People sometimes call Spike Lee a below average filmmaker and an annoying racist when it comes to the comments he usually makes about other people or directors. While he can for sure be a bit of an ass, the man is still and always will be a legend. A mess of a movie that at least ended up surprisingly very watchable. While the script is goofy and clunky, the direction in the action scenes is tight as well as beautiful cinematography-wise. Enjoyable as a pure spectacle movie, not much else. Ending is garbage.
