My "So-So"(6-5-4 stars) Movies list...

I created this list for movies I have seen that I feel are neither that bad but not that good either. I can't put them in my "Excellent"(10 stars} category or my "Best"(9-8-7 stars) category or my "Sad"(3-2-1 stars) category so I put them here, in my "So-So"(6-5-4 stars)category. They will get some repeated viewings but not that often as the others would.

While not stated outright in the film the probe that crashed was carrying samples from Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. The news scroll at the bottom of the screen in the hotel room alludes to this fact.

The film was shot opportunistically, with little to no outline of scenes and their direction. The 2 actors were given a general outline of scenes and simply interacted with one another and the other cast members, all which are not actors. It's contents can be seen in the film. DISCOVER THE TRUTH." Also on that page, very well-hidden, is a small white dot that, if clicked on, will send you to the website missioncontrolblog.org - a mock website which was created to "Uncover the truth about the Apollo missions".

As Cdr. Walker's mental condition worsens, he mutters "Fate has ordained the men who went to the Moon to explore in peace remain on the Moon to rest in peace." This line paraphrases the beginning of a contingency speech, drafted by speech writer William Safire in a memo entitled "In Event of Moon Disaster," which was intended to be delivered by President Richard Nixon in the event that the Apollo 11 astronauts were stranded on the lunar surface without hope of rescue. ” - SombeeKillah
