Favorite Horror (and Related) films by Year Period 1931-1962

In No Certain Order, I wanted to provide a list of horror films (and films related to the genre) that I like/love. I was debating in my mind when the classic period of horror ends and the contemporary era began. I think Blood Feast, regardless of how you recognize its status as a horror classic, ushered in a different era when the rules were changing. I thought about 1960 being this year, with films like Psycho and Peeping Tom, but feel Blood Feast announced ultimately that the rules were changing. While Night of the Living Dead, to me, really is the film that took the genre into a different place, Blood Feast, to me anyway, set the standard in regards to depraved violence and the evil that can inflicted on man in an explicit way.
