My number one TV Series- The X-Files. My first and one true love. I was 6 years old when I first saw The X-Files and since that first day I have never looked back. It has been the owner of heart for such a long time. It was the fantasy, the science fiction, the respect, honest, trust, love, friendship, the ideas, the stories, the heroes, the villians and the idea of there being so much more out there then just us. TV shows where a male and female character as involved usually at some point deals with a sexual relationship and thats all you want for two characters is for them to get down and dirty- it was never the case (pardon the pun) for Mulder and Scully. It was a true love and friendship that wasnt tainted by sex it was romantic and sweet. Chris Carter has never made something so fantastic since The X-Files and even to this day it has been the most amazing this in Television history.

Stars: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Susan Sullivan, Jon Huertas

Yes Nathan Fillion again, incidently I don't have one of those OMG I LOVE YOU things for Mr. Fillion, he is very attractive of course but it's his diverse talent I love. But he is not by any means the main reason I love Castle. My hsband actually introduced to me to Castle had I was love struck. As I watched each season at least 5 times each I have fallen more in love. If your thinking it's just another cop show- well yes in some respects you right but if you watched and saw each character and how they were played and how each story is rolled out you would understand the love. Castle has a way for grabbing you with its sharp talons, digging them in and not let you loose. The chemisty between the two main characters Rick Castle and Kate Beckett is un-freaking-belivable it's intense, passionate, sweet and at times makes it so you have to reach for a glass of icy cold water.

A vampire lands work as a private investigator and falls for a mortal woman.

Stars: Alex O'Loughlin, Sophia Myles, Jason Dohring, Shannyn Sossamon

Why the hell they cancelled this show after one series is beyond me...I fell in love with Moonlight from the word go and ever since I saw it I have never felt any different. Now I know the whole vampire thing is so over used and so annoying but no matter how much the vampire culture pisses you off Moonlight HAS TO BE WATCHED. The characters are so complex and so individual and the chemistry OMG. It took awhile after Moonlight actually ended for it to sink it that it had finished since it could have been taken so much further.

Stars: Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten

I will be completely honest- True Blood *beep* all over Twilight. Not only are the actors and actress' 10x more attractive and talented but True Blood is by far the least sugar coated show that I know of. Its brutal, honest, lustful, violent and ruthless and I love it for those facts. The first season I watched was season 5 and as soon as I saw the first ep I was completely hooked. I loved each of the characters and respected how each character played a certain role and how the role was crucial to the rest of the story. Its easy to follow, easy to comprehend and most of the characters are so easy on the eyes

The story of a group of British teens who are trying to grow up and find love and happiness despite questionable parenting and teachers who more want to be friends (and lovers) rather than authority figures.

Stars: Kaya Scodelario, Hannah Murray, Nicholas Hoult, Joe Dempsie

Season 1 and 2 was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. It was a wonderful TV Series about a bunch of teenager dealing with not only teenage issues but adult ones. The characters were contagious and it was easy to get attached to them. There were times were my heart broke for them and times where I felt so proud of them as if they were my own children. It was a huge eye opener while it might not be based on true events or true stories but it was an insight it to teenage life in the 21st century.

Will and Grace live together in an apartment in New York City. He's a gay lawyer, she's a straight interior designer.

Stars: Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, Sean Hayes

For anyone who hasnt seen Will & Grace- I BEG YOU WATCH IT. From Karen calling Jack Poodle to the fact Will and Grace were inseperable despite Will being gay and the amazing friendship, love and admiration between the characters was just so incrediable. I suppose in a lot of ways Will and Grace could be compared to Friends but even though I really liked Friends I love Will and Grace a lot more. The quirkiness, the gay characters making jokes about the homosexual community, the sweetness and the love really is so heartwarming.

Follows the personal and professional lives of six 20 to 30-something-year-old friends living in Manhattan.

Stars: Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc

Perhaps one of the most entertaining and funny TV shows of the 90's. It also had the best celeb cameo's and even though you don't see too much of some of the cast now days everyone seems the love Friends. A combitnation of wit, charm and stupidy makes Friends a really good comfort show. There were laughter, tears and plenty of Nawwwwws and it became a very memorable show and even watching re-runs is not a problem.

8. The Big Bang Theory (2007– )

It was by chance that I came across TBBT one night I watched one episode and I became addicted. The thing I love most about this is the fact it makes nerds look great. I am a huge nerd myself and when they introduced Bernadette and Amy to the series it made me proud to be a girl who is a nerd aswell. Even if you don't understand science you will still get a laugh out of TBBT. Its incrediably charming and really full of laughs.

Stars: Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres, Alan Tudyk, Morena Baccarin

Perhaps one of the most underrated television series in history. The thing I loved most about Firefly was the nostalgic wit of Nathan Fillion, I know that sounds like a bad thing but trust me it really isnt. It was also something original and each character seemed to be casted so perfectly it was like it was created by Gods. Like most nerds it was heartbreaking watching the final episode of Firefly it was the end of something really great and entertaining.

A homicide detective discovers he is a descendant of hunters who fight supernatural forces.

Stars: David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz

I am actually relatively new to this show but I really do love it. I have always been a fan of fantasy TV shows and Grimm is like the cream of the fantasy show crop. Although the characters are a bit BLEH sometimes the story line is quite fascinating and consitent which is great because I can't stand TV shows that have more storylines in one episode then those pathetic short story horror movies. I actually began watching Grimm after a 30 second preiview to it and it got me hooked.
