Question:“What is the point of large lists?” Lists like this have a "Refine list" feature (located in the right hand side of the page), which is a powerful filtering tool. With this tool one can exclude all of the films that one has already "rated"(seen), or that are in the >>>>> "watchlist", or exclude films that have been rated below lets say 6/10 stars, etc. With this list you get the ability to filter the list any way you like... to drill down on the exact content that you are looking for. All filters can be used at the same time, in any combination.

As the world goes Zombie crazy once more with the release of Brad Pitt's World War Z, I decided to create this list of my top 30 zombie films that I have seen over the years of being a horror fan. The traditional zombie is a reanimated corpse that is slow moving but very aggressive, which can be best seen in George A Romero's Living Dead Trilogy. But as the the horror genre evolved so did the zombies, giving rise to fast zombies. The fast zombies are more like living infected and don't follow the traditional zombie traits, but they are still zombies, best seen in 28 Days Later and REC. Any recommendations are welcomed.

These are all my ultimate best horror movies that i have seen from the year 2000. The list is in chronological order and listed in alphabetical order.
I have included gory horror, supernatural horror, psychological horror, horror drama, horror thrillers, fantasy horror and foreign horror.
I have had a change of heart and included horror comedies because they do have some great horror moments and have played a big part in the horror genre.

I'm a massive horror fan and this is the list of horrors I have seen please comment some suggestions
Hey everyone I'm 17 and I'm a big fan of horror and I love to watch it with nearly every chance I get :) I have a big interest in 80s horror films, Italian horror, video nasties and a bit of the modern stuff. My favourite horror directors are John Carpenter, Wes Craven, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci, Ruggero Deodato, David Cronberg, Neil Marshall, Takashi Mike, Sam Raimi, Clive Barker, George A. Romero, Tobe Hooper, Roman Polanski, Stuart Gordon, Brian De Palma and fairly new horror director Alexandre Aja. I would love to hear some feedback on the list on what you guys think plus some suggestions :) Also I know that some of these movies on this list might not be considerd horror so you don't need to comment about that, and if you ever wanna chat or ask me something about horror add me on facebook :) http://www.facebook.com/dylan.brown.1447

A list of Real Sci-fi Movies, To me some Sci-fi movies is not Real Sci-fi ; X-men First Class, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Cloverfield, The Mist, Star Wars is a great movie but not real Sci-fi.
For Time Travel Movies, I do not believe in change the event, effectively creating a parallel universe, I'm not fan of Back to the Future and Frequency.

The popularity of post-apocolyptic and zombie movies is growing- so much that they have started to break free from the horror genre. Films like 'Blindness' and 'Children of Men' all have the post apocolyptic theme but are done in a more dramatic film style. This list pays tribute to the genre that started it all: HORROR!

The movies I'm most looking forward to seeing in 2013. Movies, as I see them, will be moved to the bottom of the list.
A list of films that have caught my eye and got me excited! Included the sequels I'm looking forward too.
I've been trying to dig up more and more movie releases for the future years. I more dates and titles will be released as the months passed, but here's a major update for the rest of 2012 through 2015.
P.S. I'm kinda curious which films are most anticipated. If you want, rate top 10 most anticipated films with 1 being most. There's a lot on here so choose wisely.

Welcome to what I hope is the most comprehensive ranking of zombie movies on IMDB. This list is subjective as nobody has seen them all and there are many, many more beyond the three hundred seen here. But hopefully there are a few new "undead" flicks for Zombie fans to chew on. Also, after the first one hundred and fifty or so films it starts to get a little ugly as the cinematography viewing quality drops off rather quick. Which is why I won't post more than what is already here. Also , I frequently update my revue with new undead films so feel free to revisit. Thanks.

The list was inspired by "Le voyage dans la lune" a short film by Georges Méliès (1902) which triggered the Sci-Fi movie genre. The list goes on to include the onslaught of Post War and B Movies from the 50's on up through to the classics of the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and to the recent blockbusters.
Also included are short or experimental Sci-fi films, some Sci-fi TV series and future Sci-Fi releases for 2013, 2014 and 2015. To get the most from this list, also search by 'US release date, Date added and Title A-Z. For example, upcoming releases without posters are listed at the end of list.
Will be updating as info becomes available. Enjoy.

This is just a prediction, on the biggest films Box Office wise. Also the figures presented are just the ceiling of what the film might make, not an actual guess.
This is a rank detailing the ranking of the films released so far this year in America Theatrically(festivals don't count) that I have seen.

Arno from IMDb got together with Ray from Box Office Mojo and together they offer up this list of 20 titles that are worth keeping an eye out for in 2013. The one thing they can agree upon? A mutual fascination with Benedict Cumberbatch.
This list changes every day so come often and tell me what you think !
By the way I don't live in America so if you see films already released in the USA, it is certainly not the same in my country (but I would be very glad to have your reviews !!!).

These are movies coming out 2013 & 2014 that I think are worth seeing. In ORDER from the ones I REALLY want to see, starting at NO. 1 to the ones I least want to see (NO. 40)
I'll be sure to keep it updated

This is my ranking of the best action movies released from 2009-2013. These are in order from best to mediocre (yes, not all movies toward bottom are "good"). There are no R-rated movies in the list. If a 2009-2013 action movie didn't make the list, probably not worth watching. Enjoy.
Mostly Sci-Fi, Fantasy, & Superhero, in order of release date. Also, check out my 2014 list.
A list of interesting movies and potential blockbusters that are releasing in the US in 2013. For movies a bit further out, see 2014 and beyond
This is actually my watchlist
Movies that I haven't seen yet, and movies that I'm most looking forward to watch.
The list is in order, starting with the movies that I have very high expectations, and movies that I want to watch first.
I'm always updating this list, when I watch a movie of this list, then I remove the movie from this list, and when I find a movie that I want to watch, so I add to the list

Here are a couple of Post-Apocalyptic movies and TV shows I've watched in no particular order. Please suggest any movies I may have missed or should watch. Check out my other list of PA movies I have yet to see here http://www.imdb.com/list/B-qfAU-pgjg/
Movies I can recommend
There are a lot more movies in this field, but I wanted to include only titles I've seen and liked.
List is sorted by rating and genre. Zombie Comedy starting with Zombieland, End Time titles are after them.

Actingout177 here again. I'm a 23 yr. old male who has recently begun to try to advise movie go-ers to see in theaters. I might not be any Ebert or anything, but I have some background in theater, film-making, cinematography, and SFX-make-up from a few years in college. I will try to update as much as possible. Here Ya Go!
2011 already has some finest movie hitting the big screen and the box-office..., but rest assured that there were a lot of movie I mean BIG Movies to see next year and here they are.......
While tracking a movie's box office is fascinating, The Measured Circle is also interested in how profitable a movie is.
This list (of movies making a domestic gross ("dogro") of at least $40 million in the USA in 2013 ranks them in order, based on their dogro against their rumored production budgets. Certainly there are other costs (including the not inconsiderable marketing budget) and other income (including foreign box office and merchandising), but this can give us an interesting picture.
Expect studios to look at these types of results, and sometimes greenlight projects based on them (although it's hard to resist spending a $100 million on a possible blockbuster).
Note that recent releases will typically appear lower on this list than their eventual results. If they were in the top ten the weekend before the list is updated, they will normally be marked with "and counting".
Movies where the rumored production budget is not available on IMDb, but which have dogroed at least $40m in 2013 in the USA appear at the bottom of the list. They may be more profitable than many of the movies above them, but we can't do the math on them.
