- StarsDave Benson PhillipsAlex LovellSara Louise HarperThe Playhouse was a long and successful presentation format created for Playhouse Disney upon its launch in the UK in 1998. For 8 years, viewers could join Big Dave and Little Alex for hours of fun inside the Playhouse, while singing along with classic Disney songs in Music Time, creating Disney-themed artwork in Art Play, seeing magical drawings turned into stories in Circle Time, and watching culinary delights being made in Bite Size. The Playhouse format soon expanded into most of Europe, Latin America, and even Australia and New Zealand. Some countries kept this format for longer than others; the UK and France dropped it around late August 2006, while Latin America, Australia and New Zealand kept it until at least 2007, and its legacy continues.
