Ramin Djawadi stuns and paralyzes the audience with heavy, thundering base and steady repetition of clear Leif-motifs throughout the tracks. The songs in this movie are any enthusiastic bass player's dream, and can be enjoyed by an entire orchestra or symphonic group, as long as you have the right instrumentation.

This stands for the entire saga of Pirates of the Caribbean. Enjoyed by groups from middle school to the professional level for it's variety and versatility, Klaus Badelt's scores are a fun adventure in music.

Rock and Roll reigns in this show! But the editors and producers don't just pick random songs to go with the episode or the season - every track is meant to fit with either the plot, the character development, or just the personalities of the protagonists. It's track selection gone completely right, and with more than a few classics to rock out to.

Again, this single movie stands for the entire Lord of the Rings Saga. From Hans Zimmer's artful range of dramatic, awe-inspiring, or just plane terrifying songs, to Billy Boyd's song in Return of the King, the soundtrack is just amazing in it's variety and expression.
5. Mamma Mia! (2008)

The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA.

This musical has such upbeat and lively music played alongside such talented actors, that even people who don't like musicals can enjoy the soundtrack.

Paul Haslinger did a wonderful job of blending period music with favored contemporary film-music keys and themes. basically, he stayed true to the music of the period but made it work for the different scenes, acts, and characters.
