BEST to WORST Animes I've Ever Seen
I update this list regularly so keep in mind that this ranking might change. The shows listed on top I like and the shows listed in the bottom I dislike. All that's listed include a description of what I thought of them so keep that in mind in case you think an anime in the 89th spot means I thought it was good.

- StarsMamoru MiyanoBrad SwaileVincent TongAn intelligent high school student goes on a secret crusade to eliminate criminals from the world after discovering a notebook capable of killing anyone whose name is written into it.Not even gonna recommend this because you've probably already watched it, but it's good show!
- CreatorGen UrobuchiStarsMatthew MercerErica LindbeckBryce PapenbrookIn 1972, an ancient alien hypergate was discovered on the surface of the moon. Using this technology, humanity began migrating to Mars and settling there.First episode was very good, paced well, likeable characters, interesting story. Music wasn't great though, but definitely check it out.
- StarsAmber Lee ConnorsMonica RialAoi YûkiA girl with blond hair, blue eyes, and porcelain skin fights on the front lines of a brutal war and climbs the ranks of the imperial army. Now THIS is how you do a fucking anime. With a rather interesting but merely flawed plotline of how Tanya came to be, the execution of good characterization followed by excellent dialogue, good animation, and an interesting discussion about war and its tactics make this anime one of the best I've seen thus far. This show balances out the dark and light tone very well and the action and non action scenes are paced perfectly so they don't come off as inconsistent or boring. A stellar anime that I recommend to ANYONE who wants a good war anime with some fantasy elements implemented in it.
- CreatorRyôgo NaritaStarsMichael C. PizzutoJ. Michael TatumCaitlin GlassA crazy fantasy caper involving alchemists, immortals, gangsters, outlaws and an elixir of immortality, spread over several decades. This anime is EXCELLENT. It's quite wonky at some parts when it comes to pacing and choice few characters are weak, but the good animation alongside the thrilling action, good script, and top notch dialogue makes this worth a watch. Even the music is fun and upbeat, there's very little to complain about with this one so I suggest you go watch it now.
- CreatorRyôgo NaritaStarsYuri LowenthalKari WahlgrenBryce PapenbrookTired of his mundane life, Mikado Ryugamine decides to move to Ikebukuro, a district in Tokyo, when a friend invites him. With everything from invisible gangs to rumored beings, Ikebukuro is full of connected mysteries where people's pasts intertwine with the present.Saw 2 episodes and found myself really liking this show. Will probably watch more soon.
- CreatorYasuyuki UedaStarsKaori ShimizuBridget HoffmanDan LorgeStrange things start happening when a withdrawn girl named Lain becomes obsessed with an interconnected virtual realm known as "The Wired".Interesting story, not too fond on the characters though. But the story is the driving point so it's worth checking out for that.
- StarsYôko HikasaJessie James GrelleTia Lynn BallardHilarity and fun ensues when Satan ends up in modern day Japan without any magic to return, and starts working part time in a fast food joint. The best comedy out of ALL anime. There's a bit of fan service that can be distracting, but the show is aware that it's dumb and stupid and it works. Main complaint is when they take the story seriously, that butchers it a little. Just ignore the "story" parts and focus on the idiot devil flippin' burgers for fat ugly customers. That's enough comedy gold for this show to be rated an 11/10,
- StarsAmber Lee ConnorsJill HarrisDavid MatrangaA disillusioned resident of a post-apocalyptic world happens upon the former employee of a planetarium, a cheerful robot who is unaware of the devastation outside. It was really good. Definitely better than I expected, it managed to be charming and funny with its well written dialogue and likable characters. Don't have anything bad to say about this one, it's a strange little project that turned out great. Recommend.
- CreatorNio NakataniStarsAmber Lee ConnorsBrittney KarbowskiLuci ChristianYuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and blushes, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her, she feels nothing.Very good anime. Had a lot of heart and handled the source material surprisingly well. The characters were well written, the dialogue wasn't pandering or cliche, the animation was beautiful, and the music was very pretty. Some bad moments here and there, but as far as the overall presentation goes, the anime was mostly enjoyable. Definitely recommend.
- CreatorKeiko NobumotoStarsSarah HauserDarren PleavinKenta MiyakeIn a post-apocalyptic future where humans live in domed cities surrounded by wasteland, wolves are assumed to be two hundred years extinct. The story was intriguing, the dialogue was well written, and the animation for its time looks pretty good. Reminded me a lot of something that could be in a Hayao Miyazaki film, definitely interested in this show.
- StarsJun FukuyamaAmi KoshimizuJ. Michael TatumKraft Lawrence goes from town to town to make profits as a travelling merchant, with the help of a wolf deity by the name of Holo.It was interesting and I liked the characters quite a bit. Definitely gonna take the time to watch more as I found it fairly entertaining, moreso than I thought it would be.
- CreatorSorata AkidukiStarsSaori HayamiRyôta ÔsakaYûichirô UmeharaAlthough her name means "snow white," Shirayuki is a cheerful, red-haired girl living in the country of Tanbarun who works diligently as an apothecary at her herbal shop. Her life changes drastically when she is noticed by the silly prince of Tanbarun, Prince Raji, who then tries to force her to become his concubine. Unwilling to give up her freedom, Shirayuki cuts her long red hair and escapes into the forest, where she is rescued from Raji by Zen Wistalia, the second prince of a neighboring country, and his two aides. Hoping to repay her debt to the trio someday, Shirayuki sets her sights on pursuing a career as the court herbalist in Zen's country, Clarines. Akagami no Shirayuki-hime depicts Shirayuki's journey toward a new life at the royal palace of Clarines, as well as Zen's endeavor to become a prince worthy of his title. As loyal friendships are forged and deadly enemies formed, Shirayuki and Zen slowly learn to support each other as they walk their own paths.First episode wasn't that bad at all. In fact it was pretty good. I liked the characters, the story didn't mess about, the animation looks really good, and the dialogue was well written. Though the show comes off a bit cliche, it never bothered me nor was I bored so props to you guys.
- StarsRika KinugawaKaede HondoAsami TanoA young singer dies and becomes a zombie. She is put in a musical group with other zombie singer girls as part of a campaign to save the world.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiONOj4nAqY
- StarsSaori HayamiKôki UchiyamaMicah SolusodA modern fantasy based on Japanese Shinto legends. Suzuhara Izumiko is a 15-year-old girl, who has been raised and protected in a shrine deep in the Kumano mountains. She is quite shy and destroys all the electric devices she touches. When she begins to think about going out of the mountains and moving to the city, her guardian Sagara Yukimasa recommends her to enter a high school in Tokyo and forces his son Miyuki to serve Izumiko for life. Miyuki and Izumiko repel each other but their relationship begins to change when a terrifying accident occurs on the school excursion. Izumiko learns her fate as the last representative (yorishiro) of a Himegami goddess and Miyuki learns of his duty as a guardian Yamabushi of Izumiko. (Source: MAL News)Good ideas here and there, the dialogue and characters aren't though.
- StarsNatsuki HanaeAustin TindleBrina PalenciaA Tokyo college student is attacked by a ghoul, a superpowered human who feeds on human flesh. He survives, but has become part ghoul and becomes a fugitive on the run.Started off a bit bumpy, but it's worth checking out. Heard it gets edgier later in the show.
- StarsChikahiro KobayashiJonah ScottLara Jill MillerIn a world of anthropomorphic animals, a reclusive wolf's complicated relationship with a kindly rabbit is tested by a classmate's murder, a charismatic deer's influence, and his own burgeoning predatory instincts.I never watched an anime that had only animals as characters so for this one, I found it a rather good experience. The characters were well established and the writing was great, and even though the animation looked a bit off-putting like it did with shows like Ajin, it was actually impressive at times and reminded me of why anime was good in the first place. Definitely recommend.
- CreatorKazuya MurataGen UrobuchiStarsMichelle RuffJanice KawayeAlan LeeWhile fighting an intense inter-galactic war, a mecha pilot was accidentally warped into a space-time neither he nor the computer of his mecha could recognize. After waking up from a long-time hibernation, he found himself trapped on a planet, with human residents talking in an unknown form of language, using inferior technologies, and - most shocking to him - naturally breathable air.Not bad at all. The writing is a bit cliche and the story is generic, but it's simplistic when it needs to be and the characters and their dialogue are decent. Nothing too special but it could be something that I'd revisit.
- StarsJun FukuyamaMaaya UchidaChinatsu AkasakiYuuta suffered from "chuunibyou" while he was in middle school. When he graduated, he try to forgot about it but he accidentally got into a contract with Rikka and disrupts his desperately ordinary life.A really stupid anime, but it works. The comedy manages to be somewhat decent without going too far with the visuals, the characters are passable, and the idea itself is handled much better than it probably should of been. Might check this one out soon.
- StarsAoi IchikawaKarin IsobeTaishi MurataFour high school students are ready for their university life, but with a new transfer student, it all changes. It was actually really good. Can't say it was all that exciting as this type of thing tends to be boring as fuck, but the dialogue was pretty well written and the characters were likeable. Also I got a few laughs when it was intentional so that's cool, definitely a top contender for me in terms of animes like this.
- StarsInori MinaseYui OguraMaria NaganawaThe signing of a peace treaty has secured a tenuous ceasefire between mankind and the Zex, beings who emerged from space/time rifts connected to mysterious, distant worlds. Partnered with a Zex named Rigel, Kagamihara Azumi must shoulder the fate of her own idyllic world. The unlikely pair head to newly established Fujimisaki Academy, but what destinies await them once they arrive?First episode was actually decent. Nothing felt forced, the characters were tolerable, the animation looks fantastic, and the writing was surprisingly good. Have no issues with this anime but I'm sure the show will end up becoming bad later on.
- 201712 epsTV-147.1 (979)TV SeriesStarsRyôhei AraiAzusa TadokoroAmber Lee ConnorsWillem wakes up after 500 years and discovers that humanity is extinct. He and the Leprechauns band together to defeat the Beasts.Honestly not as bad as I was expecting it to be on the very first episode. The characters were decent, the writing was tolerable, and the show overall didn't drag on too long. Only problem is the kids were a bit much and the troll lady was kind of bad but I'd say worth watching further if the second episode manages to not be complete garbage.
- CreatorAneko YusagiStarsKaito IshikawaAsami SetoRina HidakaA gamer is magically summoned into a parallel universe, where he is chosen as one of four heroes destined to save the world from its prophesied doom. From what I can tell based off the first episode, this anime is really good. The dialogue is well written, the writing is interesting, the characters are good, the tone is a perfect mix of fun and seriousness. I guess the reason why it's this low on the list is because the first episode was over 45 minutes and I felt the time length. It probably could of been shorter, but who knows. The rest of the episodes are 25 minutes long though so at least that problem was fixed and I could see myself watching more.
- StarsShinnosuke MitsushimaTao TsuchiyaMinami Takayama29-year-old Satoru Fujinuma is sent back in time 18 years to prevent the events leading to his mother's death, which began with a series of kidnappings while he was in 5th grade.Honestly not that bad. It didn't do the best job at character development but the complexity worked nicely, the dialogue was decently written, the characters were alright if not a bit cliche, and the setup and payoff was established well. Can see why people would like this and I'd give it a further try.
- StarsJacob HopkinsTakehito KoyasuDorothy Elias-FahnA lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well. The emotional core of the first episode was really strong. While it did not have the best or most original script, it was handled fairly well and did its best to stay consistent with its tone and keep my interest. And despite one or two bad lines of dialogue, most of it was quite good and also helped keep my attention. Don't know if I'll ever revisit this show anytime soon but it was a strong start.
- StarsEri KitamuraKatsuyuki KonishiHiroyuki YoshinoIn present day Okinawa, a young amnesiac girl named Saya combats vicious, shape-shifting vampires. Her adoptive family and friends help her track down their source and uncover her past.It was pretty good. The only problem is how it slows down after showing some fun gorey action and having mediocre/bad voice acting and dialogue. I wouldn't watch it again but it was fairly decent.
- CreatorNaotaka HayashiStarsYasuaki TakumiSora AmamiyaChinatsu AkasakiAfter failing his college exams, 18 year old Tsukasa Mizugaki is offered a position at the renowned SAI corporation due to his father's connections. SAI corporation is known for its production and management of androids that possess human emotions called 'Giftia'. Tsukasa's position is in the terminal service department where their main job is to recover Giftias that are close to their expiration - it is a graveyard in every sense. To make matters worse, Tsukasa is offered to work with Isla, a female Giftia who was never given any responsibility other than serving tea to coworkers. It was okay. The humor was pretty lackluster and some of the animation and character designs were grotesque, but the rest of the animation was very pretty, the score was beautiful, and the emotional scenes were perfectly executed and managed to tear up my eyes a couple times. There was a lot of heart put into it and I respect that.
- CreatorRafal JakiStarsZach AguilarKenichiro OhashiKagga JaysonA Street Kid trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an Edgerunner, a Mercenary outlaw also known as a Cyberpunk.Cyberpunk was a concept that I could never get into no matter what. And after watching this anime in its entirety I can safely say that despite the qualities the show brings to the table the above statement still rings true. The animation alongside the characters and progression of the story are absolutely excellent (the dialogue is also written well and the voice acting is just the cherry on top), but there are pacing problems as well as rushed ideas and themes that makes this experiment hard to appreciate as a masterpiece at times. Still a good show, would recommend to anyone who loves anime and Cyberpunk.
- 2020–202324 epsTV-147.4 (2.4K)TV SeriesStarsKaede HondoRuriko NoguchiSaori HayamiMaple doesn't want to experience pain in the VRMMO game she started playing, so she puts all her skill points into defense until she can't even move. Somehow it works better than anyone expected. Now she's got followers??Honestly could of been worse. I thought that although the show lacked any kind of story or interesting characters, it was competently made, beautifully animated, and didn't drag on or bore me to tears. Not sure if it gets better or worse though, it all depends on whether I watch more of it or not. Chances are slim on the first option though.
- CreatorAinana HiroStarsShun HorieJustin BrinerHiyori KonoA computer programmer is transported to a fantasy world where life is an adventure that's fun and full of girls.Apparently it was a decent experience. The pacing of the show manages to be good, the dialogue was well written, the animation looks good, and the main character was alright as well. Could probably see myself watching more of it but it's unlikely to happen.
- StarsReina UedaKaito IshikawaHouko KuwashimaAn unhappy young woman from an abusive family is married off to a fearsome and chilly army commander. But the two learn more about each other, love may have a chance. As a romance drama, it's pretty cliche but not to the extent of being bad but fairly generic. The fantasy elements does help keep things interesting and it also helps that the animation is absolutely gorgeous to look at, not to mention that the writing and characters are not too shabby either. The dialogue is a bit crummy at times and the fan service can be a bit tedious but overall it's been a very pleasant experience thus far.
- CreatorLynn OkamotoStarsSanae KobayashiChihiro SuzukiMamiko NotoTwo university students come across a seemingly harmless girl named Lucy, unaware that she's actually a mutant serial killer with a split personality. It's alright, the first episode had some weird animation and the pacing was slow but overall not bad so far. I do hear it gets a bit more disturbing later on so I'm not looking forward to that.
- 2021–202425 epsTV-146.6 (1.6K)TV SeriesStarsRyôta SuzukiKanon TakaoNaomi OhzoraRed was once a member of the Hero's party, a powerful group destined to save the world from the evil forces of Taraxon, the Raging Demon Lord. That is, until one of his comrades kicked him out.It was quite a decent experience. A little bit too much of monologuing and exposition dump but overall it was good. Nothing more I can say on the matter.
- StarsNobuhiko OkamotoKanon TakaoCristina ValenzuelaDale is a cool, composed, and highly skilled adventurer who's made quite a name for himself despite his youth. One day on a job deep in the forest, he comes across a little devil girl who's almost wasted away. Unable to just leave her there to die, Dale takes her home and becomes her adoptive father. Devil or not, Latina is beyond adorable, and the adventurer soon finds himself head over heels with being a parent. But why was she out in the forest to begin with, and why does she carry the mark of a criminal?A bit bland and the comedy isn't too great, but overall it was a decent watch. Only saw one episode of it so maybe it'll get worse if I progress through, but I'll probably give it more of a try when I get the chance.
- StarsMaaya SakamotoMamoru MiyanoMasaya MatsukazeYou'll fall for the Ouran Host Club: Tamaki's truly romantic. Kaoru and Hikaru display brotherly love, Kyoya's brainy, Honey's innocent, and Mori's manly. Oh, and don't forget Haruhi. He knows what girls want, because he's a girl too.Not a fan of this show, but I respect that it makes fun of the awful cliche "humor" than a lot of terrible anime has. So it's worth the watch if you're in with the joke, but probably best to avoid if you don't find this type of "humor" funny.
- CreatorKei AmagiStarsBrittney KarbowskiJuliet SimmonsGabriel RegojoMelida's family hires Kufa to tutor her in hopes that she possesses dormant magical abilities. What the young noble doesn't know is that Kufa is secretly a ruthless assassin under orders to eliminate her if she fails to manifest her mana.Pretty good. I thought after the first few minutes, it would become extremely annoying, boring, and/or frustrating to watch but I was wrong. Has a few cliches that bugged me, but the show stayed true to the premise and nothing about it felt lackluster and atrocious. Might give this a further watch.
- CreatorUme AokiAtsuhiro IwakamiAkiyuki ShinbôStarsMomo AsakuraSora AmamiyaEmiri KatoA magical girl, Iroha Tamaki, searches for her missing sister in the mysterious city of Kamihama, where it is rumored that magical girls can achieve salvation. The very first episode was pretty decent for the most part if not too pretentious. The labyrinths still look like garbage, but it's not as bad as I expected it to be. Characters are pretty bland, but overall not annoying or terrible like the original characters. Story is interesting and I look forward to watching more.
- CreatorShuuStarsAleks LeKayli MillsBrianna KnickerbockerTired of endless war, Demon King Anos decides to be reincarnated into a peaceful future. Enrolling in school, he doesn't get the welcome he hoped for.The Misfit of Demon King Academy. It was very enjoyable to watch. Main character was entertaining, the plot was handled better than expected, the dialogue was decent, and the animation managed to be good too. The only problem with this anime (specifically of this type) is that it's cliche as hell and throws some generic pointless scenes in the show. Also the parents of the main character are annoyingly anime so that doesn't help matters either.
- CreatorYoshiyuki TominoHajime YatateStarsE.A. CastilloLynnKana IchinoseIn an era when a multitude of corporations have entered space and built a huge economic system, Suletta Mercury, from the remote planet Mercury, transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology run by the Beneritt Group, which dominates the mobile suit industry.Very basic mid sci-fi mecha shit. The most middest of the mids. It's so mid that it makes mid animes look.....mid in comparison. I have nothing to say on the matter, nothing about this show is objectively bad but it's not really a standout from any other mech anime. The characters, dialogue, script, and even the score is fine but it's fairly generic (which alone isn't a terrible thing). Not a memorable experience.
- CreatorKaiu ShiraiStarsSumire MorohoshiMariya IseShinei UekiWhen three gifted kids at an isolated idyllic orphanage discover the secret and sinister purpose they were raised for, they look for a way to escape from their evil caretaker and lead the other children in a risky escape plan. It's not a bad show by far. A couple problems here and there regarding the pacing, cliches, and that annoying Sister Krone character, but overall it doesn't make the experience unbearable. The writing is solid and the characters are decent, plus the dialogue is very good. Also the score and animation is quite nice and the emotional tension and the story are pretty good too.
All I really ask for from an anime, but that doesn't mean I think it's good. - StarsYoshimasa HosoyaMikako KomatsuHiroyuki YoshinoHaruhiro suddenly wakes up, with no memory but his name. There are a lot of people around, but noone seems to know anything. Haruhiro forms a party of some of the people and start exploring. It was a decent watch from start to finish. Some plot holes were left unexplained, a few characters were cliche and underwhelming, and the dialogue was cringe at parts but other than that it was a rather satisfying anime. The animation is pretty good alongside the fun action scenes, and the character development and progression was handled quite well. And while it's not an anime that appeals to me, it's still one I suggest giving a try.
- StarsYumiri HanamoriTsuyoshi KoyamaYou TaichiZero is a witch who is ignorant to the world and travels with a half-human half-beast mercenary who longs to be human. Witches practice sorcery in this world however no one knows about the study of witchcraft. Zero is on a journey with her mercenary guards to find a magical grimoire called "The Book of Zero" that hides a power to destroy the world.A surprisingly decent first episode. While the attempts at humor are tired out and the plot is generic, this anime manages to establish some good characters, understandable motivations, and great animation. It's basically about as good as a fantasy anime of this genre will get.
- CreatorYuri KitayamaStarsYoshitsugu MatsuokaYuuki KuwaharaSayaka HaradaAfter losing his mother, Rio survives in slums. He awakens with memories of Haruto, who died yearning to reunite with his friend, realizing he reincarnated in a world of swords and sorcery with his past life intersecting his current one.The first episode was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, it's pretty good for a generic isekai anime and I can tolerate its middling characters and mediocre dialogue. The action was quite good as well and the animation looks excellent for what it's going for. And while I'm not a huge fan of the plot, it's handled in a very acceptable manner and sticks with what works. So overall it was a good first impression, may not watch more but that could change eventually.
- StarsMatthew MercerCherami LeighRobbie DaymondFollows Ren Amamiya and a rebellious group of teenagers in Tokyo who form the Phantom Thieves of Hearts to rebel against the corruption and slavery in society.Pretty weird but interesting to watch. Not sure if it's my cup of tea but I'm aware of the video game and the anime seems to adapt the story of the game well as far as I can tell.
- StarsHaruka ChisugaMeg McClainDallas ReidWhen Rachel wakes up with no memories in the basement of an unfamiliar building, she runs into Zack, a scythe-carrying serial killer.Weird and entertaining in an ironic sense. Not sure if that makes or breaks an anime that's supposed to be a horror and taken 100% seriously, but whatever I enjoyed it so fucking kill me!
- StarsNatsuki HanaeZach AguilarAbby TrottA family is attacked by demons and only two members survive - Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko, who is turning into a demon slowly. Tanjiro sets out to become a demon slayer to avenge his family and cure his sister.First episode was decent, but nothing about it really sparked my interest. Probably not gonna revisit this show ever again.
- StarsAmber Lee ConnorsBryn ApprillLuci ChristianWhen a large mecha attacks the Enastria Empire, sisters Yui and Rena are pulled from their peaceful life and into avortex of destiny!A fairly decent watch. While I may not think much of it due to the lack of originality and good dialogue, its action and animation tends to keep things interesting and the story and characters seem to be handled well. Not for me but it's worth a try I guess.
- StarsCaitlynn FrenchDavid MatrangaMamiko NotoSince 15 years ago, no new lives are born, and no one can die. And then, "gravekeepers" appeared in the world, with the ability to give rest to the living dead. Therefore the people said, "God abandoned the World". Ai who is 12 years old, one of "gravekeepers". Her life changes, when an immortal gunman named Hampnie Hambart murders the residents of her small village. She learns the "truth of world" from him, and decides to travel in order to save the world.Dialogue was well written for the most part and the animation is beautiful, but the voice acting from the female protagonist was kind of bad and the tone was extremely inconsistent. Other than that, I have no complaints about this one and it might be something worth watching in the future.
- StarsTomoyo TakayanagiMegumi YamaguchiLindsay SeidelWhen she was little, Mira Kinohata met a boy named Ao at a campsite in town. While gazing at the starry sky together, Mira learns that there's a star with the same name as herself, but no star named Ao. The two then promised to one day explore asteroids together and find a star to name it after him. Several years later, Mira enrolls at the Hoshizaki high school and decides to join the astronomy club to fulfill her promise. However, she learns that the astronomy club will be merged with the geological research society to form the earth science club. Reluctantly, Mira goes to the club room and is reunited with Ao Manaka, the person she made the promise to explore asteroids with, and is shocked to learn that she is a girl.Absolutely GORGEOUS animation even if the character designs are weird. It's basically just another anime that's focusing on being just like Love Live! but better. However, it's bland and pretty unfunny for the most part and the characters are very stale and generic. It manages to be tolerable but doesn't offer much to the table unless you like cute stupid animes with no originality whatsoever.
- StarsKôki UchiyamaMegumi HayashibaraHina KinoIn an alternate 1960s, a space program recruits a vampire to serve as an astronaut and go into space. It's not necessarily a BAD anime per say, but it's certainly not great. Dialogue is a bit trash at times, the characters are pretty weak, and the animation isn't anything to write home about, but the overall structure and pacing of the show is pretty well done and it's interesting to say the least. It's DEFINITELY the best vampire anime I've ever seen, that's for damn sure!
- CreatorGamon SakuraiTsuina MiuraStarsMamoru MiyanoTodd HaberkornJohnny Yong BoschA high school student discovers he is an Ajin, a demi-human being. He ends up a fugitive on the run because of his powers.A somewhat decent story, but couldn't get past the off-putting animation. Couldn't be bothered to continue watching anyways due to how bland and generic the show feels, but it's probably worth checking out if you don't find the 3D anime look a turnoff.
- StarsMegumi HanErica MendezAlexis NicholsAkko enrolls at the Luna Nova Witchcraft Academy. She's not the best student, but her bright attitude is the key to her and her friends' success. Not sure how to really describe this one, I think I'm gonna watch it again at some point in time and have a better understanding of it later.
- StarsCarly McKillipMatt HillRhys HuberCardCaptors is the North American version of the Japanese anime Card Captor Sakura.Used to love this show as a kid. Not very good but it's worth a watch if you're under 12 or something. Even if you're not, I wouldn't say it's THAT bad but there's MUCH BETTER out there.
- CreatorToshifumi KawaseStarsMiyu IrinoYui MakinoDaisuke NamikawaSyaoran, a boy who wants to become an archeologist, and Sakura, a princess from the Clow Kingdom, are childhood friends with a close relationship. On a fateful night, Sakura lost all her memories as a result of a conspiracy to obtain her powers. In order to regain her memory, Syaoran seeks help from the witch, Yuuko. Yuuko tells Syaoran that he has to travel from one alternate reality to another to collect fragments of Sakura's memory. However, even if Sakura regains her memory, she will have no recollection of Syaoran. Travelling together with them is Kurogane, a warrior who was exiled from his country, and Fye, a magician who wants to escape from his King. With the help of a magical creature, Mokona, they set off on an exciting journey through time and space. This is okay, probably worth watching it if you can handle the cheap animation and cliche dialogue and voice acting. Music is pretty irritating though.
- StarsLuci ChristianJessica BooneNancy NovotnyA girl wrapped in white, her name is Momo...in her hand lies a blunt yet shiny scythe. By her side is a winged black cat by the name of Daniel. Carrying the souls of humans, the girl's existence parallels to that of a "Death God" or "Shinigami". At the instant when this white Death God touches the hearts of humans, the world is filled with kindness and grief.Known as Momo: Girl God of Death (Ballad of a Shinigami). Nothing inherently special about this anime. It has its moments of being good but in the end it just comes across as being bland and forgettable. Have no strong feelings about this one way or another.
- StarsAya HiranoNobunaga ShimazakiRinka H.B.B.17-year-old Shinichi Izumi is partially infected by a Parasyte, monsters that butcher and consume humans. He must learn to co-exist with the creature if he is to survive both the life of a Parasyte and a human as part monster, part person. This anime is weird. As f**k. I guess it's okay?!? I'm not sure though, the dialogue is pretty middling and the animation is a bit too wobbly for my tastes. Also the exposition is too lengthy and at the end of the day there's no answers to whatever questions I have about the plot. The score is pretty terrible too, but not gonna lie I dig the Skrillex dubstep.
- CreatorNorihiro YagiStarsTodd HaberkornStephanie YoungHouko KuwashimaA deadly breed of monster - the Yoma - has only one foe: Claymore. These warrior women, human-Yoma hybrids, can deliver salvation by the edge of a blade for a fee. This is the tale of the Claymore called Clare's solitary path to vengeance.Cliche and typical for what it's worth, but it's relatively decent nonetheless. Animation looks good, the idea is interesting enough, but it lacks great characterization and a good story. With that being said, it's an anime worth checking out but don't expect high quality writing from this one.
- CreatorTakaya KagamiStarsMiyu IrinoSaori HayamiNobuhiko OkamotoIn 2012, the world allegedly comes to an end at the hands of a human-made virus, ravaging the global populace and leaving only children untouched. It is at this time that vampires emerge from the recesses of the earth.Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign. This is about as good as a vampire anime is gonna get. Alongside its generic plot and mediocre animation and characters, it boasts a rather decent script and some good action throughout the runtime. Not something worth recommending but it's okay for a vampire anime.

But it honestly didn't end up being that bad, a couple shots and some bad dialogue but other than that it was fine. The bear girl was a decent character as a whole and her little mini adventure in the first episode was satisfying in the most basic way possible. Still nothing to write home about, but it was a surprising result. Don't really recommend though for obvious reasons, but this one is okay.

Five high school girls, who enrolled in the prestigious Queens May Fair School, are involved in spy activities that involve disguise, infiltration, car chase, and more. These girls take advantage of their special abilities and fly around the shadow world. The main problems this anime has comes down to an unfocused script, uneven pacing, cliche and forced conflicts, and mediocre to bad dialogue. Every episode feels disconnected from one another and the story doesn't feel like it really exists in this anime at all. Which is a shame because the animation looks decent, the action scenes are quite good, and even to an extent the characters are interesting and unique. Plus the English dub giving most of these characters British accents is a lovely touch to add to the culture of this world they live in, just a shame that the good qualities are equally matched to its major flaws.

But unfortunately, all the good qualities this anime brings also equals the MAJOR faults it has well which includes a boring uninspired main character, some bad dialogue, some awful voice performances, and an easy way to pander to audiences by discussing such hobbies like anime, manga, and video games although the latter seems more tied into the plot than I'd like to admit. Certainly not a bad watch but it's not necessarily an anime I'd call good either, it's mostly tolerable and decent at best.

This is a story of a dream team that possess earth's greatest wisdom and technology, that without any self-restraining bring a revolution to a different world with over-technology.This anime had ALL the potential to be extremely bad (and to be honest, it probably met that requirement after its debut episode). But from what I've watched, the anime started out to be quite decent with its gorgeous animation, somewhat tolerable dialogue, and a script that differentiates itself enough from the rest of the isekais that exist. Still leaves a lot to improve but despite its MAJOR flaws, it was a nice watch.

This anime excels at having good dialogue and a story to follow alongside NOT having terrible comedy. And following those qualities up with their excellent animation, things actually looks promising. That being said, it's too boring and tedious and none of the characters are remotely likeable. There's no visual flare to give this anime the extra kick it needs to be entertaining or thought provoking. It's just a standard anime that is neither great or terrible. Still, I gotta give Kadokawa Video SOME credit for making something SOMEWHAT decent so hats off to you lads.

It's a 5/10. It has several things going for it like the animation, the action scenes, and the tolerable dialogue. But it has just as many things going against it like how there's no tangible plot, the characters are all lolicons, and the anime never stops the action for a moment to give us time to know these characters.
