“ When I first watched this movie, I had to double check after the first 15min I had the right film. Then after I finished, I had to watch it again immediately. The ending just rocked me. Wanted to know what the hell I watched, really spurred my second viewing (and subsequent viewings) and really has made this film rise from an initial 5 or 6 out of 10 to a solid solid 7 out of 10. I just watched this again the other day and I am thinking of bumping it up once more. ” - trickpixel

“ If you love J-Horror, stop everything and find this. For an extremely low budget film, the atmosphere created is fantastically unnervingly and the tone is unsettling. Scares happen often in broad daylight. The shots are long and the angles often time make you want to see more, to turn around, to pan, but it doesn't so at times you are always waiting in suspense of what is about to happen. Fear is everything that happens before you see the ghost, and this film does an amazing job at that.

“ This has nothing to do with the Ju-on series. It is a found footage movie that plays like a documentary. I am a sucker for this kind of mockumentary stuff and among the list of those films this is one of the most well made (though a bit lengthy). I was fascinated at the topics presented, the weird kids with telepathic powers in the classroom scenes are among some of my favorite. ” - trickpixel

“ There is reason why this movie is on every scary movie list. I don't think it is a traditional scary movie (minus some scenes) and I think that's why it actually deserves a place on this list. The scares happen subconsciously through technical inconsistencies and logical paradoxes. ” - trickpixel

“ From Noroi the curse director. He returns to found footage here and e everything he did amazingly in Noroi, comes back in full force. Highly recommend this film, though it definitely is not for everyone. There are pacing issues and LOTS of dialogue, but films like these make me feel like a detective, trying to piece together all the clues. Often times mystery films and whodunits, especially modern ones, don't give me enough opportunity to piece things together. So often things are spelled out that there is little to question. This film ties in conspiracy theories, ufos, ghosts, supernatural, cultism, and even Hell itself. Scope alone is commendable, especially with such a low budget. ” - trickpixel
