Sean Bean's career since the eighties spans theatre, radio, television and movies. Bean was born in Handsworth, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, to Rita (Tuckwood) and Brian Bean. He worked for his father's welding firm before he decided to become an actor. He attended RADA in London and appeared in a number of West End stage productions including RSC's "Fair Maid of the West" (Spencer), (1986) and "Romeo and Juliet" (1987) (Romeo) , as well as "Deathwatch" (Lederer) (1985) at the Young Vic and "Killing the Cat" (Danny) (1990) at the Theatre Upstairs.
This soulful, green-eyed blonde's roles are so varied that his magnetic persona convincing plays angst-ridden villains, as in Clarissa (1991), passionate lovers like Mellors in Lady Chatterley (1993), rough-and-ready soldiers such as Richard Sharpe, heart wrenching warriors as the emotionally torn Boromir in "The Lord of the Rings," and noble Greeks, like Odysseus in Troy (2004), where his very presence in the film adds grace and validity to the rest of the movie. Recently, he did a turn in Shakespeare's "Macbeth," where as the principal lead, he so transfixed the audience that the show was extended in London and critically acclaimed. Bean, however, remains himself, a man's man, and in the glitzy world of movies this is a rare thing indeed. Bean resides in London where he enjoys raising his beautiful daughters, his beloved football, and the occasional pint.
Bean has three daughters, Lorna, Molly and Evie.- Actor

Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa was born on August 1, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is the son of Coni (Lemke), a photographer, and Joseph Momoa, a painter. His father is of Native Hawaiian and Samoan descent; and his mother, who is from Iowa, is of German, Irish, and Native American ancestry. Jason was raised in Norwalk, Iowa, by his mother. After high school, he moved to Hawaii, where he landed a lead role, beating out of thousands of hopefuls in the TV series Baywatch (1989) (known as "Baywatch Hawaii" in its 10th season). When the show ended, he spent the next couple of years traveling around the world. In 2001, he moved to Los Angeles, where he continued to pursue an acting career. In 2004, after the short-lived TV series North Shore (2004), he was cast as the popular character "Ronon Dex" in the TV series Stargate: Atlantis (2004), which achieved a cult-like following. In 2010, he appeared in the Emmy-nominated HBO series Game of Thrones (2011), playing the Dothraki king, Khal Drogo. To illustrate to the producers that he was Khal Drogo, he performed the Haka, a traditional war dance of the Maori of New Zealand. The audition was with the same casting director who was casting the titular role in the reboot of Conan the Barbarian (2011). Four weeks after being cast as the popular Robert E. Howard character, Momoa began shooting in Bulgaria. His approach, like that of the filmmakers, was to pull from the eight decades of comics and stories as well as the Frank Frazetta images rather than the hugely popular 1982 movie. Jason has a production company, Pride of Gypsies, in which he is expanding his career from actor to filmmaker. He has directed a couple of short films and is working on his feature film debut Road to Paloma (2014), which is pulled from a series of stories that he's been developing over the years, which he calls the Brown Bag Diaries: Ridin' the Blinds in B Minor (2010). Jason lives with his wife, actress Lisa Bonet, with whom he has two children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.- Actress

Iwan Rheon (born 13 May 1985) is a Welsh actor, singer and musician, best known for portraying Ramsay Bolton in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011), Simon Bellamy in the E4 series Misfits (2009) and Ash Weston in the ITV sitcom Vicious (2013).
Rheon was born in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire. When he was five years old, his family moved to Cardiff. He attended Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf where he began acting in school drama productions at age 17. He was later spotted at a National Eisteddfod of Wales, before studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
At age 17, Rheon joined Welsh language soap Pobol Y Cwm, in which he originated the role of Macsen White, but later left to train at LAMDA. His first notable stage part came in Eight Miles High, which was staged in 2008 at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool.
Also in 2008, he was cast as the haunted Moritz Stiefel in the London production of the Tony Award-winning rock-musical, Spring Awakening. He played this role from January 2009 at the Lyric Hammersmith and continued when the show was transferred to the Novello Theatre, until it closed in May 2009, five months earlier than planned. He earned a What's on Stage Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, which was eventually won by Oliver Thornton (Priscilla Queen of the Desert). For his performance he won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical at the 2010 Olivier Awards. Immediately after Spring Awakening, Rheon was cast in the E4 channel's Misfits, a BAFTA winning program that was described by 247 Magazine as "a mix of Skins and Heroes". He plays nervous, shy Simon Bellamy, who gains the superpower of invisibility and precognition in season 3. A true character actor in the best sense of the word, offbeat British thespian Peter Vaughan's hefty frame could appear intimidating or benevolent; his mere presence menacing or avuncular. Adept at playing both sides of the law, his characters usually possessed a strange, somewhat wary countenance that seemed to keep his audience slightly off balance. This veteran actor has been a stalwart presence for nearly fifty years. Born Peter Ohm in 1923, he began on the stage and didn't enter films until 1959, well into his thirties.
Married in 1952 to rising actress Billie Whitelaw, Peter was primarily in the background at first, offering a cheapjack gallery of thugs, unsmiling cops, and foreign agents in movies. An easily unsympathetic bloke, he played unbilled policemen in his first two films, then slowly gravitated up the credits list. He appeared as the chief of police in the spy drama The Devil's Agent (1962), which also featured his wife, and then gained a bit more attention in a prime part as an offbeat insurance investigator in the B movie Smokescreen (1964), a role that propelled him into the higher ranks. Noticeably shady roles came with playing Tallulah Bankhead's seedy handyman who meets a fatal end in the Gothic horror Die! Die! My Darling! (1965) [aka Die! Die! My Darling!]; his villainous roles in the spy thrillers The Naked Runner (1967) opposite Frank Sinatra and The Man Outside (1967); a German thug in A Twist of Sand (1968); and Sgt. Walker in The Bofors Gun (1968).
Divorced from Whitelaw in 1966, he later married actress Lillias Walker, who had roles in a couple of his pictures: Malachi's Cove (1973) and Intimate Reflections (1975). TV became a large source of income for Vaughan in the 1970s, particularly in his role of Grouty in Porridge (1974) on both the large and small screen, and his quirky demeanor fitted like a glove for bizarre director Terry Gilliam, who cast him as the Ogre in Time Bandits (1981) and then as Mr. Helpman in Brazil (1985). For the past few decades he has maintained a healthy balance between film (including standout roles in Zulu Dawn (1979), The Remains of the Day (1993) and The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004)) and TV mini-movies, both contemporary and period. He was still performing into his 90s: his final role was Maester Aemon Targaryen in HBO's Game of Thrones (2011).

Eugene Simon is a British actor born in London on the 11th June 1992. His series regular role as Lancel Lannister on HBO's 'Game of Thrones' has been running for six seasons, formerly alongside his lead role in Nickelodeon's 'House of Anubis' for three seasons.
Eugene joined child agency Abacus at the age of eight beginning his career in theatre with the role of Archie in James Joyce's 'Exiles'. It was his childhood love for reciting poems from Roald Dahl's 'Dirty Beasts' that sparked his interest in acting.
At twelve Eugene was the younger self to Heath Ledger's 'Casanova', and at thirteen performed his lead role as Gerald Durrell in the BBC's TV-film adaptation of 'My Family and Other Animals'. Eugene continued to worked throughout his years at Downside School in a number of comercials, and most notably as Young Ben Hur in Drimtim Entertainment's 'Ben Hur'. After filming he began modelling through UK agency Models 1, he continues to do so.
On his 18th birthday Eugene was offered both his roles in both Game of Thrones & House of Anubis. Between filming the two shows Eugene debuted as lead American characters in his first US films; 'Before I Sleep' as fictional poet Eugene Devlin alongside 'Harry Potter' co-star Bonnie Wright, and Lord-of-the-Flies esque movie 'Eden' as US soccer player Kennefick. Eugene resides between London and Los Angeles throughout the year.
Known trivia about Eugene includes: his love of languages, speaking French and Spanish from a father that speaks Russian and Portugese. He is the middle of an older brother and a younger sister, the only actor in the family. The name Eugene was given from his great-grandfather Eugene Barry Walsh as a homage to his Irish ancestry. Training includes sword-fighting, horse-riding and charioteering. Impersonation, mimicry and voice over work are much loved pastimes of his and are the reasons, he says, that he got into acting.- British-born Esmé Bianco is an internationally-acclaimed actress and performer, best-known for her role as "Ros" in the Emmy Award-winning show, Game of Thrones (2011).
Degree-educated in Drama and Theatre Arts at London's Goldsmiths University; Bianco's acting career started with performances in music videos for the likes of Robbie Williams and Slayer, and UK television appearances on BBC and Channel 4; before she was cast as "Ros" in the pilot episode of HBO's "Game of Thrones".
Although originally cast in the pilot for only one scene opposite Peter Dinklage, Bianco's talent spoke volumes and changed the course of the series. Astounded by her single performance, executives boldly swayed from the books on which "Game of Thrones" is based, turning "Ros", a one-time guest star fabricated for the pilot into a series regular. Interestingly, after getting the series green light, the original pilot episode was totally re-shot with the exception of Bianco's first scene with Dinklage; a scene which garnered her a three-season run. "Game of Thrones" secured her a loyal fan base across the globe and her popularity continues to grow along with her rising film career.
Bianco has enjoyed a successful modeling career, fronting campaigns for luxury lingerie brands, such as Agent Provocateur, Modern Courtesan and Atsuko Kudo, and has traveled the world with her burlesque and cabaret shows, creating high octane performances for the likes of Sting, the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, W hotel, Ministry of Sound and Vanity Fair.

Eloquent, incisive, consistently compelling Berkshire-born character actor, equally at home portraying paternal benevolence or nefarious villainy. Patrick Malahide's birth name is Patrick Gerald Duggan and he has written screenplays as P.G. Duggan: to date the BBC thriller The Writing on the Wall (1996) and the Screen Two (1985) episode 'Reasonable Force'. He also owns and operates the production company Ryan Films. The change of his stage name to Patrick Malahide came as a consequence of there already being another actor named Patrick Duggan listed in British Equity.
The son of Irish immigrants (his father was a college secretary, his mother a cook), Malahide attended the Catholic Douai boarding School in Woolhampton, Upper Berkshire, where he first developed an aptitude for singing and acting. By the time he was in his early teens, he had also mastered all manner of Irish and English accents and dialects, a skill which was to come in handy as an actor. Malahide gained his first proper acting experience as a member of the University of Edinburgh's dramatic society, leading to two appearances at the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Though his uni studies in experimental psychology did not lead to a career in academia, Malahide tried his hand for two years as an English Master, teaching literature and drama at the Forest County Grammar School for Boys in Wokingham. Still undecided about future career prospects, he then worked briefly as a door-to-door salesman, selling English ceramic ware to American forces stationed in Germany.
By 1969, he had overcome his initial reservations about an acting career and joined the Byre Theatre in St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, as a stage manager, in addition fulfilling diverse other jobs as carpenter, electrician, sound recordist, prompter, set painter and actor. By the following year, Malahide had worked his way up to artistic director and was able to command leading roles in plays by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Shaw, Miller, among others. In 1972, he made his debut on the London stage. He was a member of the ensemble of the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh from 1973 to 1978 and of the Bristol Old Vic repertory company from 1979 to 1980, appearing in classic plays like Crime and Punishment, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, Look Back in Anger, The Cherry Orchard and Uncle Vanya.
On screen from 1975, Malahide enjoyed his first popular success in the role of the dour, plodding Detective Sergeant Albert Chisholm (ironically nicknamed "Cheerful Charlie"), Arthur Daley's perpetual nemesis in TV's Minder (1979). He essayed this character in 24 episodes during the first seven seasons (1979 to 1988). Malahide remained connected to the crime genre with guest appearances in The Sweeney (1975), The Professionals (1977), The Chinese Detective (1981), the Ruth Rendell Mysteries (1987), Lovejoy (1986) and Poirot (1989). Between 1993 and 1994, he also starred in his own series as a dapper, charismatic sleuth, protagonist of the Alleyn Mysteries (1990), adapted from novels by New Zealand crime author Ngaio Marsh. On the wrong side of the law, Malahide tangled with Luther (2010) (Idris Elba) in the role of genteel, thoroughly ruthless East End crime boss George Cornelius.
Likely stemming from his appreciation of literature, Malahide has similarly excelled in portraying a fascinating gallery of characters in period drama and in adaptations from literary classics. These have ranged from haughty aristocrats and corrupt officers to powerful political/historical figures and leaders of industry. One of his personal favorites (according to his website) was playing the eccentric charlatan and bombast Alfred Jingle in BBC's adaptation of The Pickwick Papers (1985). Other memorable roles include the wealthy, but graceless Reverend Edward Casaubon in Middlemarch (1994); the avaricious miser Ebenezer Balfour in Robert Louis Stevenson's Kidnapped (1995); the snide, corrupt Governor Ainslee in the much-maligned swashbuckler Cutthroat Island (1995); Sir Francis Walsingham, the sinister spymaster of Elizabeth I (2005); Sir John Conroy, comptroller to the early household of the future Queen of England in the miniseries Victoria & Albert (2001) and Patrick, the Bronte sisters' father (In Search of the Brontës (2003)). More recent appearances saw him in recurring roles as shrewd businessman Lord Glendenning invested in The Paradise (2012) and as Governor-General of India Lord Willingdon in Indian Summers (2015). Malahide was at his commanding best as the gaunt, intractable (and rather unpleasant) Balon Greyjoy, Lord of the Iron Islands, in HBO's epic blockbuster series Game of Thrones (2011).
Malahide's presence on the big screen has included the James Bond thriller The World Is Not Enough (1999) (as a Swiss banker), Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001) (as a German officer), A Month in the Country (1987) (the pompous Reverend J.G. Keach), The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) (CIA Director Leland Perkins) and Mortal Engines (2018) (Magnus Crome). He has also lent his voice to a number of audio recordings and narrations. His radio play 'Pleas and Directions' (written as P.G. Duggan) aired on BBC4 in October 2002.
An avid sailor, Malahide is a member of the Royal Fowey Yacht club on the south coast of Cornwall. He has been married twice. His first wife was Rosi Wright (divorced 1970). His second wife is the photographer Jo Ryan.- Actor

English-born Tom Hopper has come a long way in his acting career. A former student of Rose Bruford College where he studied acting, Tom Hopper has become widely known for his involvement in both films and in some of television's highly popular drama series including Merlin (2008) as the strongman knight Sir Percival, followed with a memorable performance (almost appearing as the spitting image of Marvel Comic's "Thor" played by Chris Hemsworth) in the medieval swashbuckler Northmen: A Viking Saga (2014). Then Hopper joined a two-part mini-series Barbarians Rising (2016) as the Roman soldier Arminius, before signing on with the Starz drama series Black Sails (2014). Ron Donachie was born Ronald Eaglesham Porter on April 26, 1956 in Dundee, Tayside, Scotland. He was educated at Madras College, St. Andrews and Glasgow University, from where he graduated with an M.A (Hons.) in English Literature and Drama in 1979. After a year working as a navvy, he joined the 7.84 theatre company for John Burrough's "One Big Blow", in which the cast mimicked a traditional, colliery band by singing in six part harmony. The success of the play led to the formation of the acapella band "The Flying Pickets", who had a Christmas number one in 1983. Donachie's decision not to stay with the band and thereby missing out on their success has been described by him as "one of my more brilliant career decisions."
Throughout the 1980s, he was a prolific theatre performer all across the United Kingdom, working in Britain's now largely vanished repertory system. This afforded him the opportunity to act in many classical plays which are now rarely performed due to budget constraints and closed theatres. During this period, he appeared in over twenty plays at the Glasgow Citizens' Theatre under its famous triumvirate of Giles Havergal, Robert David Macdonald and Phillip Prowse. Like many performers with similar experience, he considers this the happiest, most fruitful and most influential phase of his career.
In the 1990s, he became a regular performer on British television, and did not appear on stage again until unexpectedly asked to join the National Theatre company for "Scenes From the Big Picture" in 2003. This ended a gap in live performance of thirteen years. Since then, he has tried to return to the variety of his earlier years with regular live performances interspersing his television and film work. Married on St. Patrick's Day 1989 to Fiona Biggar, the couple have two children: Naomi Porter, a student of Russian, German and French, and Daniel Porter, who now performs in his own right under the name of Daniel Portman. His sister-in-law is the costume designer Trisha Biggar and his brother is the actor Stewart Porter.- Lino was born in Brazil, where he used to live until moving to London in 2005 (aged 4) with both his parents. His father is a graphic artist and animator, his mother an architect and jewellery designer.
Being brewed in a creative environment, Lino always showed a very inquisitive nature, and has had since tender age an unusually strong interest in wearing costumes and performing characters.
Aged 7 he said that he wanted to become an actor and take part in films to his mother, who then enrolled him at a drama school where he got an agent. Following this he was invited to audition for a major film by director Charles Shyer, who was so taken with Lino that he wrote a special part for him as an additional leading role.
So far Lino was lucky enough to have got a wide range of roles in various different projects: from comedy to drama, feature and short films, TV and stage (where he performed opposite Imogen Stubbs, playing her son and title character of Henrik Ibsen's "Little Eyolf").
Appart from acting, Lino loves reading, writing, drawing, riding, traveling and photography. He also loves roller skating and is enjoying his Aikido classes. - Actor

James Faulkner is an English actor best known for his roles as Pope Sixtus IV in the historical fantasy series Da Vinci's Demons, and as Randyll Tarly in the HBO series, Game of Thrones.
When at school, Faulkner was never deemed as an academically minded student, however compensated by immersing himself into the arts, training as a chorister and taking part in every house play, school play and choral society concert available. Accepted into the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Faulkner studied exhaustively for three years, and won the lead role in the final graduation production of Kiss Me Kate. A promising start to the industry saw his stage presence transform dramatically, being cast in productions including Much Ado About Nothing, Dear Antoine, and The Bacchae, until it became clear that it was his time to enter the film industry.
In 1972, Faulkner made his big screen debut, being cast as Josef Strauss in MGM's musical, The Great Waltz. Without question, a cavalcade of roles soon followed, appearing in films such as Whispering Death, Murder on the Orient Express, and Priest of Love. In 1988, he appeared opposite Jeremy Brett as one of the biggest enemies of Sherlock Holmes in The Hound of the Baskervilles. Some of his more notable appearances include roles in I Claudius, Underworld: Blood Wars, The Three Investigators, and the Bridget Jones films.
Over a long career in front on the lens, Faulkner has also lent his voice to a number of video games, including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, voicing Severus Snape, and additional voices in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Most recently, he voices Swain in the world-renowned League of Legends.
Announced in 2016, Faulkner joined the cast of the HBO series Game of Thrones, portraying Randyll Tarly, a character mentioned frequently throughout the duration of the show. His lifespan, though short, is one of the more memorable, as it was his harsh and ruthless ways that led him to his untimely death.
Most recently, James Faulkner has appeared in the films Atomic Blonde and Final Portrait, and as Saint Paul in Paul, Apostle of Christ, as well as voicing Frith in the BBC-Netflix adaptation of Watership Down.- Actor

Primarily a classical stage actor, Glover trained at the National Youth Theatre, performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company and became a familiar face to British television viewers by appearing in many popular series during the 1960s and 1970s. His talent for accents and cold expression made him an ideal choice for playing refined villains. Glover's guest appearances on television include series such as The Avengers (1961), Doctor Who (1963), Space: 1999 (1975), Blake's 7 (1978), Remington Steele (1982) and Merlin (2008). He also played the recurring role of Grand Master Pycelle on 31 episodes of the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones (2011).

Noah George Taylor, the elder of two boys, was born in 1969 in London, England, to Maggie (Miller), a journalist and book editor, and Paul Taylor, a copywriter and journalist. His family lived in both England and New Zealand before returning to his parents' native Australia in 1974. His parents divorced when he was a teenager and his father remarried--to theatre publicist, Suzie Howie. Noah left home at age 16 before graduating from University High School in Melbourne when he fell into acting. He decided to pursue his craft at St. Martin's Youth Theater. Despite his intense studies, the remote, slim-framed actor did not make his professional theater debut until March 1997 with Chekhov's "The Seagull."
His work at St. Martin's led to an auspicious debut playing the painfully shy and sensitive teen Danny Embling in the coming-of-age film The Year My Voice Broke (1987). This affecting performance lost none of its heart-tugging appeal when the sequel Flirting (1991) came out four years later. Noah won awards for both films. Unconventionally typecast as the gawky, gloomy-eyed, somewhat manic depressive, directors started lining up to use the young actor. It all culminated in what is arguably the best known performance of his career--as the young, tortured genius, pianist David Helfgott, in Shine (1996). Working in tandem with Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush, who played Helfgott as an older adult, Noah's scenes with Armin Mueller-Stahl, who played the pianist's egregiously abusive father, were incredibly powerful and helped him to win the Film Critics Circle of Australia and Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival awards. The variety of Noah's performances have been stunning over the years. He played a young Adolf Hitler in the drama Max (2002), a "what-if" spin on Hitler growing up as an angry tortured artist instead of a Fascist dictator following World War I. He played the darkly humorous protagonist in He Died with a Felafel in His Hand (2001) and the titular Jewish outcast in Simon Magus (1999).
Music, songwriting and art have been other strong passions for Noah. In 1994 he became part of a band called "The Honky Tonk Angels. A singer-guitarist, included in this band were Noah's co-stars from previous movies Loene Carmen and Kym Wilson. He has also formed other bands with such names as Cardboard Box Man, Flipper & Humphrey and The Thirteens, a country-western rock group.
American audiences have taken an equal "shine" to Noah recently, particularly as the manager of Stillwater in the popular film Almost Famous (2000); as Bryce in the popular adventure film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) and its sequel which both starring Angelina Jolie; a featured role in Vanilla Sky (2001) which starred Tom Cruise; and in the "Willy Wonka" extravaganza Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) as Mr. Bucket.- Elizabeth Webster is known for Game of Thrones (2011), Frequencies (2013) and Cockneys vs Zombies (2012).

Ian Beattie is a Northern Irish actor best known for his roles as Antigonus in Oliver Stone's film Alexander, and as Ser Meryn Trant in the HBO series, Game of Thrones.
For Beattie, acting has always been a part of his life, beginning at an early age when he toured Northern Ireland in a circus with his father. Beattie has appeared in a number of television and film projects over his career, with credits including The Tudors, Mo, Vikings, and Space Truckers.
Announced in 2010, Beattie was confirmed in the role of Ser Meryn Trant, a member of the Kingsguard under King Joffrey. Initially only appearing as a guest in the first season, he soon reprised the role in the second, third, fourth and fifth seasons. Though being far different in person, Beattie's sadistic, brutal and all round vile portrayal of the character led to one of the most graphic, yet satisfying deaths on the show. It's safe to say that Ser Meryn Trant was one of the many characters we loved to hate.
Alongside his filmography, Beattie has also appeared in the play Demented by Gary Mitchell at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast.
Most recently, Ian Beattie has appeared in the latest season of Doctor Who alongside Peter Capaldi, Hayfield, US hit series Quantico, and the historical drama film Viking Destiny.- Actress

Born in Sudan, Siddig was raised in Britain and attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) where he studied acting and theater. Immediately after leaving LAMDA, Sid did a season of theater in Manchester, in addition to performing in various shows in pubs and small theaters. Later, Siddig worked as a director in a small theater in London.
"I was in a situation where I pretty much had a theater company at my disposal and a theater at my disposal and could do anything I liked...as long as I did it for nothing. Which is sort of a step before charging and not being able to do what you like. I was at a point where I could have just gone on and become a director in London, as a trainee at the Royal Shakespeare Company or something like that, and ended up being a bona fide director. It was quite a big struggle because for a year and a half, which is the time I spent directing immediately after I left acting school, you just have no money so you're just living on welfare and you're trying to make it. . ."
During this time of financial struggle Sid was offered the part of Emir Feisal in A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia (1992), the sequel to Lawrence of Arabia (1962). Sid co-starred with Ralph Fiennes who played T. E. Lawrence.
Siddig's performance in A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia (1992) brought him to the attention of Rick Berman who was creating the new series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993). Originally brought in to audition for the role of Captain Benjamin Sisko, Berman decided Siddig was too young for the role and cast him as Dr. Julian Bashir instead. The part had to be slightly rewritten for Siddig as the original "bible" had called for an Hispanic male to play the part, named Julian Amoros, although Berman reports that no other actors were considered for the role.
During his time on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), Siddig and co-star Nana Visitor had a son (Django) and were married in 1997. They divorced in 2001, although they remain friends.
