuster).
Note that recent releases will typically appear lower on this list than their eventual results. If they were in the top ten the weekend before the list is updated, they will normally be marked with "and counting".
Movies where the rumored production budget is not available on IMDb, but which have dogroed at least $40m in 2013 in the USA appear at the bottom of the list. They may be more profitable than many of the movies above them, but we can't do the math on them.

I'm sure I'll get a lot of flack for choosing and ordering the films on the list the way I did, but these are just personal favorites.
2012 was a tragedy . "The Dark Knight Rises" suffered a deadly attack due to the 'Aurora Shooting Spree' . The best film of 2012 went down . Films like "The Avengers" scored heavily with their mild story and comedy . But I hope 2013 won't be the same . "HOPE FOR THE BEST"
25 movies from the year of 2013 that I am anticipating the most, as of Dec. 29, 2012 (except where noted). After I see the movie, I give it a number out of 10. Be sure to check back throughout the year to find out what I think about them after I've seen them.
