8.5-great (B+)

This was a great pilot. This show has pretty much the most diverse, interesting casts on all of TV, anchored by a consistently good Taylor Schilling. The whole series is pretty much a must see, and the pilot is a good start to a great series full of evolving, engaging characters and storylines in a unique environment.

8.5-great (B+)

This is a ridiculously entertaining show that I wasn't expecting to like. It's ludicrous, pulpy fun, and I'll definitely be watching more. The two leads have chemistry, and while the premise is shaky at best, I have confidence that the Orci/Kurtzman team can turn this into something consistently worth watching.

3. Low Winter Sun (2013)

8-great (B)

Although the show descended into monotonous drivel afterwards, the pilot was still a nice take on the current anti-hero frenzy in television. The cast is great, and it's a shame the show didn't turn out to be.
