Fortunately the second Rudy comes to the rescue after Tanya is accidentally killed and once more the misfits find themselves burying two bodies and hoping to get away with it.

The group becomes so obsessed with obtaining the briefcase, that they're ready to murder each other over it. Finally, as the group tries to get the briefcase from Finn on the roof, the hurt man lunges for it and falls to his death, ending the virus. The new probation officer finally arrives, and is creepy and, possibly psychotic. Finn goes home, and we see that he has a girl bound and gagged in his flat.

Sadie counters by saying that she was only curing his slobbishness. Seth agrees to take Sadie's power from her, but in doing so, splits the couple off as they fed off each other's bad points. Both homeless Finn and Rudy move into the Community Centre, where Curtis falls for alluring probation trainee Lola, and Jess is attracted to handsome barman, Alex.

During a fight the gun goes off,killing Jake but when Curtis discovers that Lola is an impostor he briefly resurrects him and learns that,due to the storm,Lola became a man-hater turning men against each other. However Jake must be killed again to prevent him becoming a zombie. Curtis locates Lola,who now has another boyfriend,whom she plans to use to destroy Curtis,aiming to kill them both and say they shot each other but after she has shot him Curtis briefly comes back to life as a zombie and kills her before shooting himself.

Finn assures her that he will always be there for her. Finn also shadows Alex,believing him to be gay as he keeps meeting other boys. Jess refuses to believe it and has a date with Alex,who kisses her but stops short of sex. However Alex tracks down a particular young man and makes a very bizarre demand of him.
