I very much enjoyed the remaster of SoulCalibur II, so hopefully this one will get the same treatment. Maybe with Chronicles of the Sword corruption glitch fixed, please?
2. TimeSplitters (2000 Video Game)
T | Action, Sci-Fi
First-person shooter TimeSplitters takes place between 1935 and 2035 and follows 18 characters' individual attempts at defeating their own foes and the "TimeSplitters" with whom they have sided.
Stars: Barbara Whitehill, Elaine Marsh, Andy Whitehill, Jo Whitehill
Votes: 329
I will sum up all three of them right here rather than copy/paste this twice.
Although I would rather have TimeSplitters 4, I would love to replay these games in HD. I still have them on PS2 and I always will, but I think they'd be great fun on my PS3 or PS4. Great game series, hilarious, lots of fun, needs more love.
8/23/2018 EDIT: Looks like there's a fairly good chance of this happening now! Fingers crossed!
3. TimeSplitters 2 (2002 Video Game)
T | Action, Adventure, Mystery
In 2401, humanity is at war with relentless aliens, TimeSplitters. Space marines Cortez and Hart travel through time to stop the aliens in various spots, including Wild West, zombie-infested Gothic church and Blade Runner-esque future.

Votes: 3,727
As soon as I heard about Skyrim Special Edition, I asked, "Why not Morrowind?"
6. 007: Nightfire (2002 Video Game)
T | 390 min | Action, Adventure
James Bond is on a mission to investigate about a stolen space weapon platform. Raphael Drake, who is an industrialist that takes on a job to disarm nuclear missiles, is suspected to secretly using them to start a nuclear holocaust.
Stars: Maxwell Caulfield, Samantha Eggar, Kimberley Davies, Michael Ensign
Votes: 1,551
My favorite Bond game. Goldeneye is great and I love it, but I personally played more Nightfire as a kid and it is so nostalgic every time I go to replay it. I would not mind remasters of the other PS2-era Bond games (Agent Under Fire, Everything or Nothing, and From Russia with Love), but if there can be only one, let this be it.
And there's also been a lack of memorable Bond games in recent years. Blood Stone and the Goldeneye remake were good, but brought nothing new to the table.
7. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (2004 Video Game)
M | Action, Adventure, Drama
A retired mercenary is called upon by the U.S. government to handle a hostile takeover of an Alaskan military base by his former special forces group. A remake of Metal Gear Solid (1998).
Directors: Carey Murray, Hideo Kojima | Stars: David Hayter, Cam Clarke, Debi Mae West, Jennifer Hale
Votes: 1,715
I'm not sure who exactly owns the rights of this game, but I think it's worthy of the same treatment the GameCube Resident Evil remake got. Sure, it's not as good as the original PS1 game, but it's great in its own right.
8. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (2006 Video Game)
M | Action, Adventure, Drama
In 1970, six years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (2004), Snake has to fight against his own unit, FOX, which has turned renegade and captured a nuclear base in South America.
Director: Masahiro Yamamoto | Stars: David Hayter, David Agranov, Steve Blum, Noah Nelson
Votes: 952
Although it was not directed by Kojima and is only semi-canon, I feel like it should have gotten the Peace Walker treatment. I played through the story once, but never again, for I was not a big fan of the controls and feel it would have been so much better on a console.
9. Star Wars: Battlefront (2004 Video Game)
T | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi
Play as either the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, or the Rebel Alliance, and lead each faction in the key battles of the Republic age, and the Empire age.
Director: Eric 'Giz' Gewirtz | Stars: G.W. Childs, Chris Cox, Nick Jameson, Tom Kane
Votes: 4,499
I will summarize both games here.
Huge maps, command posts, splitscreen, and plenty to offer in terms of offline gameplay. EA's Battlefield: Star Wars failed to deliver and maybe remastering these would show them what we actually want from a Battlefront game.
10. Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005 Video Game)
T | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi
Play as the foot soldier of the galaxy's greatest factions and wage war across countless planets.
Director: Eric 'Giz' Gewirtz | Stars: Bob Bergen, Christina Rumbley, Corey Burton, David Boat
Votes: 7,321
11. Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast (2002 Video Game)
T | Action, Adventure, Fantasy
You guide mercenary Kyle Katarn, who must stop the evil plot of a renegade Jedi by relearning his skills as a Jedi Knight.
Stars: Jeff Bennett, Billy Dee Williams, Mark Klastorin, Vanessa Marshall
Votes: 2,434
Whether it's canon anymore or not, this game was great and full of memories.
12. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003 Video Game)
T | Action, Adventure, Fantasy
A republic soldier, training to become a Jedi Knight, is given the task of halting the conquest of Darth Malak by discovering the location of a weapon known as the Star Forge.
Director: Casey Hudson | Stars: Jennifer Hale, Raphael Sbarge, Rafael Ferrer, John Cygan
Votes: 9,288
Great game that I need a reason to experience again.
13. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords (2004 Video Game)
T | Action, Adventure, Drama
You play an exiled and depowered Jedi Knight who has returned to the Republic and must restore both your powers and the devastated Jedi Order to challenge the Sith.
Stars: Sara Kestelman, Nicky Katt, Roger Guenveur Smith, Kelly Hu
Votes: 5,518
Maybe along with a remaster, some restored content that was cut?
14. The Thing (2002 Video Game)
M | Action, Horror, Mystery
You play the part of a military team sent to investigate what happened at U.S. Outpost 31, and must face the Thing yourself.
Stars: Per Solli, Michael J. Shea, Kevin Alan Moore, Jesse O'Connell
Votes: 754
I'd probably prefer a full-on remake of this game since the gameplay is extremely dated, but it's still a good, somewhat-obscure game that serves as a worthy sequel to my favorite horror film of all time. It'd be great to revisit this on a modern console.
15. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 (2003 Video Game)
T | Action, Family, Fantasy
Play as Goku and a host of other Dragon Ball Z characters as you make your way through the Saiyan, Namekian, Android, and Buu sagas in the all new Dragon World story mode, or compete as your favorite character in the World Tournament mode.
Directors: Gô Koga, Takahiro Ando | Stars: Tiffany Vollmer, Sonny Strait, John Burgmeier, Christopher Sabat
Votes: 415
This one was my favorite of the three and they left it out of the HD collection. What gives?
16. Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb (2003 Video Game)
T | Action, Adventure, Fantasy
Indiana Jones is asked by a Chinese diplomat to find a mythical black pearl called Heart of the Dragon, supposedly buried in the long lost tomb of the first emperor of China, that grants unlimited power to its owner.
Stars: David Esch, Vivian Wu, Keone Young, Nick Jameson
Votes: 569
17. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings (2009 Video Game)
T | Action, Adventure
While investigating the disappearance of his former college professor, Indy finds evidence that the biblical staff Moses used to part the Red Sea might actually be real and someone very dangerous is after it.
Stars: John Armstrong, Orla Brady, Adrian Schiller, Christopher Godwin
