Rob Zombie combines Stephen King's "The Running Man" with "Saw" and "Hostel" and turns it into a.. well.. a Rob Zombie film. Not original but entertaining and over the top.
3. 7 Days (2010)
Not Rated | 105 min | Crime, Drama, Horror

This French version of "The Tortured" is even better. Raw and very dark Revenge movie.

88 min | Horror
A deranged masked Santa-Slayer comes to town for some yuletide-terror. He leaves behind a bloody trail of mutilated bodies as he hunts his way to the front steps of the town's most feared and notorious home.
Best Santa Slayer slasher next to "Silent Night Deadly Night". Story and cast are average/okay but the prosthetic special effects are brutal, bloody and gory '80's style that remind you of "The Prowler", "Intruder" and the early "Friday the 13th" movies.

10. Bereavement (2010)
R | 103 min | Crime, Horror, Thriller
The horrific account of 6 year old Martin Bristol, abducted from his backyard swing and forced to witness the brutal crimes of a deranged madman.
The concept (girls being kidnapped by a deranged serial killer and taken to his morbid place of home) is nothing new, but he has found an apprentice in the young boy Martin and the story is frightening, especially in the bloody and shocking final half hour. Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, The Rock) is in it. Still worth a watch, considering a lot of gore was cut out before release.

After the success of "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th" there were a lot of inferieur slasher clones but this one's a real keeper. Also known as "Slasher" and it took years to be released. Interesting story and the convincing killer is well played with some gruesome and gory effects. Finally an uncut BluRay release, most of the DVD versions were cut.

One morning, a young man wakes to find that a small, disgusting creature has attached itself to the base of his brain stem. The creature gives him a euphoric state of happiness but demands human victims in return.

Gotta love the scene where the girl shaves her legs in the bathroom. Director Eli Roth (Hostel 1 & 2) loves the genre himself and is a great fan of horror.
24. Cabin Fever (2016)
R | 99 min | Horror
While visiting their getaway cabin, five friends succumb to a flesh-eating disease.
Forget the 'sequels' but this remake is certainly a decent one. Not as good as Eli Roth's original but it pays hommage to the original with something fresh.
25. Cannibal Ferox (1981)
Not Rated | 93 min | Adventure, Horror
Three friends out to disprove cannibalism meet two men on the run who tortured and enslaved a cannibal tribe to find emeralds, and now the tribe is out for revenge.
Almost as good as Cannibal Holocaust. Especially the castration scene and the breast impaling scene is nasty. Like Holocaust, could have been better without the animal cruelty scenes, I didn't care for that.
26. Cannibal Holocaust (1980)

Rob Zombie's best film next to the Halloween remake. Way better than "House of 1000 corpses" and his second Halloween film. Bill Moseley from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" is awesome.

R | 92 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller
Still haunted by his past, Tommy Jarvis - who, as a child, killed Jason Voorhees - wonders if the serial killer is connected to a series of brutal murders occurring in and around the secluded halfway house where he now lives.
Votes: 25,717 | Gross: $21.93M
A lot of people hate Part V, but I think it's underrated. So Jason is not the killer, it's still a great slasher flick with a high body count. It's more in the tradition of the earlier Friday the 13th's than the zombie Jason from Part VI.
60. Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988)
R | 88 min | Horror, Thriller
Years after Tommy Jarvis chained him underwater at Camp Crystal Lake, the dormant Jason Voorhees returns to the camp grounds when he is accidentally released from his prison by a telekinetic teenager.
Votes: 24,660 | Gross: $19.17M
With awesome special effects by director John Carl Buechler. Atleast if you see the Unrated kills, this film was trimmed heavily by the godawful MPAA. The unrated scenes can only be found as separate bonus material on some of the DVD's.

Low budget slasher with cardboard characters and laughable dialogue but with a long and disturbing rape scene. The killings are brutal, sadistic and contain some gruesome and well done effects. For a lot of genre fans, "Gutterballs" is a cult favorite.
67. Halloween (2007)
R | 109 min | Horror
After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, escapes from the mental institution and immediately returns to Haddonfield to find his baby sister, Laurie.
Votes: 94,687 | Gross: $58.27M
Don't get me wrong: I'm a huge fan of this franchise and my personal favorites are "Halloween" (1978), "Halloween II" (1981) and "Halloween H20" (1998). But let's be honest; they don't belong in this gore list. I also love this remake from director Rob Zombie. The killings are brutal and over the top.

R | 105 min | Horror
Laurie Strode struggles to come to terms with her brother Michael's deadly return to Haddonfield, Illinois; meanwhile, Michael prepares for another reunion with his sister.

The fictional 1978 horror movie the two boys were watching in "Found". Low budget gore but considering it's budget not bad with gruesome scenes of mutilation and killing but the killer is given a pychological background that reminds you of movies like 1981's "Nightmares in a Damaged Brain".

Very sick and twisted story. Especially since it's 100% medical accurate. Director Tom Six is from Holland !

Makes the first one look like Disney's "Bambi". Probably the most twisted film ever made, the Martin character performance was so eerie and realistic, you thought he was real. Dutch director Tom Six really blew it with the cheap garbage that was Part III.

The notorious video nasty. After roughly 40 years some scenes are still unsettling and hard to watch. Wes Craven's earlier work (he would later direct "The Hills Have Eyes", "Nightmare On Elm Street" and Scream") and Sean S. Cunningham produced (Yep, the director of "Friday the 13th).
