Emotional, mysterious and dark fairytale for growns up. Or? Behind the metaphors and symbols of this movie, you can find a beautiful message for your life: In the darkness, there can be life. In the misery, there can be beauty. And even in the death, there can be life. I cried at the end.

Dark, wicked, emotional and unconditionally realistic look to the mind of psychotic ballerina, yearning for reaching perfection, no matter what is the price. Natalie Portamn's best performance. The ending blew me away, I've got shivers all over my body. Turning innocent White Swan, into the sensuous, dark Black Swan was shown perfectly in this movie.

Beautiful and mysterious look into the life one of the biggest genius, who ever lived on this Earth. Creating Requiem with Salieri at the end, with clever cut was mind-blowing. The actors was amazing, especially Tom Hulce - I will always remember his hysterical laugh. If you love Mozart's music, you should watch this movie.

Votes: 903,077 | Gross: $136.80M

One of the best movies, and I think that Green mile is the best adaptation of Stephen King's books. The actors are perfect and the story is very emotional. Even in the dark place of the prison, where the prisoners waiting for the death, you can find a miracle, the light. John Coffee is one of my favorite movie characters.

What to write? This movie has to impress everyone. I cried so much through whole movie and at the end I thanked the Shindler from my whole heart, for that he've done. If this will not catch your heart, nothing will.

Director: Pedro Almodóvar | Stars: Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya, Jan Cornet, Marisa Paredes

Votes: 114,555 | Gross: $3.19M

I like Spanish movies. This is, at least for me, a big surprise of the 2011. I was never fan of Antionio Banderas, but... I changed my mind. Also, Elena Anaya made such performance, that I literally saw the pain in her eyes. This movie is wicked and really weird, so maybe lot of people will dislike it, but for me it is original, perfect and somewhat beautiful. You can change a body, but you will never recreate someone's soul.

Director: Tate Taylor | Stars: Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard

Votes: 358,605 | Gross: $169.71M

I've never seen more beautiful, positive and emotional movie than The Help is. Overall, it is even funny, fast, actors are amazing and the beautiful nature of Mississippi... This is the kind of movie built on characters. And every significant character in this movie is woman... which is very flattering :D Seriously, nice Miss Skeeter (Emma Stone), lovely Aibeleen (Viola Davis), funny Minnie (Octavia Spencer), badass Miss Hilly (Bryce Dallas Howard), crazy Jesicca Chastian... I cried at the end, when Aibee walked through the street towards new beginnings... Such powerful movie.

Director: Krzysztof Kieslowski | Stars: Irène Jacob, Wladyslaw Kowalski, Halina Gryglaszewska, Kalina Jedrusik

Votes: 32,655 | Gross: $2.00M

To be honest, I don't like these kind of over - artistic movies, but this one I loved from the first minute. That visuals, the green/orange filter, heartbreaking music, the mystery, and the feeling, which you gonna have long after watching this. The question remains, have everyone of us the "Poland Weronika"? Someone physically so far away from us, but psychically so close, that sometimes we feel his/hers emotions, his/hers sorrow? You have the answer, in the core of your soul.

Director: Tom Tykwer | Stars: Ben Whishaw, Dustin Hoffman, Alan Rickman, Francesc Albiol

Votes: 206,344 | Gross: $2.22M

My teacher once said, that the real art is only that thing, that invokes the feeling of beauty. I asked him, what if some artwork is such repulsive, that made you feel really bad, but on the other hand, it is so beautiful, that you think, you are in the heaven? He told me, that the beauty and ugliness exist together, cannot be separated, but we have to differentiate between them. This is the case of Perfume. In some passages, (the lavender fields, beautiful ladies, magnificent buildings, the representation of scents, etc) you really kind of "smell" the beauty, and have feeling that you want to touch it. In the other scenes (fish market and birth, orphanage, murders etc.) you would like to bend down your sight. But Perfume as a unit is a breathtaking, overwhelming movie, that will make you feel it's real, and that's YOU who walks through the lavender fields and smell a paradise.

Director: Darren Aronofsky | Stars: Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz, Sean Patrick Thomas, Ellen Burstyn

Votes: 206,497 | Gross: $10.14M

The concept of audiovisual art (which movies were made to be) is in this movie literal. I've never seen more impressive visuals before. And the music was so emotional, totally set into the story of "together we will live forever." Overall, message of this movie is really important, and the way it is said, is more than beautiful. Someone would say, this movie is boring. I would not argue about that. But I don't care. Impressions are on the first place in here. Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weizs are most likeable "in love couple" ever. No one will live forever. At least not in the physical form.

Votes: 1,877,996 | Gross: $534.86M

I'm not in love with action movies. But this one just blew me away! Heath Ledger was the best villain as I've ver seen in the action movie. Mind - blowing action, great story, many surprises and literal madness. "Do you wanna know, why I use a knife? Guns are too fast."

I hate American remake, I literally love the original Swedish version. The is the most dark and realistic movie as I've seen in the last time. The story, screenplay, actors, music, everything is perfect. The negativity of this movie will be balanced by beautiful nature.

The religious fanatic women in The Mist is one of the most repulsive and bad characters in the film history (at least for me).

Director: Rupert Sanders | Stars: Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Sam Claflin

Votes: 246,332 | Gross: $155.33M

Charlize Theron is the reason why I love this movie so much. Sure, K. Stewart, Thor (I forgot his name) and the other actors are pretty good, but Charlize put them down and shine as the evil queen, as one of the most crazy, wicked, bad and villain woman characters in the last decade films. Overall, visuals, fights, fantasy - it's really great. Btw, this is my favorite fantasy film, ever.

Votes: 57,805 | Gross: $0.62M

Faith without love and tolerance is not faith, it's selfish fanaticism. I'm a Christian, who believe in God, but I sincerely cursed all of these "devoted" and "good" believers, and as a human, I was on the Hypatia' site. The real faith denies the violence.

This is the true, touching story, about one of the most talented, intelligent and brave woman of all times.
