Woow. Korea strikes again. SICK SICK SICK MOVIE!!! First hour is SO SO SO AWESOME. Just perfectly done. The girl's acting/character is INSANELY good. And the chemistry between the 2 leads is amazing.
The 2nd half worked really well for me. At some point I guess I just accepted that it wasn't supposed to be 100% realistic. And I stopped caring about detaills. Nonetheless I felt like some things just didn't come together quite as well as they could've. And the ending is maybe a tad bit corny, but it had me in tears anyway.
Also I HAVE TO MENTION THE SOUNDTRACK. I'm pretty sure I've heard it before somewhere, but it is SO good!!! <3 <3 <3 ” - frankiestyn

I wrote this just after watching this movie:
"WHAT THE *beep* WHAT THE *beep* WHAT THE *beep*!!!
The first 2 hours or so are very good, but nothing really spectacular. But then... but then. The last half hour consists of mostly ~5 scenes that each individually on their own would be some of the most ridiculous *beep* EVER in a movie. Together............................................... WHAT THE *beep* DID I JUST WATCH!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!!!
May very well become a 9 after I watch it more often. Hard to take it all in properly on a first viewing. First 2 hours while it's quite good and contains many many hot girls, is not that outstanding. Last half hour though is INSANELY AWESOME!!!" ” - frankiestyn

What can I say besides: “Shion Sono is a MOVIE MAKING GENIOUS!!!!”
The acting in this movie is superb!!! From basically the entire cast. Also I LOVE LOVE LOVE the soundtrack. Shion Sono really pics some great classical pieces for all his movies and this one's no exception. I do have to say I was a little disappointed in the last ~30 min. Often movies end with their best parts elevating them to a higher level. This movie's ending is certainly good, I just didn't think it was better than the rest of the movie.
The first ~90 min though are absolutely fantastic. Just wish it would've ended with a big bang, but overall still an awesome awesome awesome movie. ” - frankiestyn

“ 7/10
EPIC Movie!!! Some of the best acting I've ever seen combined with some of the best characters ever, make for a SUPER INTENSE movie. 7++. Just just short of an 8 imo. But gets seriously close! Also love the character development. They really do change throughout the movie. Last but not least, original ending. Not the best ending ever per se, although very good and I liked the original way in which it was cut. ” - frankiestyn

“ 7/10
One of the best gangster movies ever. Has to be either this or Chingoo. Both way better than the Godfather movies. I loved the characters a lot. The main character is especially well done, so interesting and has so many sides. Is he a good or a bad guy? Tough question. Probably bad, but he's so likeable. Just awesome movie overall. VERY VERY enjoyable. ” - frankiestyn

Director: Sion Sono
“ 7/10
Shion Sono is one crazy twisted *beep* up director. And I LOVE him for that. By far the strongest point of this movie is it's plot. It's very unpredictable and there's a lot of hidden themes and symbolism in there that I wasn't able to figure out 100% on this 1st viewing. So I'm looking forward to rewatching it and filling in the holes that I don't understand yet.
It's hard to describe for some of these really good movies what seperates one from another, but I personally like Tsumetai Nettaigyo and Himizu slightly more than this. Maybe it's the music, maybe it's the acting, or the fact that Tsumetai Nettaigyo is even crazier than Koi no Tsumi. I'm not quite sure, but Koi no Tsumi is just barely not able to attain the level of those afformentioned movies in my opinion. Nonetheless 7+!!! ” - frankiestyn

“ 7/10
*beep* Awesome! I'll need to see it AT LEAST once more to figure it out. Lots of open questions and I just don't understand all of it. But I understand enough to love it. As always lots of humor from Shion Sono. And it seems like there's a lot of awesome messages in there, but am not 100% on this yet. As mentioned don't quite understand them and need more watchings + more time to think about this movie. Overall definitely epic. ” - frankiestyn

One of 2 movies(the other is A Clockwork Orange) that freaks me out and I don't like watching. The shocking thing is... this one isn't a movie but a documentary based on facts.
