- DirectorLaura PoitrasStarsJulian AssangeSarah HarrisonJacob AppelbaumThe story of WikiLeak's editor-in-chief Julian Assange as seen by documentary filmmaker Laura Poitras. This could have been so much more interesting: Assange and Appelbaum are basically thrown to the dogs. There is nothing new to learn here, except that these two guys MIGHT be manipulative power hungry megalomaniacs. This is far from balanced and even Poitras acknowledge that she was completely compromised and not neutral while filming this. Hence the result is more of a character assassination, and not even a very compelling one as she put back to back all the footage collected over a 6 years period in which Assange looks like a dick, and I reckon you can do that to anybody if you follow them for 6 years.
