movies i really, really loved. Or had significance in my life. Some of these movies are not technically "good". Go cry about it.

I don't want to be an over-appreciator and add too many movies here, I have a huge watchlist because a lot of them are movies I want to see.

I also tried to write captions for why I chose movies and/or why you should watch them. But, it sorta failed. I also added TV shows because I don't wanna make a separate "favorite TV shows" list. I also decided to put it in loose order of most-least universal appeal.

One of the best on here. Full of themes, but I won't write what they are so that viewers can interpret for themselves. Beautiful cinematography, acting and script. You'll be absorbed for the entire movie.

Director: Nick Cassavetes | Stars: Emile Hirsch, Justin Timberlake, Anton Yelchin, Bruce Willis

Votes: 92,105 | Gross: $15.23M

Two main reasons it is on here: 1. I have an inside joke about it "*beep* YOU LADIES" 2. Anton Yelchin is sexy Oh also it's based on a true story which makes it all the more intense. It's different than any other movie I have seen, and Justin Timberlake being white trash is an essential life experience. What bothers me is that in the true story, the people who are involved in "weed and alcohol" here are also dealing/do hard drugs, mainly valium. I dislike that they omitted that from the movie.

Another dark movie about sexual abuse. Pulls you in. Also you get to see JGL get it on with many-a-guy. I recently discovered that it isn't so good the second time, but it's worth watching once for sure, and perhaps others will find rewatch quality in it.

More emotional movies!! I loved this movie as an angsty 15-year-old. In this movie, there's an afterlife where people who kill themselves get sent to-- and it is just a more boring version of life.
