TOY SOLDIERS - A great tower defense game that lets you control a variety of planes, tanks and turrets in your quest to defeat the Germans during WW1. It's quite challenging, addictive and uses good pacing to make the game interesting throughout the campaign. It does get a bit repetitive as it comes close to the end but it's still a fun game to play. 9/10

TRIALS - Addictive and challenging racing game that uses a simplistic control scheme to guide the player through a seemingly endless amount of tracks. It does get quite complicated as you go but it just makes it that much more satisfying to successfully complete a level. The XBOX version is also the visually improved HD version so it looks great as well. 8/10.

A great game with superb writing and a interesting game style. You have to prove people are lying using evidence you collect while exploring crime scenes and talking to people before the trial. The writing is funny and the way the game is presented also lends itself well to a lot of humor, however it's still quite suspenseful at times and the twists and turns taken during trials are amazing to watch unfold. It looses a bit for a repetive style during trials but still an awesome game. 9/10

The story does struggle a bit towards the end but as the game play reinvents itself it is still a lot of fun to play. The voice acting is top notch and with a lot of the story being told through hidden journals, the player is rewarded for exploring the beautiful environments as much as possible. 10/10 ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: I was kinda surprised at how entertaining and involving the story for this game ended up being. At first it seemed to mainly be a intriguing puzzle game but then the story proved to be funny, entertaining and like I said, quite involving. The fact that the first half of the game is spent training for the latter half is a great touch and more games should do it with such class. It's not a very long game but it is still a terrific game and it has great replay value. 10/10 ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: This is a great game with an original approach to the first person view genre. It allows players to choose between being vicious, gung-ho killers, slaughtering everything in sight or being near invisible assassins, taking out targets, sometimes using indirect means. It also uses a variety of approches to getting past guards and enterting buildings without being seen. The story is captivating and is supported by a perfect blend of fantasy, action and drama. The game mechanics are well executed and you'll run into very few areas of annoyance on your way through the approximate 8 hour campaign (varies based on how you play). The game also has great graphics and a beautiful music score! Due to the different approaches you can have to this game, this is definitely a game you'll want to play again and again! 10/10 ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: Fantastic game that adds a lot of new things to the Bioshock universe while at the same time retaining the charm and mystique that made the original such a great game. The levels can be a bit stagnant at times, and there are a few boss battles that add little enjoyment to your gaming experience. It's not their overly challenging or anything, it's just that the reward you get for beating them can be quite underwhelming. Overall though, it adds a lot of entertaining features to the Bioshock saga, plus it does it all with a fantastic story and a useful sidekick too booth! 9/10 ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: This is such a great game. I've played a few Western games but this just takes the crown without question. Since it's open world as well you're allowed to explore a different setting then the stereotypical big city setting of most sandbox games. The story is great, the voice acting is good and the gameplay is good. The game mechanics, like horse riding and the weapons system, are well executed and give very few outbursts of annoyance. 10/10 ” - nissebror

The variety offered by an innovative combat system can give a solid dose of entertainment and the story is extremely well written to the point where you will run around is anticipation, waiting for what surprising twist the game will throw at you next. Add to that, the fact that this game has one of the best endings ever to be seen in a video game and you can safely say the story is worth the money alone. Despite all the praise, be aware of the fact that this game will annoy the hell out of you in the beginning. The interactions you have with people and the choices you make, influence your progress through the game and the ending, all of which is presented in an innovative way. “ XBOX 360: This game challenges you to tell the difference between the truth, a lie and a doubtful statement, and oh what a challenge it is. It can be extremely annoying to try to uncover just which alternative is the correct one for certain people but this annoyance is mended by a magnificently well written story and extraordinary facial recognition software, which allows you to recognize quite a few faces among the huge cast you interact with throughout the game. “ XBOX 360: As far as open world games, this is one that will easily entertain you without really challenging you. It's a very straight forward story with some major stretches in reason and logic to make it all tie together. The choices you make are supposed to have meaning but the ending does little to convince you of that. It is the kind of game where you'll find yourself playing for hours without having really accomplished anything and when you finish, you want there too be something more. However, it does it all with a lot of entertaining skills and gizmos to distract you from the fact that you're not really doing anything. The graphics are quite good, but can lag quite a bit on the XBOX 360. “ DS: I was surprised at how much fun this game actually is. The story is quite interesting, the banter between the characters is hilarious from time to time and the gameplay is innovative and, well a lot of fun. You usually play as two characters simultaneously and the developers have done a great job at designing levels where both characters get a fair share of importance in passing a level. It is also a lot of fun playing around with the abilities of each character. The game does lose a point for annoying camera angles, but thankfully this only happens during boss fights and the rest of the game has pretty decent camera control. 9/10 ” - nissebror

“ DS: I usually don't like racing games but I've always had a soft spot for Mario Kart. This version of the game is perhaps not all that innovative but it includes courses from past generations of Mario Kart in upgraded quality, so you can race on new tracks and old tracks racing mayhem and listening to stereotypical catchphrases from your some of your favourite Nintendo characters. It has amazing graphics for a handheld game and the control scheme is simple and executed masterfully. It looses a bit for its repetiveness towards the end of the 8 cups you can race through (on three different difficulties) but it's still a lot of fun to play! 9/10 ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: A short but memorable sequel to the previous Alan Wake game. The game mechanics from the previous game are still there, the story is still told through collectables and just like last game the player is offered a story that will force you to pay attention in order to catch everything that's going on. The story doesn't have the same feeling of urgency as the other game did and the fact that it's an extremely easy game, especially for people who got used to the game mechanic from the first game, does make it a sub-par sequel. That being said, it is still a great sequel who will definitely satisfy fans of the first game but probably won't change the minds of people who didn't like the first game. 9/10 ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: Prepare to crap your pants! Get ready for amazingly simplistic, yet dangerously effective effects that will have you crawling around every corner, and treasuring every inch you advance without some little girl omniously waiting for you at the end of the hall. So it's not quite that bad, but there are a lot of aspects of this game that make it fantastic to play. The aforementioned girl, a simple but rewarding power system, some cool weaponry and adequately challenging adversary are some of the things that wait for you in these levels. The ending does leave some things to be desired but overall it is one of the better FPS horror games. 8/10 ” - nissebror

The game play mechanics are quite flawed as switching between targets is a nightmare, the camera often struggles to keep up and the controllers can be quite unresponsive at critical moments. There's also a abundance of invisible walls which will drive even the most patient player insane. “ XBOX 360: The game's story relies quite heavily on you having played the first half-life game. You are constantly reminded of your character's former glory while it's never fully explained what he's famous for. The gameplay is quite repetitive as it's usually go from point A to point B but to get to point B you must first defeat enemies wanting to kill you. The story does get a bit more intriguing towards the end but it still never fully captivates the player. Visually it looks great, especially considering the game's age. The weapon mechanic is interesting and quite challenging but the complexities of some of the weapons combined with a significant lack of instructions at crucial moments will make you die a lot more than necessary, something that will definitely cause quite a bit of annoyance. 8/10 ” - nissebror

This short game deals with the aftermath following the events of Arkham City and it does so by introducing Robin as playable character in this story. The variety in his weapons system is a lot of fun to explore and while the story isn't really all that engaging, it is still a entertaining game that will provide a couple of hours of game play for fans of the Batman games. 8/10 ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: This is a difficult game to rate. The graphics are perfectly set up and it still holds up quite well despite its age. The controls are quite clunky which comes across quite clearly with driving and character movement, but despite all its flaws, on first viewings it is actually a lot of fun to play and a game you can invest countless of hours into. However, on the second play through the game comes off a lot more clunky and poorly executed. The story fails to engage the second time around and while it still has its moments you can't help but acknowledge the fact that maybe it wasn't as good as you thought the first time. Despite all its flaws, it is a game worth playing for fans of open world games and you will probably enjoy the game play a lot more than the story itself. 8/10 ” - nissebror

The story is perhaps a bit lost initially but the game's beautiful graphics and low key score will allow you to emerge yourself in an extremely simplistic yet amazingly challenging game. A more fulfilling story would have added some texture to this interesting puzzle game but due to its relative short length, you won't really have time to be bothered by the lack of any real purpose while playing the game. 8/10 ” - nissebror

The story is interesting enough but the boss fights are repetitive as hell and the gun mechanics can be annoying as *beep* The visuals are spectacular though and the dialogue between the main character and his upgradeable gun is worth a few laughs. “ XBOX 360: What do you get if you mix survival and great graphics with a moaning, groaning leading lady? Well, Tomb Raider of course. Try to imagine the worst porn moan you can, then add in some agony and you got the sounds that emerge out of Lara Croft every five minutes. It's quite an odd sound to listen to at first but you accept it to move through another fantastic level that has, despite it's quite simplistic design, a lot of challenges and amazing visuals. The excessive use of quick time is kinda annoying but you get used to it. It is a quite predictable game but even so, its 10+ hour campaign is quite entertaining. 8/10. ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: Following in the footsteps of what, in my humble opinion, is one of the greatest games of all time is no easy task. So it is not surprising that Bioshock 2 fails to compete with its predecessor. However that alone doesn't make it a bad game. It shares some of the strengths of the original. A beautiful art design, interesting level layouts and a game mechanic using both classical weapons and plasmids. Where it fails the most is the story. The story doesn't make a lot of sense and it fails to entice the same sense of adventure and surprise the first one did. The story progression also feels painfully linear, with no way of going back to a level if you feel like further exploration is needed later. On medium difficulty, this game is also unnecessarily difficult at the start and it introduces ways to make it easier way to late. On that note, as you take on the role of the big daddy for this game, the damage you take compared to the past game and compared to other units within this game even, is not very consistent and will probably bring a questioning look to your face. The ending tries to have a shocking reveal like the first one but it fails to amount to anything worth mentioning. 8/10 ” - nissebror

“ XBOX 360: Great concept, moderately effective execution. There's some really cool features in this detective meets survival horror game but overall, it does leave quite a lot to be desired. It does set up a sequel quite shamelessly, which makes you feel like it was all a pointless mission to play all the way through to the end only to be told that the end won't come until the next game. “ GBA: For a decade year old game the graphics obviously don't hold up compared to current games, but even compared to other Gameboy games this Mario Kart version struggles to entertain. The music is extremely annoying. Rather than peaceful, or even, competitive racing music, you get stereotypical 8-bit game music accompanied by poorly voiced characters. The driving system is clunky as hell and you're guaranteed to get annoyed at at least one thing in this game. “ XBOX 360: Perhaps starting with the 5th game in a series isn't the best idea in the world but I still feel comfortable in saying that this game is one of the worst games I've ever played. I assume it's better co-op than dragging around a idiotic AI for 10+ hours but here's what I took from it: the AI is a absolute retard as she would move in your line of fire or better yet stand behind you and just shoot you in the head complaining that she somehow can't hit the target. She would also constantly get herself into trouble or make it harder for you to stay out of trouble. The classic RE stop and shot mode, where you literally have to stand still to fire your gun gives the game a very clunky feel as movement isn't good enough to make that mode interesting and worthwhile. The monster design, which is what dragged me in, is quite good and the story is decent although not very well executed, and it's only made worse by voice actors that have seen one to many war dramas. I assume this game will be better for fans of previous games but if you haven't liked previous RE games or haven't been all that interested in past games, don't get your hopes up for this one either! 5/10 ” - nissebror

This game places the character inside the story of the first Godfather movie and while it's fun to play along side well known movie characters, you can't help but notice how repetitive the game play is. It's constantly go there, talk to this person, beat him up if he doesn't cooperate and move on the next area. This in itself would have been fine if it had rewarding side missions and activites you could do next to it, but again, the side missions are all identical and with a terrible gun mechanic, where it's like you're shooting at the guy from the Matrix, a camera control that's absolutely horrible and a driving mechanic that's clunky and unresponsive this is quite possibly the worst open world game you'll ever play. 5/10 ” - nissebror
