This is a list of my favorite movies dating back to the early 1950's. I highly recommend these and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

“ Simply stated, this is the BEST movie I have seen in many years. I loved every second of this film, and it has quickly become an all-time favorite of mine, right up there with Shawshank, Godfather, Forrest Gump, Green Mile, Field of Dreams and Goodfellas. It is THAT good.

You can also add me to what must be a growing list of men who have been captivated and mesmerized by Ms Jennifer Lawrence. She is so wonderful in this movie, and a lock to win the Globe (and other awards) for best actress for a comedy/musical.

I thought Jennifer was terrific in The Hunger Games, but I fell in love with her watching Silver Linings Playbook. Oh, yea, and this movie should also win a few best comedy/musical awards in a close race with Les Miserables.
