Saw at Dedham Showcase 1/16/12. I'm one of the few people who hasn't read the books, so I went in without any expectations. Very well done firm. Mara Rooney gives an amazing performance.

Watched DVD: 1/20/12. One of Allen's throwaway films. One of those movies you expect to somewhere after all time spent laying out premise, but then it just stops. Not a very good film, although Naomi Watts is terrific.

Saw DVD: 1/21/12. Very dopey film. Almost like a joke: Priest and a Rabbi walk into a bar -- and fall in love with the same girl. Ben Stiller's a "hip" rabbi because he turns his synagogue into something that resembles the church scene in Blues Brothers - like that could happen.
