Burney's favorite Christmas films (or films with key Christmas scenes)by burneyfan88 | created - 21 Dec 2012 | updated - 21 Dec 2012 | Public
Some of these films are obviously Christmas movies. Others have only one key act or scene set during the season, but those scenes are memorable to me. Many of these "one-scene" films are also tied thematically to key concepts in the Christmas season -- the power of birth and children, flight and shelter of the innocent (including the Herod portion of the story), and the value of peace and fellowship. That's why I rank films like Night of the Hunter, Frozen River, and 3 Godfathers here, not just because the films have scenes that occur during the season.
