Living Guest Stars from every episode of "The Lucy Show" - as of May 2019
I used my DVDs for "The Lucy Show" to compile this list. I have the official stand-alone season sets that CBS/Paramount put out (between '09 and '12 as well as a bundle of the complete series released in '16). These eps were all restored and remastered and include many of the original cast commercials. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Season 1 will be out on Blu-ray sometime soon.
Unless otherwise noted all of these individuals were billed as "Guest Star", the ones noted were billed as "Special Guest Star".
Carol Burnett is the person living that appeared in 2 or more eps of "The Lucy Show" as guest stars. And speaking of Carol Burnett, her character's last name is incorrectly listed on IMDb for her final 2 eps (a 2-part episode).
Ruta Lee was in more than 1 ep was well; however she was only giving guest star billing in her first show.
It is important to mention that there weren't any guest stars during S1 (surviving or otherwise), however there were guest cast members (like Peter Marshall who turned 93 in March). And, Dick Martin was giving co-star billing in the eps that he appeared in from S1, although he seemed more like a guest star than a co-star because he did not appear in many eps.
It is also prudent to mention that the brilliant actress and singer Carole Cook was not giving co-star (or guest star billing) in "Lucy and Tennessee Ernie Ford" even though she absolutely stole the show! Ms. Cook appeared on the series in a number of roles over the years, and I have her listed on the living TLS's cast and crew list. But it is unfortunate that Ms. Cook (like Mary Jane Kroft) was never given star billing in any of her many "The Lucy Show" episodes which is something both actresses most assuredly deserved.
Jay North appeared on a S4 ep of “The Lucy Show” and by this time he was very well known and he was in a lot of the episode. However, Jay isn't given star billing for his appearance which is because Lucy was very strict about who was credited as a "star" and who was not on her television series.
