Although a few of the films are not always considered horror and as a consequence do not bring iconic horror images to mind, this is quite a solid top ten, especially considering other years around this time. As the decade begins to draw to a close, the rising quantity of films being made leads to more diversity even if Hollywood horror leaves a lot to be desired.
