Best TV Shows Ever

Seriously awesome. You can't even handle how awesome they are. I've seen almost all of these more than once all the way through. Some of them I've seen all the way through more than 8 times. Others I haven't finished yet because I don't want them to be over so badly that I refuse to watch the end yet.
As with all my lists, this is always in creation, it is by no means finished. I add things as I think of or remember them or see them for the first time.

An anime in which personified countries show history in a humorous fashion. (5 mins.)
Director: Bob Shirahata
“ Can't recommend this enough. It's a bummer each episode is only 5 minutes long, but seriously, don't let it deter you. It's so funny, and witty. I love the way they make fun of every country, especially us in America. Each character is a country. I.E. one person is Canada, another America, another Japan, etc etc. The ways they interact with each other are very amusing & there's a lot of great comments on history made with them. Even if you don't like anime, I think you should see it. I watched the English dub. You kind of have to unless you speak Japanese, because everything happens too quickly to really catch subtitles of everything fast enough. I mean, I read really fast, but it's just the way the show is. Very fast paced. Regardless, I recommend it. ” - SpaceOctopus

“ This was so unique & funny & good, and I'm very upset about it ending long before it was time. We were robbed. This show is probably one of the most unique shows I've seen in a decade. The entire premise is so original & the art is completely different from anything else I've seen. The humor is absolutely awesome, and the stories in each episode are very entertaining. I love the characters. 2 seasons was simply not enough, and this show deserved a lot more than that. Unfortunately comedy central only likes airing garbage now though. The only other thing of worth they've made in over a decade is probably just The Daily Show, and that was a very old formula. Disappointing.... ” - SpaceOctopus

“ Would certainly like to see more of this one. It's about a transexual hitman. Unfortunately they chose a woman to play the trans character, which is in my opinion a terrible idea in general, but at least they picked Chloë Sevigny, who does a really wonderful job with the part anyway. She actually was pretty great. Other than that, it's a very good drama. ” - SpaceOctopus
