Films at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)

TIFF boasts 146 world premieres from 72 countries with a total of 289 feature films in all. Don't even get us started on the shorts (83 of them and they're not included in the list below). The fest has wisely opted to go for quality not, by necessity, Canadian films (though there are obviously quality Canadian films by the batches) starting with the opening night film, Looper, which is getting great buzz.
