Votes: 8,778 | Gross: $28.20M
There are two types of people in this world, those who love Ernest and those who despise him. I am one of those people who loves Ernest! This is without a doubt the best of the Ernest series. Bad Santa is the most depressing Christmas movie as our anti-hero Willie drags his way through the holidays with alcohol and sex. Along the way he befriends a young boy and begins to find some meaning. Not a Christmas film to watch with your Mother and the family, but an engaging film none the less.

Another Christmas classic that I do not see the merit in. There are funny moments, but this movie is just really stupid at times. Weak story with unlikable characters. Only reason to watch this movie is too get the cultural significance of it.

An animated retelling of Charles Dickens' classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.

G | 92 min | Comedy, Family, Romance
A brother and sister attempt to bring their divorced parents back together for Christmas.
Votes: 3,686 | Gross: $14.81M
One of the movies that I saw every year because my parents loved it, but personally I thought the movie was quite a drag. The two kids in this movie are funny and innovative, but the story is not all that great. Still a good film to watch if you want to please the whole family because of its heartwarming content.

Yuck! This Nicholas Cage movie that is a telling of a rich man seeing what he missed out on by the work of an angel of some sort. A terrible movie with a weak plot that is not worth watching at all.

Votes: 76,606 | Gross: $144.83M
The Santa Clause is one of those films that you think is good a child, but as you get older you begin to realize that it is in fact not all that great of movie and is honestly pretty terrible. Tim Allen drags through this movie as he is forced to be Santa Claus because he killed the old Santa Claus.

On the outskirts of Whoville, there lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch who plans on ruining the Christmas holiday for all of the citizens of the town.
Votes: 163,740 | Gross: $260.04M
Jim Carrey is the only redeeming quality of this terribly written film that is weird and strange. Jim Carrey gives the Grinch some life, but he can not completely overcome the poor writing of this script.

23. Scrooge (1970)
G | 113 min | Drama, Family, Fantasy
A musical retelling of Charles Dickens' classic novel about an old bitter miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.

The Polar Express is one of these films that is well known and famous, but I think it is the worst Christmas film that I have seen. I do not understand what people draw from it. This movie is a nuisance to the Christmas season.
