Star Wars Grievances6 of 15
“From my point of view, it is the Jedi who are evil.”
One of the better moments in the prequels is the climactic battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin on the fiery Mustafar planet. It features strong fight choreography, and the weight of the Star Wars Universe seems to hinge on that moment.
There’s a point, though, that nearly ruins the entire sequence. Anakin and Obi-Wan are exchanging some passionate dialogue about Anakin’s conversion to the Dark Side. Both Jedi seem to be arguing their point strongly, until Anakin replies that “from my point of view, it is the Jedi who are evil.” When delivered by Hayden Christensen, this eye-roller seems as if it came via a bad Google Translate query, not from a professional screenwriter.
