Justice League Cast

This is a list of the actors/actresses who I think would be great in a Justice League live-action movie.

I will not include anyone from the Dark Knight Trilogy as I'm trying to make it a little more realistic. I'm not making a cast for only one movie, rather a cast for a series of Justice League movies (meaning separate films and then a series of Justice League films).

I can't name all A-list actors/actresses because that would be too unrealistic. THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION...so don't hate. Still, feel free to give some of your thoughts and opinions.

It's not yet finished, so I'll be updating it every now and then

He star in minor and supporting roles in television shows such as BBC's The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Midsomer Murders and The Tudors before transitioning to more mainstream Hollywood films such as Tristan & Isolde, Stardust and Immortals...
“ Superman/Kal-El/Clark Kent

He's already playing Superman in the Man of Steel movie coming out in 2013, so this is a shoe-in. Although he doesn't have the height (Superman is supposed to be 6'4, Cavill is only 6'1), he's got the Superman physique. ” - Mike Parker

2.
Kate Beckinsale
Actress, Underworld
Kate Beckinsale was born on 26 July 1973 in England, and has resided in London for most of her life. Her mother is Judy Loe, who has appeared in a number of British dramas and sitcoms and continues to work as an actress, predominantly in British television productions. Her father was Richard Beckinsale...
“ Wonder Woman/Princess Diana of Themyscira

She has everything it takes to be a great Wonder Woman. She's decently tall (about 5'8, 6'0 with heels), she has the slim figure, she's extremely hot, and most of all, she can kick some major ass. ” - Mike Parker

3.
Matt Bomer
Matthew Staton Bomer was born in Webster Groves, Greater St. Louis, Missouri, to Elizabeth Macy (Staton) and John O'Neill Bomer IV, a Dallas Cowboys draft pick. Matt was raised in Spring, Texas, and educated at Klein High School, near Houston. After school, he attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh...
“ Batman/Bruce Wayne

I originally said Jonathan Rhys Meyers, but Bomer fits the role much better. Good looks, rocks a suit like a true boss, and with training, he can play Batman. He would be a great replacement for Christian Bale. ” - Mike Parker

4.
Ryan Reynolds
Actor, Deadpool
Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the youngest of four children. His father, James Chester Reynolds, was a food wholesaler, and his mother, Tammy, worked as a retail-store saleswoman. Between 1991-93, Ryan appeared in Fifteen, a Nickleodeon series taped in Florida with many other Canadian actors...
“ Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

I know Green Lantern wasn't a great movie, but Ryan Reynolds was one of the bright spots in it. I ridiculed the idea of Reynolds playing Hal at first, but he played the role pretty well. But if not Reynolds, I think Nathan Fillion would be a great choice to play Hal, considering Fillion has voiced him in the animated features and has the looks to go with the voice. ” - Mike Parker

5.
Ryan Gosling
Actor, Drive
Ryan Thomas Gosling was born on November 12, 1980, in London, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of Donna (Wilson), a secretary, and Thomas Ray Gosling, a traveling salesman. Ryan was the second of their two children. His ancestry is French-Canadian, as well as English, Scottish, and German. The Gosling family moved to Cornwall...
“ The Flash (Barry Allen)

After watching Drive and Ides of March, it became easier to take Gosling as a serious actor rather than a teen heartthrob. He can definitely play the role of the wise-cracking Barry Allen. ” - Mike Parker

6.
Carl Lumbly
Actor, Alias
From stage to screen, Carl Lumbly is an actor respected for his steadfast talent, versatility and class. His prolific career includes over 50 credits in television, film and the theatre and extensive critical acclaim. He portrayed CIA agent 'Marcus Dixon,' the gentle, mild-mannered field partner to agent 'Sydney Bristow' (Jennifer Garner) for five seasons on ABC's hit drama series, "Alias...
“ Martian Manhunter/J'onn J'onzz

Since he'll have to be all CGI, Lumbly will only be voicing him like he did in the TV series. But he can also play one of his human forms. ” - Mike Parker

7.
Armie Hammer
Armand Douglas Hammer was born in Los Angeles, California, to Dru Ann (Mobley) and Michael Armand Hammer, a businessman. His great-grandfather, Armand Hammer, was a prominent tycoon and philanthropist who ran the company Occidental Petroleum for many decades. Armie's recent ancestry includes Russian...

“ Lex Luthor

Do I really need an explanation for this one, Willis would be perfect as Luthor. I also think Billy Zane would be another good fit for Luthor. ” - Mike Parker

Michael Clarke Duncan
Michael Clarke Duncan was born on December 10, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. Raised by his single mother, Jean, a house cleaner, on Chicago's South Side, Duncan grew up resisting drugs and alcohol, instead concentrating on school. He wanted to play football in high school, but his mother wouldn't let him, afraid that he would get hurt. He then turned to acting, dreaming of becoming a famous actor...
“ Darkseid

Darkseid will be an all-CGI character, so Duncan would only be voicing. He can also voice Kilowog like he did in Green Lantern or even Gorilla Grodd in a Flash movie. ” - Mike Parker

10.
“ Brainiac

Another voice-only role. He has done the voice of Brainiac a lot, so it would make sense. ” - Mike Parker

British actor Mark Strong, who played Jim Prideaux in the 2011 remake of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, is often cast as cold, calculating villains. But before he became a famous actor, he intended to pursue a career in law. Strong was born Marco Giuseppe Salussolia in London, England, to an Austrian mother and an Italian father...
“ Sinestro

He played the role of Sinestro very well in Green Lantern so I would expect him to reprise the role. Strong could also play a pretty good Lex Luthor if he wasn't going to play Sinestro. ” - Mike Parker

12.
Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp is perhaps one of the most versatile actors of his day and age in Hollywood. He was born John Christopher Depp II in Owensboro, Kentucky, on June 9, 1963, to Betty Sue (Wells), who worked as a waitress, and John Christopher Depp, a civil engineer. Depp was raised in Florida. “ The Joker

It will be almost impossible to follow up Heath Ledger's iconic performance. But Depp can play almost any role, especially when that guy is a crazy lunatic. Just a reminder, the fans originally wanted him to play the Joker in The Dark Knight. ” - Mike Parker

“ General Zod

He's playing Zod in Man of Steel for those of you who may or may not know. From the stills that I have seen from Man of Steel, he looks pretty good as Zod. ” - Mike Parker

14.
Brandon Routh
Brandon James Routh (pronounced like "south") was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and grew up in nearby Norwalk. He is the son of Catherine LaVonne (Lear), a teacher, and Ronald Wayne Routh, a carpenter. Routh has English, Scottish, and German ancestry. He attended the University of Iowa and starred in many productions at the Norwalk Theater of Performing Arts...
“ Captain Marvel

The way he played Superman in Superman Returns wasn't bad, but the cheesy Chris Reeves-like performance would fit Captain Marvel more than Superman in today's day and age. But Captain Marvel will most likely not have his own movie and will be introduced in one of the Superman movies. ” - Mike Parker

15.
Thomas Horn
Thomas was born in 1997, the elder of two boys, to physician parents. Raised in San Francisco, when he was in the sixth grade he entered the National Geographic Geography Bee, coming third and was also placed in the top four on two further occasions. Prior to his film debut his only acting experience had been as the old Grasshopper in a school production of 'James and the Giant Peach'...
“ Billy Batson

We can't have Captain Marvel without Billy Batson. Horn has some similarities to Routh (or maybe it's just me) so I think that would work out alright. ” - Mike Parker

16.

“ Green Arrow/Olive Queen

I think he could pull this off easily. Again, I don't think Green Arrow and Black Canary will have their own movie, rather be introduced (most likely) in one of the future Batman movies ” - Mike Parker

17.
Yvonne Strahovski

“ Black Canary/Dinah Lance

Blonde hair, pretty attractive, and can kick ass, lock her in for that role. I was initially going to say Diana Agron because she had the looks, but she's not an action-movie type of actress. ” - Mike Parker

18.
Bryan Cranston

He is perhaps best-known for his roles as "Walter White" on the AMC drama series, Breaking Bad, for which he has won four consecutive Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series Emmy Awards, and as "Hal", the father on the Fox situation comedy...
“ Commissioner James Gordon

When he sported the crop duster 'stache and the glasses in Breaking Bad, I thought he looked exactly like Gordon. He even voiced Gordon in the animated film Batman: Year One. ” - Mike Parker

19.
Amy Adams
Actress, Man of Steel

She was raised in a Mormon family of seven children in Castle Rock, Colorado, and has English, as well as smaller amounts of Danish, Swiss-German, and Norwegian, ancestry...
“ Lois Lane

Although I don't like her as Lois Lane, she's already playing (a red-headed) Lois in Man of Steel, so this is another shoe-in. Don't get me wrong I think Amy Adams is very attractive and a good actress, I just don't think she's the type to play Lois. ” - Mike Parker
