AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D SEASON 3 RATINGS
An incredibly eventful and action-packed season with a particularly good first half
The writers done an excellent job with the characters and with the overall storyline of the season with connecting facts established in the previous ones and stretching it perfectly enough to last for 23 eps but without dragging it more than needed at all (btw the amount of filler in this season was next to nothing). This season saw the emerging of so many new inhumans and the development of the existing ones. Even though it was hard to shallow at first, I eventually loved the decision of the writers to reintroduce Skye with her birth name (= Daisy Johnson) since it shows all the progress the character has done since the beginning of the show. After being so irritating in s.2 with his "know it all" attitude, Lincoln was finally given the chance to prove himself to us and especially after the outstanding "The Team" I was constantly rooting for him.
Hive was a very good main villain but the best ones were the more minor ones, specifically the inhuman nightmare and tragic Lush (his use in the first half of the season was amazing), the late Powers Boothe (a very underappreciated actor) and of course our favourite Grant Ward (Dalton along with Gregg gave the best performance of the season again). Coulson's relationship with Rosalind was greatly executed. There are literally a ton of totally unpredictable and chilling twists. May got through a great deal of challenges and her love for Andrew was put to the test. In the first half of s.3 also we saw the best form of the team yet. The special effects and the dialogue were even better than the previous seasons. Fitz/Simmons were once again the heart of the season
Overall rating: 9.4/10
