“ There is so much about this movie that I absolutely love. Its so hard to find a movie that is not completely hollywoodized these days and this is a great exception. Watching this movie you just feel like you are watching real people have hard times in their lives and fall in love. It just felt like a genuine amazing movie and I highly recommend it.

“ A completely "believable" portrayal of what it would really be like with a world that is in our not so distant future. I was more than just in love with Joaquin Phoenix's character. I was immersed in him and his experiences and emotions with his Operating System. This is not your normal love story by any means. It is so much different from the rest and that is what separates it and makes it so fantastic. I had no doubt in my mind that Phoenix's character was completely and unconditionally in love with his Operating System and I found myself wanting them to be together when in reality I knew that even in this movie there was no way it could ever be. Spike Jones makes this movie a true fantasy to the movie goer and also at the same time turns this into a completely believable reality that could really come true in most of our lifetimes. I will always remember this movie. It is a shining example of the world that we live in and what it could become, technologically and more than anything what will become of us emotionally as human beings.

“ This movie was way more than I could have expected. I saw the trailer months ago so I didn't really remember what the movie was going to be about before I saw it. It took way to long for this movie to come to a theater that was within driving distance of my house in Maine. I have to say that this movie was very well done. The acting by everybody was very good. The story was very unpredictable and very well written. I loved sitting in this theater with a couch and it was very relaxing and comfortable. Check this movie out when it comes to a theater near you. It's like a dramatic Valentines Day.

“ I really expected I would enjoy this movie but not as much as I did. I loved this movie so much. It had so many things about it. Mostly I would have to say that I loved the performances mainly by Sam Rockwell. Pretty much everybody working at the water park was awesome. Duncan played the best awkward kid I think I've ever seen. There is no way possible that he is not at least somewhat awkward in real life. I mean who walks like that? With their arms down and *beep* I don't care what people say about this being generic. It was hilarious and moving at the same time. A fantastic movie with a best supporting actor oscar nomination for Sam Rockwell in its midst.

“ I was really excited to see this movie. It wasn't playing at very many theaters nationwide and I had to make a trip out of it to see this movie. So many people will say this movie is awful because they want it to be something that it is not. This movie was artistic to say the least. Even the actors themselves couldn't have predicted what this movie would look like after it was edited. It was a masterpiece. Selena and Vanessa to a great job and holy *beep* James Franco. There are a lot of James Franco haters out there and I was one of them before this movie and all I can say is man was I wrong. This guy can do anything. This movie is damn sexy throughout. Oh my god damn, but it gets dark as well...very dark. It does a really cool way of showing how teenagers have these sort of secret lives that they keep from their parents and thats what this movie is really about. It really isn't about Spring Break at all and that is what makes it so cool.

“ I wasnt surprised that this movie was going to be good. This was a limited release movie for a long time and it took me too long to see it because I really wanted to. The acting in this movie is very well done by the obvious guy on the poster and by the kids as well. Visually I think this movie was filmed in a very cool way to make it look a little older and grittier. I was very entertained by this movie. The only thing I would change would be to make it a little shorter.

“ This movie has amazing acting and a completely engaging and beautiful story to go along with it. One of the best acted movies I have ever seen in my life. Blue is the warmest color is also filled with subtle hidden messages all throughout. It is a beautiful film. The only problems I have is the intense length of the movie which could have had some scenes cut way down and the sex scenes were the most graphic sex scenes I have ever seen in a movie. I couldnt not believe how intense they were. Overall though this is a beautiful film that will for sure be overlooked because of its content, but something that an older audience should definitely see. The message this movie is trying to send is so important.

“ I was beyond excited to see this movie and my god did it amaze me and give me everything I wanted and so much more. JJ Abrams is an amazing director and I cant wait to see what he does with the Star Wars franchise because he certinely knows how to show the Star Trek franchise to the best that it can be. This movie is so action packed and fast moving that the 2 hours goes by in like 10 minutes. The acting is amazing and the lens flares that Abrams is known for completely adds to the movie. Everything is so awesome about this movie and all I can say is that I love the Star Trek franchise even more now. I used to watch the show when I was a kid and finally two awesome movies have come out and made it miles better. I can honestly say I am a Star Trek fan. This was an Awesome movie. I have literally no complaints.

“ I was not really looking forward to seeing this movie. I saw this movie at a 10'oclock showing on a thursday night and I have to say that I was shocked at how invested I got with this film. I was tired going in and by the time 1230 rolled around and the movie was over I could have stayed glued to the screen for another hour. I am not a big fan of sports movies, but I would have to say that this movie should go down in the top ten sports movies of all time. This movie had an amazing script and amazing directing as well. The guy who played jackie robinson did a great job. Harrison Ford also did an awesome job as well. At times I forgot it was even him. I have to say that I loved this movie and Im positive it will be in at least my top 20 by the end of the year.

My only complaint would be that 3 quarters of the movie was non stop action. I wish there was a little less of that and more story elements. Other than that Man of Steel was very enjoyable.

The guys at pixar really know what they are doing and this movie had so much going for it. It was halarious to watch even for an 18 year old and the story is completely engaging as well. What pixar is really known for is the graphics and they also do a fantastic job with this movie.

It was a really enjoyable movie to watch.

“ I was really surprised by this movie. I went in not expecting much and I was only hoping for something good. The beginning was somewhat slow and I wanted it to move a little faster, but once the middle came around I realized that the slow beginning was needed. The unexpected twist was what made this movie an 8 instead of a 4 or a 5. I loved it. The lead up to the end was fantastic, but if I were to have a complaint it would be the revelation at the end. It was poorly executed. Channing Tatum doesn't really have a huge role in this movie which is okay cause he's kind of annoying anyway. Rooney Mara is *beep* amazing as always and you can't get through one of her movies without seeing some tits. Jude Law also kicks some major ass and Catherine Zeta Jones is a lesbien. Sounds like a pretty awesome movie to me.

“ This movie was the definition of a summer popcorn movie. The CGI was amazing to say the least and the action was done very well. The actions scenes were perfectly paced out and the way they were shot really made you feel the pure massiveness of these aliens and robots. The story did lack a little and the movie was dragged by characters that were not very good actors at times, so that brought my grade down unfortunately, but it was still a very good movie.

“ I was pretty excited to see this movie because I love disaster movies. Oblivion is a lot different from most disaster movies. It is a story of a post-apocolyptic world where Tom Cruise works to repair drones that keep watch over the earth and eliminate anything that is seen as a threat. What is great about this movie is the visuals. Everything looks amazing and the CGI and green screen effects are top notch. What I also liked about this movie were the actions scenes. They were very well done and very cool. I can't say that I am a huge fan of this movie though. There were a lot of problems as well. A lot of the characters like Morgan Freeman's character in particular are very underdeveloped and they lack a strong back story. I sat there confused for a good part of the movie because I didn't really know what was happening and by the time the end came around I was still confused. I think the script could have been a little better in explaining the overall story rather than just Tom Cruise and his partner. If that had been done I think I would have enjoyed it more and been less confused.

“ I had seen many bad reviews of this movie, but I can honestly say I disagree with all of them. I loved this movie. It had so many things going for it and so little that wasn't. First of all the acting is very well done. DiCaprio is a guru on screen and always is the best he can be. Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton also do fantastic jobs. This movie is directed by the amazing Baz Luhrmann who is known for his visual excellence and he surely impresses in his adaptation of The Great Gatsby. The parties in particular or so well done visually that you felt like you were right there in the 1920's. What I really liked about the movie was how they had Toby Mcguire telling the story to the extent that he did. It was very well done in that aspect. At times it is exciting and fun and at other times it is dark and gritty and drama filled. This movie has love, comedy, drama and action. I think it was a wonderful adaption to the great all american novel.

“ It didn't surprise me that this movie was fantastic. The directors who make the shorts in this movie really know what they are doing. The effects are spot on and believable and I dont mean crappy CGI. The make up is pretty much perfect and looks so cool. I would have to say I enjoyed the second and third short the best out of the four. The first was was just okay and the last one was a little better than the first one but not as good as numbers 2 and 3. I just really like the crazy ideas these directors come up with in terms of camera use. None of it is cheesy or stupid. It is all just creative and genius.

“ James Wann once again is a fantastic director. He is a master of the horror franchise and I cant wait to see what else he does, because he is also a fantastic writer. Insidious Chapter 2 brings new elements and extends the story to the furthest extent, making it extremely interesting and engaging. He extends certain scenes from the first movie that you thought were over and gives you a whole new perspective on them. It was brilliant because you know he didn't think of that when he was filming the first movie. This was after the fact and it was done so beautifully. There were a few things that did bother me though. I thought the beginning of the movie was a little choppy at times. Some of the dialogue could have been altered a little bit to make it a bit better and less corny and there were some scenes filmed in the "Further" involving shots of the house in particular that looked like it was patrick wilson running toward a house with smoke makers blowing smoke around in a large dark room. It didnt feel like it was actually the "further" at least not in my opinion. But for the most part I would have to say that I really enjoyed this movie and I was genuinely scared and freaked during many parts of it.

“ I had been so excited to see this movie ever since the Avengers came out last summer. I made sure I could sneak in for the 3D showing, bringing my own 3D glasses from home. I loved a lot about this movie, but there were some things I think could have been improved on to make this great. Obviously the acting by RDJ was amazing as always. The directing was very good and a lot of the scenes were extremely well done. The only thing about this movie that could use a little tweaking was the story elements. Shane Black but his own spin on the Mandarin character that a lot of people will hate and a select few will find tolerable. After about 10 minutes I think people will realize that he is actually a very small part of the movie and who you should be focusing on is Tony Stark. Another thing that could have been improved upon would be the comedic aspect of this movie. In the trailer it makes it look very dark and gritty, but the movie ending up being an action/comedy. There were times in this movie that just needed that dark and gritty contrast, but then were just ruined with a stupid joke. Over all though this movie was very well done. Like I said some people will love this movie and all the story elements and comedy. I am just not one of those people. I found it tolerable.

“ Pain and Gain was a movie that I can't say I was overly excited to see. With that being said it came out on the same weekend as The Big Wedding, so take you pick really. I went with Pain and Gain. It is directed by the crazy Michael Bay and you can certainly guess who directed this movie without even knowing that. It has all the weird zoom ins and slow motion that Michael Bay is known for. I would have to say that I really liked this film as a movie. There were things that have to do with that movie that were disturbing though. This movie was supposably a dark comedy. Michael Bay is not a comedy writer. he makes movies like Bad Boys 2, The Rock and all the Transformers movies. Comedy is not his strong suit. There was a lot of things that I actually thought were funny about this movie, but with that being said it was making light of a pretty terrible situation that happened less the 20 years ago. I can see how this movie could be extremely offensive to some people, especially the families of the actual victims. The other thing about this movie is you really aren't rooting for anybody. Everybody in this movie is kind of an *beep* even the victims. The two people that I did like were the Rock and Ed harris. Mark Walburg and the other black guy were just not very likable because of their characters that they had to play. Thats not to say they did a bad job, but in movies you usually want to be pulling for the main characters. You just can't do that with this storyline. One other thing is just the darkness of this movie. At times and especially near the end it gets really disturbing and that is when the comedy sort of leaves and the darkness starts to set in. Overall if I look past the comedic look on a terrible story like this I liked the movie quite a bit.

“ This movie had a ton of hype and everybody seemed to be in love with it saying it was their favorite movie of the year, but honestly I really dont think it lives up to it. It had some funny moments, but not at all was it laugh out loud funny. It was a better than average comedy for sure but not great and certainly not the best comedy since superbad. Craig Robinson is halarious in this movie, but for the rest of them I don't think they were overly funny. Michael Cera was also very funny for the small part he was in. Danny Mcbride is also very funny, but after a while you just kid of have enough of him and he leaves at just the right time in this movie where you had had enough of his comedy. This movie did have a lot of problems. The comedy was pretty good but not great. The story lacked quite a bit. The visuals of anything expect the inside of the house looked completely fake and really bad. Basically all the CGI that had to do with any part of the movie was done almost as bad as After Earth, but nothing looks as bad as After Earth. Also everything that had to do with the devil really got out of control with this movie and became way too much of a vocal point. It just did not live up to the hype that I was expecting and I walked out just a little disappointed.

Amanda Seyfried plays the girl and Cristophe Waltz plays the villain and you can certainly tell it is them. The whole movie was easily predictable for one thing, but what I did like about it was the story and the characters. One thing I did find kind of annoying though was the fact that they were trying to make you feel bad for the girl because of her relationship with her dad, but I didn't feel for her at all. She just pissed me off when she complained. Other than that and the animation is lacking a little bit in the crispness and look of it this movie was very well done and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

“ I went into this movie not knowing anything other than it was a movie about aliens that was similar to signs. But wow was this miles better. I was genuinely freaked out and scared for a good part of the movie. I think that a thriller like this one is scarier than a movie like sinister or insidious. Not to mention the writers of this movie also wrote Insidious and Paranormal Activity. You can certinly see that with the very similar scenes that happened in this movie, like the symbols on the walls and kids staring up at things and whispering at them, as well as people becoming possessed and taking children. Its funny to see how these concepts are carried on throughout different movies that have completely different premises. The acting in this movie is very good, as well as writing and directing. I thought they did a great job with a concept that has been done before and they perfected it and made it way better. Signs sucked and seeing an alien go through a corn field is not creepy, but seeing one standing over your kids bed whispering to him and taking his eye balls out is a little more messed up. The little kid in this movie that plays Sammy is 10 times creepier than Abigael Breselin in Signs. That little kid voice talking about the Sandman just gets you every time.

(Dredd) This one I would have to say did an excellent job. First I'm going to say what is good about this movie because there is a lot. The complete second half of the movie until the end I thought was excellent. It is extremely bloody and gory like it was supposed to be. It was just awesome! The way the movie ends is disgusting and awesome at the same time. There are nail guns and machetes and tons of awesome *beep* What I didn't like about this movie was any acting that was of somebody that wasn't possessed by the devil. All of these actors will only ever be in horror films. They are terrible actors otherwise. Especially the brother Oh my god. The directing in this movie was very good as well. What made this movie the best for me was seeing it in a packed theater. It makes the experience so much better.

“ I was to say the least really disappointed with this movie. This was a bad ass movie though. The Wolverine finally came out and showed his true colors. This movie was truly a badass action movie and Hugh Jackman is born to be the Wolverine. He is Wolverine. What honestly sucked about this movie is the story itself. It took place in Tokyo, which I think was a terrible decision on the writers part. I mean I get it. It is pretty strongly based on a certain comic, but they chose the wrong one. This movie is Hugh Jackman and then just a bunch of annoying asian actors and actresses that you cant tell apart. Especially the stupid red head with the horrible bangs. I just could not get into it and I was noticeably bored for most of the movie. That being said the action was great but other than just Wolverine himself I didn't enjoy anything else about this movie.

“ I came into this movie thinking that it would be really good. It was a very original idea that was executed pretty well. I really liked the spin that they put on the Zombie movie thing. The fact that it is told from the point of view of the Zombie instead of the people freaking out and trying to kill them was something new and pretty cool. What I think this movie was missing was the technicalities on how the Zombie's just somehow became human again. This movie was almost completely focused in the love story, which is what makes it different and a movie set for Valentines day. By the end of the year this movie will be forgotten and it wont be nominated for anything. It was in all honestly just kind of stupid.

I can appreciate what the dicrector was trying to do with this movie. he used a lot of metophors in place of characters. The mainstream audience will not pick up on things like that. They will hate it. Unfortunetely this movie lacked a powerful story. It was just kind of stupid in my opinion. I was really bored for this entire movie.

“ I actually really liked this movie. It was a very interesting story with a lot of great actors in it. Shia does a great job as a nosy journalist and Robert Redford also does a great job as hes on the run throughout the film. I really liked how this movie was put together. Every person Shia met brought him closer to the truth and I though that was really cool. It is definitely a good story and well put together film. It doesn't have the best reviews on rotten tomatoes, but I would have to disagree with them. I thought it was a great crime drama kind of movie.
