This is the king of all movies that people liked that I hated.

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life.

Never before have I seen more of an incomprehensible, nonsensical, and stupid plot in my life. The movie Rubber has a better plot than this (the plot of Rubber is a tire rolling around trying to find his purpose in life).

That's actually kind of like this movie: the little penguin who can't sing is trying to find his purpose in life. So there is an exposition, but everything that happens after that is so ridiculously unrelated and random. So many times I found myself going "Wait, why's he doing this?"

This movie had no point whatsoever, and I'm sad to see it on the resume of so many great actors (Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Elijah Wood).

Sheer crap. Shouldn't have won best animated picture.

Rango is an ordinary chameleon who accidentally winds up in the town of Dirt, a lawless outpost in the Wild West in desperate need of a new sheriff.

Director: Gore Verbinski | Stars: Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Timothy Olyphant, Abigail Breslin

I love the Johnny Depp/Gore Verbinski combo, and I wanted to really like this movie, but I just didn't.

Johnny Depp does great in this movie, and there are some really great laughs in this movie, but they can't spackle over or fill in the holes of the sloppy, bland, and uninvolved plot.
