- DirectorChris WedgeCarlos SaldanhaStarsDenis LearyJohn LeguizamoRay RomanoThe story revolves around sub-zero heroes: a woolly mammoth, a saber-toothed tiger, a sloth and a prehistoric combination of a squirrel and rat, known as Scrat. The company's first, and best. This movie is full of heart, and will always be a classic. It's a must have for your animation library.
- DirectorChris WedgeCarlos SaldanhaStarsEwan McGregorHalle BerryMel BrooksIn a robot world, a young idealistic inventor travels to the big city to join his inspiration's company, only to find himself opposing its sinister new management.Robots has always had been a favorite of mine. It especially stand out because of the cool futuristic inventions, it's clever plot twists, and exciting chase/action scenes.
- DirectorCarlos SaldanhaStarsRay RomanoJohn LeguizamoDenis LearyManny, Sid and Diego discover that the ice age is coming to an end, and join everybody for a journey to higher ground. On the trip, they discover that Manny is not in fact the last of the woolly mammoths. It lives up to the first film in many ways. You get to know the characters on a deeper level, and the new characters are fun as well. The best scene in the whole film is Sid's "sacrifice ritual dance scene". Has me laughing every time.
- DirectorChris WedgeStarsAmanda SeyfriedJosh HutchersonBeyoncéA teenager finds herself transported to a deep forest setting where a battle between the forces of good and evil is taking place. She bands together with a ragtag group of characters to save their world--and ours.Epic lives up to it's name. The action sequences are extremely exciting and thrilling. My only criticism lies with the pacing of the movie, and the misplacement of certain comical scenes. Bomba (the father), was in my opinion, a useless character who added nothing to the film. The story was simple enough, and the slug characters were definitely the best.
- DirectorCarlos SaldanhaMichael ThurmeierStarsRay RomanoJohn LeguizamoDenis LearyWhen Sid's attempt to adopt three dinosaur eggs gets him abducted by their real mother to an underground lost world, his friends attempt to rescue him. This Ice Age had a great story, but lacked the humor of the past Ice Age films.
- DirectorCarlos SaldanhaStarsJesse EisenbergAnne HathawayGeorge LopezWhen Blu, a domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota, meets the fiercely independent Jewel, he takes off on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro with the bird of his dreams. An all around good film, with great animation and a solid story. In the end though, it felt too long, and continually strayed from the story's main goal.
- DirectorSteve MartinoMichael ThurmeierStarsRay RomanoDenis LearyJohn LeguizamoManny, Diego, and Sid embark upon another adventure after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world. This Ice Age was filled with great humor, but lacked a solid story.
- DirectorJimmy HaywardSteve MartinoStarsJim CarreySteve CarellCarol BurnettHorton the Elephant struggles to protect a microscopic community from his neighbors who refuse to believe it exists. The weakest of the Blue Sky Films. Albeit it is hard to adapt a children's picture book into a full length movie, but Blue Sky definitely failed at doing so. I rarely laughed, and knew the story too well to enjoy it. Even when the film strayed from the story to try something new, I wasn't entertained by that either.
