Chet ends up being roomed with Roy, who has his tonsils removed.

The catatonic patient receives an injection from his friend, and he responds...by jumping out a window onto a ledge, nearly kicking Roy off into the parking lot until he is tranquilized.

Dr. Early's operation is a success, and the boys give their colleague a thermos of his favorite, Captain Stanley's clam chowder.
