Movies that I enjoyed a lot not because they are (necessarily) a piece of art but because they left me with intense and extreme feelings of joy, horror or drama .
As I wrote last year, Cannes is a wonderful place and unique festival, but it's not easy to watch a large volume of movies due to meetings and other events. There's nothing like a red carpet premiere though! What Cannes lacks in quantity, it more than compensates in quality.
I attended from opening night (16 May) and left early in the following Wednesday morning (23 May) so as usual missed some of the movies I really wanted to see, including On the Road, Cosmopolis and Mud. Other late players on my list were Hemingway & Gellhorn and The Paperboy. I also queued for Antiviral but failed to get in at a very popular Saturday afternoon screening.
You can discover more about the festival at IMDb's Cannes section.

This list contains a bit of Disney/Pixar, some non disney/pixar stuff for kids and a bit of stuff aimed at adults. If anyone has got any suggestions for grown up stuff let me know-note I have seen A Scanner Darkly and rated it 7, hence it's not on this list as all these titles are rated 8+. No particular order
There's always a movie that pops up when i can't hold the tears and these are the ones that got me the most.
in last 15 years, (except no 1 & no 16) There are 20 movies really made me think, made me numb..those are like chocolates.. even after getting finished...the taste remains !!!!

Just a hodge-podge of television chararacters I find interesting for one reason or another.
Mark McCrindle is an amazing actor and doesn't get enough credit for his talents. I have made this list of my favorite actors including Mark McCrindle. Hopefully Mark McCrindle will get recognized on a larger scale in the coming years.
My absolutely favourite TV shows from the last few years (in no particular order)
Seeing or hearing one of these people onscreen makes me leap for the remote. If one of them was in a movie I would not see it unless the cast was compensated by at least two actors of quality.
this is no easy task, I must admit that the original cast was perfect
These are cartoons and animes that were televised either in first-run or in syndication during the 1990s.
I was going to do this by character name but none of them had pictures. So I will do it by their acting name and let you know which I am referring to.
Let me know what some of yours are. I might have missed them!!
I may have an actor listed more than once since I don't think there is a limit on great characters!
These are the ones that stand out to me but I am sure I will be working on this indefinitely:)

Just my personal list of awesome movies and series for me to keep track and not forget anyone
I grew up in the 90's, when bad television and movies were ubiquitous and life was great. I don't mind that not all of my favorite movies are Shakespeare in quality or The Godfather in style. Yes, one of my favorite movies is Ever After with Drew Barrymore. I love that film (and not only because I grew up with it!) The movie perfectly fits my ideal genre of movie: romance, fantasy, period, adventure, and comedy. But anyway, I decided to make a list of all the movies that are not only "guilty-pleasures" for me but are movies I don't mind admitting to the rest of the world that I adore.
This is a list of actors that are the fourth generation of their respective acting lineages
Movies with plot twists, psychological thrillers and/or movies that make you uncomfortable and make you question the reality of the world around you!!

I don't go to the theater often, but I've been going more frequently before, mostly for sci-fi films and things like that. Here are some (mostly sequels) that I currently think I might see in the theater.
Many actors had a significant director career. Many directors enjoyed success as an actor. But few really excelled in both disciplines. Let us play a game. For each actor-director, give him two notes out of ten : one for his acting career, one for his directing career. Then take the minimum of the two for everyone, and there is your ranking. Here is mine.
All the films in this list are set at least in part in the great state of New Mexico
